DETAILS The session is Monday 6.30PM till 9.55PM. All 4 courts will be available for games. Players are requested to finish the games by 9.50PM and leave the premises by 9.55PM. This session was previously for all levels however we have now changed this to a non beginner session. We pride our sessions that everyone plays with everyone to keep it a friendly and fun session. We also understand that there is a need for being competitive and we welcome that also. Payment: £14 per session. We are accepting bank transfers rather than cash payments. RSVP Rules: 2 Day Policy We shall be adhering to the 2 day rule which consists of confirming your spot by paying for the session 2 days in advance. If you do not pay before the 2 day deadline you will be moved to the Not Going session and the next person on the waiting list will have 1 day to confirm and pay for the session or they will be moved to the Not Going list and so on. Cancellation If you have to cancel on the day please note there won’t be a refund for the session so try and get someone to cover your RSVP and please message to inform us so we are aware. Important information: Notes to be aware of that when warming up please don't use the game shuttle and please return the old shuttle for the new shuttle. Parking is available for free onsite There is a water fountain so please bring a bottle to fill up. If you have any questions please contact us. Photographs / Videos As a club from time to time we post clips, pictures on social media to promote the club. We are also aware that players would like to video themselves to analyse their games. We play from 7:45PM to 9:45PM - 4 Courts - Beginners are most welcome. We play with Yonex Mavis 300 plastics - not feathers For clothing, any combination of T-shirts, shorts, tracksuits etc. Recommend you bring a large bottle of water Although we start at 7:45pm, some people arrive at any time up to 8.30. Our numbers vary from week to week, but we average to around 23 - which works very well. Payment of £7 after you have returned home, and by transfer to bank account (details masked) Directions - proceed to Ashburton Library on Shirley Road, and go down the private road to the right of the Library. And you will find on your left an entrance to the building that is marked Sports Centre/Reception. Free car parking is available adjacent to the Sports Centre, and more spaces if you continue along the private road. Transport options - Rail to East Croydon Station, and then 367 Bus. Alternatively Tram to Blackhorse Lane or Woodside Tram stops On entry go to the far end, turn right through the door marked Sports Hall and continue through the lobby and to the four Badminton Courts. This session is coached and uses the fundamental skills for age groups from 6 years old up 16 years old to grasp footwork, Racket skills to name the core. All levels are welcome. Please bring your racket with you however if you don't have your own racket please let us know ahead of time. We also ask that all players to wear appropriate sports clothing.
