About
What does it truly mean to give â and what does it mean to take?
Most couples believe intimacy grows through giving. More care. More effort. More pleasing. But genuine connection often deepens somewhere else: in the willingness to receive, and in the courage to take what you actually want.
This workshop is for those who wish to deepen intimacy and explore desires with curiosity, mutual care, and a sense of play. Through playful experiential exercises, we will investigate how desire moves between partners: how it is offered, received, claimed, resisted, and sometimes withheld.
Why this matters
You can give endlessly and still feel unseen. You can be generous and still feel disconnected. Giving is familiar. Receiving asks more of us. Taking â even when fully consensual â can feel more confronting still.
Many of us soften compliments, deflect pleasure, smile and say thank you while our body stays closed. And when it comes to claiming what we want, shame often whispers: is that too much? These quiet patterns dilute intimacy over time. They make connection polite when it could be electric.
A framework for desire
Using a simple and accessible framework inspired by the Wheel of Consent, we'll look at the different qualities of giving and taking â fluid experiences that can shift from moment to moment, rather than fixed roles. You'll be invited to notice what genuinely feels nourishing, what feels performative or habitual, and where your own edges lie.
Together we will explore:
How to receive touch, attention, and pleasure without shrinking
Why receiving can feel more vulnerable than giving
The often-overlooked pleasure of taking
The difference between surrender and silent tolerance
How to communicate desires and boundaries with clarity and ease
Through guided exercises, reflection, and playful interaction, you'll gain practical tools for expressing your desires and boundaries with greater confidence and nuance. The focus is on cultivating presence, trust, and emotional precision â the foundations of truly satisfying play.
What you'll take with you
A clearer sense of your own desires. More confidence in expressing what you want. More ease in receiving from your partner. And renewed trust in taking what is freely offered.
The Experts
Alexander Ma is a researcher, philosopher, and kink educator exploring presence, impact, and power through consensual BDSM practices. His work is informed by his background in Japanese martial arts (Aikido) and his studies in Kinbaku. He holds a PhD and is the founder and editor-in-chief of Kinbaku Society of Berlin magazine.
Natasha NawaTaNeko is a kink educator and somatic practitioner exploring embodiment, surrender, and intimacy through rope and BDSM. She is the author of Somatics for Rope Bottoms and teaches internationally, focusing on awareness, consent, and polarity in intimate relationships.
Dress Code

Yes. This class is designed for beginners with no previous experience. All you need is openness, clear communication with your partner, and a willingness to learn.
Is there a changing room?
Yes. You can change in one of the two bathrooms or in a designated changing room next to the workshop space.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there's paid street parking directly outside and on the smaller crossing streets nearby. Finding a spot might take some time, so please arrive in good time if you're coming by car. The venue is easily accessible via U8 to SchĂśnleinstraĂe (5 min walk), U7 to SĂźdstern (10 min walk), or the M41 bus to GraefestraĂe.

**Our relationship with our mother is one of the most formative and sometimes one of the most complicated connections in our lives.** Even as adults, its impact can show up in our self-worth, our relationships, our boundaries, and the way we move through the world.

This womenâs coaching circle is a safe and compassionate space to gently explore the layers of a difficult mother relationship. Together, we will look at the emotional patterns, unmet needs, and inner wounds that may still be influencing your present life.
**Through guided reflection, sharing, and mindful practices, you will be supported to:**
* understand how your mother relationship has shaped you
* bring awareness to repeating emotional patterns
* reconnect with your own needs, feelings, and inner truth

These vinyasa classes are positively dynamic, soft and strong as silk, always connecting to the deep, guiding you gently to the awareness of your breath to calm the mind and release the body of unnecessary tension.
Modifications of the poses are offered to better suit each practitioner, from experienced beginners to advanced. Taping into a background of cultural diversity, dance and massage therapy, these sessions are a holistic practice with asanas, free form movement, music, voice, and silence.
Each month the classes have a specific focus (i.e. twists, balance, resilience, chakras) to effectively process and develop the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Pelvic Floor Reset â Workshop for Women
If you feel disconnected from your body, experience tension, or deal with symptoms that no one really explains â this workshop is for you.
This session is designed ***for women*** who:
â experience pain or discomfort during intimacy
â notice leakage when coughing, sneezing, or exercising
â feel tightness in the chest, hips, or lower body
â struggle to feel or activate their core and pelvic floor
â feel constant tension and donât know how to release it
These are more common than you think â and theyâre not something you just have to live with.
**What we will do:**
This is not a typical workout.
We will use slow, mindful techniques to reconnect you with your body and rebuild that lost connection step by step.
During the workshop, you will:
â learn how to breathe properly and understand where your breath should go
â work on rib mobility and learn how to âclose the ribsâ and support your core
â reconnect your breath with your pelvic floor
â explore how to feel your pelvic floor in movement
â learn how to relax, stretch, and also gently activate these muscles

Preventive healing: You will learn to remove the negative energetic patterns of a disease to prevent it from fully manifesting as a physical ailment.
Self-Pranic healing: You will learn to apply these healing techniques to accelerate your own healing.
Step-by-step techniques for ailments related to your:
respiratory system, e.g., asthma,; circulatory system, e.g., heart ailments; gastrointestinal system, e.g., irritable bowel syndrome; musculoskeletal system, e.g., arthritis and back pain; reproductive system, e.g., menstrual problems. You'll also learn how to address common problems as migraines and sinusitis.
Additionally, you'll learn to apply distant healing to loved ones who are not present in the room with you.
All PRANIC HEALINGÂŽ courses are "experiential," which means that you learn by actually performing the techniques and exercises in class - on yourself and those around you. During class, all the principles will be explained thoroughly and you will practice the techniques exhaustively so you will be confident in your ability to produce positive results when you finish the course.

COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 â 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track
⢠Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell).
⢠Show up and try it out.

Normal process
⢠Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
⢠Attend orientation in advance.
⢠At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
⢠Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
⢠Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
