Join us every other Sunday for the Open Clown Workshop at The Comedy Clubhouse Barcelona. Whether you’re an experienced clown wanting to exercise your clowning muscles or a complete beginner full of curiosity this workshop is for you. Sessions will usually focus on one particular aspect of clown for example: bafflement, befriending uncertainty, staying curious, freedom in failure, connecting with your pleasure, finding the game, eye contact with the audience. Our usual workshop teachers are experienced clowns who perform regularly in Barcelona and around the world. They have either trained with the legendary clown master Philipe Gaulier; performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; organised their own cabaret shows; or have experience of developing clown numbers elsewhere. While every teacher has different strengths and exercises they’ll share, each workshop is designed to inspire you and help develop your skills as a comedic performer. This is a great place to meet new people, play games, have fun & learn new skills! The session lasts from 15.00 until 17:30 and it operates as a Pay What You Want workshop (suggested donation between 5 and 15 euros). It takes place at the Comedy Clubhouse on Via Laietana (be careful because there are two Comedy Clubhouses! It does not take place at the one on Carrer Canvis Nous!)

**The RPG School Initiative** a *beginner-focused* one-shot event series RPG School offers a beginner-focused, relaxed atmosphere to experience the joy of table-top roleplaying gaming for the first time. We will show you the ropes and dice, take you on a fun adventure and are prepared for all your questions. No prior experience with roleplaying or the system is needed. We will be playing Daggerheart, a new Fantasy RPG by Critical Role, using a world called Beast Feast: A bit absurd, certainly comedic, sometimes creepy, but always fun and silly. You will be playing with three to four other players at one table, the assignment happens during the event. We start each adventure with a short introduction, where you learn about the basics and pick your pre-made character. Afterwards we dive into a unique experience, explaining the rules and concepts while actually playing the game. At the end, we have time to talk and find connections as well as hear your thoughts and questions. All games are in English. The cost of participation is **8 Euro**, which you will pay at the entrance. Never played RPGs and always wanted to try? This is your event! **GAME MASTERS**: Philippe & Philippe **SYSTEM**: Daggerheart, using the Beast Feast campaign setting **DESCRIPTION**: For as long as anybody can remember, your village has been a safe haven. A powerful lure drew all the dangerous creatures in your forest down into caves beneath. Your community lived a simple life of peace for generations, only taking what you needed and leaving the lush but dangerous undergrounds to the monsters. But recently, the lure seems to have lost its allure. Monster sightings have grown and just last night, there was even an attack on your mayor, Doug Dougle! He survived but it was a shock for your community. You and your friends decide to tackle the problem yourselves. You arm yourself with a rolling pin, a fishing rod or whatever other odd tool you find. Packing only the essentials, you head out and turn west, to the well-known but shunned entrance to the legendary endless caves. What dangers and wonders will you encounter? What happened to the lure? And what will you eat on your journey? **TONE:** The tone of the setting and adventures will be absurd, comedic and lighthearted. Still, fighting somewhat creepy monsters will be part of the experience.
