💖 We are migrating to OS!! Queer Women D&D and TTRPGs (Dungeons and Dragons)
👋 Hi everyone! **We’re currently migrating to [Outsavvy](https://www.outsavvy.com/event/34181/queer-women-ttprg-games), so RSVPs there will open about 1 week earlier than on here. Please [sign up on Outsavvy](https://www.outsavvy.com/organiser/queer-women-dd-and-games) to secure your spot first.** **Thanks so much, and see you there!** 💖 Are you a queer woman (lesbian, bi, pan, ace, trans, or non-binary) who would like to embark on a new adventure with like-minded companions? Join us now! It doesn't matter if you're a weathered veteran of dungeon crawling or a newbie ready for your first adventure; you are welcome here! **In this event, we run D&D 5e and other Tabletop RPGs' one-shots.** ⏰ **Time:** If you have a preference of games, make sure to arrive early and snag your spot. Otherwise, we'll mix things up and assign tables randomly. 📍 **Venue:** You're welcome to bring food and drinks, just remember to clean up after yourselves. ⚔️ **New Adventurers:** Welcome to the amazing experience of building a world and a story with a circle of people at the table. If you've never played D&D before, rest assured that we'll help you out. :) ✏️ **What do you need to bring?** Just yourself, along with pencils and paper. We can provide you with a pre-generated character sheet, if you don't have your own characters. We also recommend playing around with free character creator apps, such as *DnD Beyond* or *Roll20*. It's a lot of fun! **‼️ RSVP** If your availability changes, please update your RSVP at least three days before the event. This allows others on the waitlist to join the event. 📣 **Are you a GM/DM?** If you’re an experienced GM or DM interested in running your own game, please message us (Athena or Tiffany)! D&D 5e and other TTRPG one-shots are all welcome. **We can't wait to fight alongside all of you!**
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) and Role-Playing Games Evening!
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) and Role-Playing Games Evening!
Local Dungeon Masters/Games Masters will be running three or four games every Tuesday. These will be straightforward "turn up and play" games, where pre-generated characters will be provided for you - All you need to bring is your imagination! Ideal for newcomers, but more experienced players absolutely welcome! Please note that we will increase the Meetup cap upwards from 10 once we have sufficient volunteer GMs for this event. Please turn up from 6:30pm so we can arrange into groups just before 7:00pm and be ready to start rolling dice. *We can't guarantee your place at a table if you arrive after 7pm.* **NEW:** On arrival, please find one of the event hosts and let them know you are present, so we can check you in. *(And tell us your name! Some of us aren't great at remembering names/faces)* Attendance for players will be £8.00 payable to The Ludoquist. It's also worth mentioning that, if you sign up with a guest and find yourself on the waitlist, Meetup will often move individuals off the waitlist before you as spots become free. This is less than ideal but is out of our hands unfortunately. For this reason (among others), we recommend you and your guest sign up for the event individually. **Ludoquist RPG Code of Conduct** We will always do our best to make sure games are safe and fun spaces for everyone, and we ask that players do the same. Respect your fellow players: * Try to ensure everyone has a chance to speak. * If you feel unwell on the day of the event we ask that you don't come along, and mark yourself as *"Not going"*. * Never be disparaging or insulting towards other players - conflicts between characters can be good, but conflict between players never is. The following topics will never be introduced in games organised by The Ludoquist, and we ask that you don't introduce them either. * *Sexual assault* * *Slavery* * *LGBTA+ discrimination or harassment* * *Racism* * *Harm to children* * *Cancer, dementia, or other serious real-world illness* If you have a specific trigger or phobia that you would like to not occur in play please let your GM know. All our GMs are happy to oblige. In general swearing is entirely fine but if a player asks that it's toned down, please do so. Please do also be aware that The Ludoquist is a public venue, and language used should be appropriate to that and please be aware of any neighbouring tables.
Gong Bath Sound Meditation in Brockley
Gong Bath Sound Meditation in Brockley
**Cosmic Soul,** I am thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for an enchanting gong bath session at the serene and welcoming "andosteo" studio, nestled in the heart of Brockley. Just a short stroll from Brockley overground station, this wellness sanctuary features a delightful yoga studio, the perfect setting for our transformative gong bath. Imagine stepping into a tranquil space, laying down on a yoga mat, and allowing the soothing vibrations of the gong to wash over you. With an open heart and mind, you’ll be guided into a state of deep relaxation, as the powerful yet gentle sounds of the gong help you melt into the floor. The guided meditation at the very start of our session will be centered around the topic of New Beginnings. Spring is in full swing, the earth is re-awakening and we are dreaming about what the future may hold for us. The gong is a powerful instrument. Its rich tapestry of harmonics and hauntingly beautiful melodies can lower your brainwaves into a Theta state, promoting profound healing and inner peace. As the gong sings, you might experience vivid visuals, a deep sense of calm, or the emergence of long-forgotten emotions ready to be healed and integrated. There is no right or wrong way to feel during this experience. Each journey is unique and personal. Embrace whatever arises, knowing it’s part of your path to wellness and self-discovery. Space is limited to ensure an intimate and personalized experience, so I encourage you to book your spot early to avoid disappointment. Don’t miss this opportunity to nourish your soul and reconnect with your inner stillness. Cost: £28 for 1 hour - I cover the Eventbrite booking fee. All my love, Theresa x ## IMPORTANT BITS AND BOBS: The studio will provide yoga mats and bolsters. Please bring your own blanket and pillow/eye pillow for extra comfort. A bottle of water is also recommended. Body temperature tends to drop during a gong bath, so please dress comfortably, in layers. **Please arrive 5 minutes before the session begins and avoid being late, as late-comers cannot be admitted.** ## CONTRAINDICATIONS: Please be advised that by booking your ticket to this event, you are also in agreement that the session is safe for you and that you take full responsibility for your own health & well-being. Please have a read through the following contraindications BEFORE booking your ticket: Gong baths are not recommended for pregnancies in the first trimester, individuals with pacemakers/metal implants, epilepsy, or any form of a serious mental health condition. By purchasing your ticket, you confirm that you have read and understood these conditions. **Your facilitator:** Theresa holds transformative spaces across London and is a highly intuitive and at times melodramatic triple water sign. She is a mother to two young girls and spends her time chasing fairies in the park or baking cupcakes. She trained in many disciplines but sound healing and in particular the gong captured her heart. She sends gratitude to her teachers of Tone of Life and Leo Cosendai. By booking your spot, you also agree to be added to Theresa's newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Sunday Dungeons & Dragons Meetup
Sunday Dungeons & Dragons Meetup
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO TAKE PART? You just need to RSVP using the button on this page, and show up on Sunday. That is true for both DMs and players. You must be 18+ to attend. If this is your first time or looking to join a game, please find the Sunday Hosts Edward or Jason on your arrival. We will point you towards a game you can join. There is no charge, membership fee or subscription. However, a collection tin may be circulated by the Organiser/Assistant Organiser/Host towards the running of the Meetup. There is a recommended donation of £2 cash per attendee (DM or player), but contributions are purely voluntary: you are under no obligation. We do not track or record who donates what TIMES Please ensure you arrive between 12:30pm and 1.00pm. **If you arrive later than 1pm, it may not be possible to find you a game.** I'VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE, IS THAT A PROBLEM? Nope! You do not have to have previous experience of D&D or another tabletop role-playing game. We will have newbie-friendly games on Sunday. WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING? Nothing. If you have dice, paper and pencil, and a Player’s Handbook, then bring them, but it’s not a problem if you don’t. We can lend you everything you need including a pre-generated character. I'M NOT FROM THE UK, THAT ISN'T A PROBLEM, RIGHT? Actually, we have loads of members from other countries; at times, we’ve had more ex-pats than Brits. We get a lot of people joining who’ve just moved to London from another country, left their old D&D friends behind, and who are looking for a new gaming group, so you don’t need to worry about not fitting in. The one catch is that your English does need to be OK. You don't have to be perfectly fluent, but roleplaying’s a language-based activity and if your listening isn't decent you may have trouble following what’s going on. Lots of our members speak more than one language, but we can't guarantee that we can place you in a game with someone who can interpret for you. DUNGEON MASTERS We are always on the look-out for DMs. If you would like to run a game, please PM Edward_w or Jason Sia. HYGIENE & ANTI-COVID GUIDELINES If you are symptomatically ill or suspect/know you have caught covid in the last 10 days but are asymptomatic, please do NOT attend. Please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth and/or a face shield whenever possible. This is not a rule, merely a request. Please wash your hands and/or use hand sanitiser gel frequently. If you test positive for covid after attending an event, please contact Zander the Meetup Organiser, immediately. If possible, please let Zander know your Dungeon Master's name. **VENUES AND MONEY MATTERS** **The venues are businesses and, as such, rely on us spending on food and drink while we are there**. Our continued use of the venues is dependent upon it. Please spend as much as you reasonably can; if you are thinking of having lunch at your venue, please do. The venues have vegetarian and vegan options. Please do NOT bring drink from outside except tap water in a transparent plastic bottle. Please do NOT bring food from outside. Bringing food or drink (except tap water) from outside can result in you being permanently banned by the venue's management. Guide dogs are absolutely fine. Other dogs and pets may not be permitted subject to the discretion of the Pub Staff & Organisers. If you have any questions, please post it in the comments below or PM Edward_w or Jason, the Sunday Hosts.

Join **Daclaud** at **The Arcane Foundry** for an evening that introduces newcomers and enthusiasts alike to the timeless craft of **tabletop wargaming** and **miniature painting**. My own journey began with a fascination for fantasy — knights in armor, grim and hardened warriors, and monstrous creatures locked in epic battle. That passion led me to **Dungeons & Dragons**, where I painted my first **Basic Heroes set** and felt the spark that comes from bringing a character to life in miniature form. Not long after, I discovered **Warhammer Fantasy** and **Warhammer 40,000**, and I was hooked. The vision of vast armies clashing across the table — each unit meticulously painted, each story unfolding through dice and imagination — became my creative obsession. During this event, we’ll explore the **origins of wargaming**, from its early military simulations to the richly detailed worlds of modern tabletop battle systems. You’ll learn how to **build and customize your own armies**, paint your first figures, and experience the joy of turning strategy and storytelling into a hands-on art form. Whether you’re drawn by the lore, the hobby, or the thrill of commanding miniature legions, this introduction will open the gates to a world that has captivated hobbyists for generations. **🎨 RSVP today and join us at The Arcane Foundry — where every brushstroke and battle tells a story.**
