Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow moments… It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment. Important – Please be on time. Join the dinner hang-out this coming Friday, we are going to be in central Berlin (Berlin MItte), a short distance from Hackescher Markt S-Bahn station. We are going to a nice restaurant called Heimwerk, where they offer German/central European food (inclusive simple foods like french fries and burgers, as well as options for vegetarians). They enable you to do different combinations for your meal, and also offer small portion ("snack" type) meals but please note that these are really tiny sized. We will have a nice sitting area reserved for us. In case of interest for a further venue after the dinner, you can ask the event host for some tips. Another June event! As I search for a new regular venue, we will be hopping around Berlin's black-owned venues and cool events this summer! So... Let's join this official Fete de la Musique event. Please join Columbus Tea Lovers for a tasting of loose leaf teas at a private residence in Worthington. (The address will be sent out via private Meetup message a day ahead to those who have RSVP'd.) June 20th is the Worthington Arts Festival so feel free to attend that event which is down the street in addition to the tea party. For this tasting please bring a tea or tisane (an herbal brew that contains no tea leaves) does not come in a prepackaged tea bag. You can feel free to bring it pre-brewed in a carafe or thermos; please leave out the milk and sweetener as we will have some on hand to mix and match. We will have the kettle on and fillable single serve disposable tea bags if you would like to bring the tea leaves unbrewed and extra tea cups on hand as well. We welcome you to bring snacks or desserts that are you enjoy pairing with tea. You can bring a chair if the day is nice in case we sit outside.
