Muraqaba - méditation soufie silencieuse
La muraqaba est une mĂ©ditation soufie silencieuse qui aide Ă purifier le cĆur, Ă apaiser lâego et Ă dĂ©velopper une perception plus subtile de la RĂ©alitĂ©. Câest une pratique douce et accessible Ă tous, sans besoin dâexpĂ©rience prĂ©alable.
**COMMENT PRATIQUER**
La méthode est simple :
âą Sâasseoir confortablement,
âą Fermer les yeux,
âą Formuler intĂ©rieurement lâintention de la muraqaba, tout en tournant son attention vers son cĆur,
⹠Rester ainsi en silence pendant 40 minutes, en restant tourné vers son intériorité.
**COMMENT COMMENCER**
Nous dispensons des séances d'introduction à notre méthode de méditation en présentiel et sur zoom. Pour en bénéficier, il suffit d'envoyer un email à international@sufischool.org (sur zoom) ou à france@sufischool.org (en présentiel).
**LIEU ET HORAIRES**
Les méditations en présentiel ont lieu les 2Úme et 4Úme mercredis de chaque mois, de 19h30 à 21h15, dans le 14e arrondissement. Les prochaines séances de méditation auront lieu les mercredis 14 et 28 janvier 2026.
Chaque séance est guidée dans un cadre bienveillant, et ouverte à toutes celles et ceux qui cherchent à approfondir leur chemin spirituel. Tous nos enseignements ainsi que nos séances de méditation sont offerts gratuitement.

You will find us at the basement. Be careful, the reception is not very good. We may not be able to answer you.
Please bring your own materials (drawing pad, pens, pencils) if possible.
We announce two themes for each session. This is just to give a start point for inspiration âš, if needed. However, you are totally free to draw whatever you would like to, no need to follow them if do not want to. đ

**Step into the laid-back charm of Cosy Cave Conversations**, a Parisian philosophy chat that's more relaxed than a cat in a sunbeam đ đ Gather with a bunch of easygoing souls, share thoughts on the good life and its mysteries, enjoy a beverage, and have a good laugh.
A few things to be aware of:
* **Please** **don't show up without a spot** (we aim to keep it cosy and we always have a waiting list these days â check if youâre on the list or the waiting list)
* If it's your first event, it's essential you **turn up early, or at the latest on time (<7pm)** so you understand how it works, what the topic is and don't interrupt the session
* The **session runs from 7pm to 8:30pm** where we focus on the discussion, but don't worry, you'll have a chance to socialise, introduce yourselves and continue the chat after the session.
**If youâre running late** (the curtains are closed), thatâs okay, but please wait to join us in the break rather than interrupting the session.
* Please read the **tips below** for a good session before coming along
**How does it work?** We embrace the cafĂ©-philo method â proposing intriguing topics on the night (up to 3), choosing one together, and diving into everything from consciousness, community, death and god, while managing to keep it light and easy đŠŠ
**Forget the stiff atmosphere**, we're all about small groups (\~10 people) and unpretentious chats with no homework required. No need for a philosophy degree, just bring your open mind and a dash of curiosity.

Sans mĂȘme nous en apercevoir,
nous sommes souvent guidées par des automatismes de défense, comme l' évitement, le figement, l'attaque, la préoccupation de faire plaisir, la culpabilité toxique et ses multiples expressions, etc.
Des réflexes anciens qui ne sont plus la réponse adaptée à la vie, mais qui semblent nous conduire, malgré nous.
Notre unicité se replie,
notre expression se filtre,
et notre vie devient plus petite que ce que nous portons réellement.
Le breathwork agit comme un espace de permission accordĂ©e, oĂč le corps peut enfin relĂącher ces mĂ©moires,
oĂč le systĂšme nerveux peut retrouver de la sĂ©curitĂ©,
et oĂč, doucement,
ce qui était retenu peut recommencer à circuler.
Le systÚme nerveux ne fait pas la différence
entre un danger rĂ©elâŠ
et une blessure ancienne qui se réactive.
Une situation ordinaire qui active une ancienne mémoire, et sans s'en apercevoir le corps bascule en mode survie :
fuite, lutte, figement.
Cela arrive Ă chacun de nous.
Non pas parce que quelque chose ne va pas â
mais parce que notre systÚme a appris à nous protéger ainsi.

Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donât just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
