Offener Leseabend
Offener Leseabend
## Wo & Wann? *Unfortunately at the moment, it's only possible to present German texts. Unpublished texts that are already translated into German are highly welcome!* ## Was erwartet Sie? Also – nicht gleich verschwinden! Dranbleiben. Lyrik: Welche Art lyrischer Text?)
PPT Karaoke: Presentation Roulette
PPT Karaoke: Presentation Roulette
Helloo to all lovers of randomness and awkward moments! Come hang out with us for a night that’s a little silly, a little chaotic, but a lot of fun. PPT Karaoke is simple: you present a deck of random slides you’ve never seen before. You’ll be figuring it out as you go—and that’s exactly the point. No prep, no pressure, and definitely no boring quarterly charts. It’s a great way to try something new, laugh at yourself a bit, and maybe get a little more comfortable speaking in front of people. You can present… or not. Sign up if you’re feeling brave, or just grab a drink and enjoy the chaos from the audience. **What it is like** * People making things up on the spot * Moments that are unexpectedly funny (or *weirdly brilliant*) * A relaxed, supportive crowd that’s laughing with you **How it works** * We write your name at the entrance if you want to present * We draw random names to choose a presenter during the event * Get a completely random slide deck * Go for it—funny, serious, or totally nonsensical **Why You Should Come** * Try something new without pressure * Laugh a lot (at yourself and with others) * Take a break from taking things too seriously * Meet nice, low-key people who also have no idea what’s on Slide 4. * Experience Level: **None**. Really. If you can point at a screen and say words, you’re overqualified. **The vibe** Warm, welcoming, and zero judgment. We’re all just figuring it out together. If this sounds like your kind of fun, come join us 🙂 Spots are limited at the place—First-come, first-served!

We just celebrated the successful restart of our event series in Cologne with over 100 participants, and we cannot wait to dive deep into the Berlin product builders community. Look forward to leading professionals from product, engineering, and UX/design, sharing their best practices and discussing trends and topics with you the community. We are still early in our planning, but expect the first speaker announcements soon. Join us for an evening of networking, fueled by drinks and bites – just bring your ideas and your colleagues! **Schedule** 06:30 PM - Doors open 07:00 PM - Welcome by Christoph Bresler, Founder of Digitale Leute School 07:05 PM - Welcome by SAP & Moderation by Thomas Riedel 07:10 PM - DL Interview: **Mareike Dorra**, Head of Product Management Bootcamps at Digitale Leute School (ex-Zalando) will interview **Jan Hegewald**, VP Engineering at Rabot Energy (ex-SumUp, -Zalando, -Idealo) about the rise of Product Engineering. AI is changing how software is built. In this conversation, Mareike Dorra and Jan Hegewald explore why the focus is shifting from software development to product development—and how engineers, through product thinking, new tools, and closer collaboration with product managers, are evolving into “product engineers.” 07:40 PM - Questions & Answers 08:00 PM - Networking 08:55 PM - Wrap up of the meetup **Good to know** In addition to our meetup, we bring together over 1,000 product builders in Cologne every November at our international software product development conference, the Digitale Leute Summit. Speakers in 2026 include representatives from Atlassian, Google DeepMind, Zendesk, sevdesk, and many more. You can find more information here: [Digitale Leute Summit 2026](https://www.digitale-leute.de/summit/26/ "https://www.digitale-leute.de/summit/26/") **About Digitale Leute** Digitale Leute has always been about one thing: bringing together the people who shape digital products. The thinkers, the builders, the ones who care deeply about how technology is made and why it matters. Over the years, our community has grown – but we’ve missed the magic that only happens when you’re in the same room, sharing ideas, swapping stories, and sparking conversations that no Slack channel can replicate. So we decided: it’s time to bring our meetups back. **About SAP in Berlin** Located in the heart of European innovation, [SAP in Berlin](https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html "https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html") combines the power of a global company with the strength of a unique local ecosystem – we attract talent, shape SAP‘s image as a front-runner of innovation, and foster our position as market leader for enterprise application software in Berlin. Our location in Berlin offers a perfect meeting point for innovators and decision makers, while we stay on top of software trends and technologies to define their value for business and society.
The Digital Delusion – Is Technology Making Our Children Less Capable?
The Digital Delusion – Is Technology Making Our Children Less Capable?
**For those who read the book and those who haven't yet – both are welcome.** *"Our children are less cognitively capable than we were at their age."* That's the opening claim of [The Digital Delusion](https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/244813958-the-digital-delusion) by neuroscientist and educator Dr. Jared Cooney Horvath backed by a synthesis of over 21,000 studies. What does it mean? For most of the 20th century, IQ scores rose with each generation ([the well-documented Flynn effect](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flynn_effect)). Around the year 2000, that trend reversed across much of the Western world. In countries where traditional schooling remained largely intact, it didn't. We were told that classroom technology, worth $ 400 billion, is the future of education, but Horvath argues it is not. At the same time, [Salman Khan](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/196848520-brave-new-words?ref=nav_sb_ss_1_10) – founder of Khan Academy – believes AI could be the great equaliser in education: a personal tutor for every child, regardless of background. Both can't be entirely right. Which parts of each argument will prove to be true? This June, Human Future Hub brings together humans interested in education, technology, parenting, policy-making and curious minds to explore one of the most consequential and least settled debates of our time: **what is digital technology actually adding to how we learn?** We'll present the key ideas from both books, so you don't need to have read them to join the conversation, but it would be great if you do. Come with your questions, your experience, and your honest opinion. 📅 Saturday, 6 June 2026 📍 Location to be revealed 🎟 Find out more about **Human Future Hub** at: [humanfuturehub.org](http://humanfuturehub.org)
Meetup #13 — Money + taxes
Meetup #13 — Money + taxes
The state deals with a lot of money. People and organisations need to declare, file, and pay taxes or receive returns if they overpaid the state. Tax contributions amount to billions of euros, funding public goods such as infrastructure, education, social welfare, and defence. In the 13th edition of our meetup series, we take a closer look at research and design in public finance and taxation, exploring diverse perspectives from 3 speakers. The evening aims to spark a discussion about the government’s or the state’s role, and how it can be accommodating to citizens, residents, and business owners. We will hear from: * Manuel Großmann (Taxfix) * Merici Vinton (formerly US Digital Service) * Sonja Wilczek (DigitalService des Bundes) The federal government’s DigitalService is hosting the meetup on the mezzanine floor of its Kreuzberg office. All presentations will be given in English. Questions in the later discussion part can be raised in either English or German. The event is jointly organised and hosted by CityLAB Berlin and DigitalService.
How is AI changing our work?
How is AI changing our work?
**This event is taking place online.** You have probably tried AI. Maybe you use it quietly. Maybe you opened it, stared at the blank prompt, and closed the tab. Maybe you are not sure where to start, or why it still feels harder than it should. Welcome to our community! 17:00 — An intro: Why are we here? 17:15 — What research and data shows us about how AI impacts work 17:30 — Where are you right now, what have you tried, what is in your way? 17:45 — What comes next: shaping the next session together This is the first meetup in a series. We will learn from each other, explore AI at work, and eventually dive into the tools together — because the best way to loosen the fear is to do it in good company. Living Tantra explores Heart-opening - expand your capacity for love
Living Tantra explores Heart-opening - expand your capacity for love
A nourishing space for self-reflection and growth. Explore the principles of Tantra through direct experience and **welcome a more liberated version of yourself.** Living Tantra is a workshop series created for those who wish to deepen their exploration of Tantra. Inspired by ancient Tantric philosophy, each gathering takes us into a new theme through embodiment, meditation, energy practices and more. These sessions are for anyone who’s curious about **Tantra as a path for healing, expansion and connection.** Whether you are looking for an opportunity to explore yourself in a deeper way, to connect authentically with others, to find wholesome nourishment or, to be inspired; this Living Tantra workshop series provides a regular moment of connection with yourself, with others and with the teachings of Tantra. **💓**This time, we’ll explore the opening of the Heart as the main practice of modern and classical Tantra. The heart is the core of your being. It is through the heart that you connect with yourself, others and divinity. When your heart is open, you invite in spirit, love and the experience of oneness. When it is closed, you’ll experience disconnection and separation. Tantra teaches you to notice the subtle shifts between an open and a closed heart - inviting you to bring in presence, breath and compassion to the moments when you shut down, so you can gently open again. An open heart does not make you vulnerable but rather holds the alchemy to transform suffering into love - your own, and that of those around us. Come explore the practice of heart opening. Experience the power it holds and tap into the universal heart! **In this edition of Living Tantra, you will be invited to:** 🔸Explore the practice of heart-opening 🔸Experience the power of an open-heart 🔸Discover how heart-opening is at the core of spiritual practice **What to expect** 🔹Introduction to the role of heart-opening within Tantra 🔹Warm up, get to know the group, practice setting boundaries, agreement on consent 🔹Curated heart-centred journey designed to guide you deeper 🔹Well balanced program with solo-, partner- and group practices 🔹New practices (for those that have been to my other formats) 🔹Explore and experience heart-opening 🔹Conscious non-sexual touch (if this is within your consent) 🔹A cosy and comfortable studio 🔹A short break to have a meal or snack (bring yourself) **Expected benefits** These journeys offer a space for self-reflection and growth. The growth that happens in this space allows for a more liberated sense of self outside of the space. You are likely to emerge with a renewed sense of connection and peace. **Good to know** * The entire journey is clothed * Maximum 16 participants **What to bring** * Comfortable clothing * Water bottle * Meal or snack **Tickets: 85€** [Please book your spot here.](https://www.sophieheldens.com/calendar/tantra-events-berlin/living-tantra-workshops-heart-opening?utm_source=meetup&utm_campaign=livingtantraheart) **📍** **Praxis Köpi** Köpenicker Straße 175 10997 Berlin Kreuzberg Walk to the second courtyard and take the stairs to the front door on the left **Please note:** Praxis Köpi is located on the 5th floor and there is no elevator available. Only book a ticket if you can walk the stairs. The benefit: a beautiful private studio with loads of natural light. **!! Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time !!** Once we start the session, I can’t let you in anymore because it disturbs the class. Please do yourself and the group a favour by coming on time. Thank you! **About the facilitator** Hi! My name is Sophie. My passion for Tantra is rooted in a deep spiritual yearning and an inner knowing that Tantra is my path. My desire to teach Tantra has been sparked by having witnessed my own growth and healing as a result of these practices and it is inspired by a vision to create a more beautiful world. I create a space that is loving and nurturing, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that you feel save and supported. My workshops are gentle yet transformative, spiritual yet grounded and always heart-centered. I'm passionate about bridging the wisdom of ancient Tantra with modern-day practices. For more information, feel free to visit my website: [www.sophieheldens.com](http://www.sophieheldens.com) **Upcoming themes & dates** **💓 06.06**. Heart-opening: expand your capacity for love 🌹**29.08** Sensuality: awaken your ecstatic self *(stay tuned for other themes: Love, Consciousness, Non-Duality, Desire)* *PS. despite seemingly low attendance on Meetup, these events always take place with sufficient participants unless communicated differently*
Agent Gateway Deep Dive with Christian Posta
Agent Gateway Deep Dive with Christian Posta
From APIs to Agents: Control, Identity, and What Breaks Along the Way Most of what we've built over the last \~15–20 years assumes a static frame of reference: Apps talk to services over APIs. You know who's calling what, you can stick a gateway in front of it, apply some policy, and move on. Agents don't really fit that model. They don't just call an API and return. They decide what to do, call a tool, look at the result, call something else, maybe involve another agent, loop through an LLM a few times… all the while, doing onbehalf of the user, with permissions that aren't always obvious. It's not always clear who is actually doing something. It's not obvious what the full execution path looks like. And the access control models we're used to — user → service, service → service fall part. We'll dig into what actually breaks when you start wiring agents into real systems, especially around identity and access control. Things like: \- how \(or if\) you assign identity to an agent \- what it means for an agent to act "on behalf of" someone \- how you enforce policy when the flow isn't predefined \- and how you get any kind of visibility into what just happened We'll also look at some of the patterns starting to emerge: agents talking to other agents, tools being invoked dynamically, and why a mediation layer (ie, agentgateway) must be built from the ground up with this in mind. \-\-\-\-\-\- Speaker \-\-\-\-\-\- Christian Posta (Solo.io) Christian is a globally recognized expert in cloud-native architecture, service mesh, and distributed systems. As Global Field CTO at Solo.io, he works with enterprises to design and implement next-generation platforms—and is now at the forefront of AI-native infrastructure and agent systems. \-\-\-\-\-\- Who should attend? \-\-\-\-\-\- This meetup is for people who are building or thinking about the next generation of enterprise systems: Platform engineers and architects, Cloud-native practitioners, AI engineers working with agents and LLMs, Anyone exploring how AI changes system design \-\-\-\-\-\- How to join \-\-\-\-\-\-\- This time, the meetup will be in the premises of Riverty in Kantstrasse 17, Berlin (4th Floor of Living Berlin mall). Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. We look forward to having you join us! This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
**The Behavior Gap: Where Products Win or Lose** Teams today have more data than ever, and yet many still struggle to understand why customers adopt, engage with, or abandon their products. Teams sprint, ship faster, and chase more signals… all while metrics stall and confidence drops. The missing piece isn’t more data. It’s often the behavioral insight between the metrics, explaining why the numbers move in the first place. Dashboards can tell you what customers did, but understanding why they did it (and how to influence what they do next) requires a deeper blend of insights. This session is about closing that gap. Drawing from real-world experience designing and scaling products as [ZoCo Design](https://zocodesign.com/)’s CEO, [Lacey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) will share how to cut through the noise and identify the insights that actually change behavior—moving people, and moving metrics. You’ll learn: * Why understanding customer behavior is a quant and qual challenge * How to spot the signals that actually predict behavior change * Where AI accelerates insight, and where it creates distraction * How to get meaningfully closer to customers, without adding more tools This talk reframes how to evaluate performance and identify what levers actually improve it, helping your team to make smarter bets with greater confidence. Every meaningful outcome is driven by behavior change. And when you know how to design for behavior, you stop guessing, and start building things that work. **About Our Speaker** [Lacey Picazo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) is the Founder and CEO of ZoCo, a healthcare product studio that turns complex, high-stakes ideas into products that drive real-world adoption. She partners with healthcare organizations to uncover critical care delivery insights, focus product strategy through behavior design, and build solutions that patients and providers actually use.
