Let's Meet Up and Practice Languages
(Inside event) Are you learning a language but can't find people to practice with? Do you enjoy helping people speak your native language? If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations.
We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make.
At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Dutch. Can you help us make this list bigger? We hope to see you there and welcome ANY and ALL languages. (However, we cannot guarantee we will have a speaking partner for all languages).
Looking forward to see you all! đ

**HOST:**
**Ben MacLean**
Ben MacLean has over 30 million views online and is one of Berlinâs most established comedians. A long-time member of BLF e.V â Berlin Leather Fetish, he has hosted the FETISH COMEDY SHOW since it burst onto the scene in 2016.
He also emcees Go West Comedy, one of the cityâs longest-running showcases, and has performed around the globe. The worldâs only diplomat turned comedian, he also works as a flight attendant and content creator. All this to say, If you recognize Ben from some of his ânon-comedyâ content online, thatâs something heâll neither confirm nor deny.
**HEADLINER:**
**Cameryn Moore**
Cameryn is an award-winning playwright, performer, storyteller, and founder/host of Smut Slam, a global network of community dirty-storytelling events (including Smut Slam Berlin). As a former phone sex operator, Cameryn combines a comforting matter-of-factness with lightning-fast reflexes and a mind so open that you could run two Pride parades in it side by side. One 5-star review said she had "a Yankee accent that could strip paint," but some people apparently like that sort of thing.
**GUEST:**
**Konstantinos**
Konstantinos led a happy life in the sunny and green Greek mountains until he had the brilliant idea of moving to Berlin in 2011. The city made him embrace his queerness and discover the vibrant nightlife, and a sequence of difficult lovers and dating fails convinced him to start a career in stand-up comedy. Since then he has been a prominent member of Berlin's English-speaking queer comedy scene, hosting his own show as well as performing internationally in Greece and Switzerland.
Please note that the lineup for this show may change due to unforeseen circumstances, however we always promise high-quality sexy comedy.

Respect and Safety:
There is always at least one organizer present at every meetup. If you ever feel unsafe or bothered by someoneâs behavior, you can reach out to an organizer privately. Your identity will remain confidential, your concern will be taken seriously, and no inappropriate behavior is tolerated â anyone making others feel uncomfortable will be removed from the group immediately.
We hope to see you there. Bring yourself, your smile, drawing materials, your storiesâor just your comfy self.
Letâs make Saturday a little more laid-back, a little more social and a lot more nice.
See you soon!

0.1% Accurate- English Comedy Night
**Step right up for a fortune-telling experience that's barely accurate, but definitely unforgettable.**
Magdalena, the "fortune teller", combines a crystal ball, questionable predictions and a healthy dose of dark humour in a show that's as absurd as it is entertaining.
Described by the 'Scotsman' (top newspaper in the UK) as 'unexpected, clever, ridiculous but great stuff, crystal ball and all', this interactive comedy has left audiences worldwide laughing and wondering what just happened.
Some say it's life-changing, others call it pure nonsense-but no one escapes without a few laughs, some spirit summoning and answers you probably didn't want.
**Sold out run in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025**
Reserve your seat for just âŹ2, and at the end of the show, you decide what it was worth (suggested contribution: âŹ10-15). Reservations are held until 10 minutes before the show starts. This is a paid showâyou just get to choose how much to pay.

Silent Reading Club
Ditch the old book club, where everyone has to read the same book...this is better!
It works like this: Bring your own book. Come chat, have some tea or coffee, get to know your neighbors. Then we quietly read together, side by side, for about one hour, each one reading their own book, and afterwards we talk with each other about what we are reading.
The usual agenda:
- Arrival and introduction (~20 minutes)
- â Silent reading (~1 hour)
- â Discussion (~30-40 minutes)
- â Join us for a bite at a local restaurant afterwards, if you like!
You may read in any language, you may read any book. We are a group of international residents of Berlin from many different countries, of all ages, and we converse in English. We welcome you!
No registration needed â the event is donation based. All funds support the Offenes Wohnzimmer.
I WRITE â A Silent Writing Club (Just You & Your Words)
Welcome to **I WRITE**, a gentle space for anyone who wants to writeâquietly, freely, and without judgement.
We are a Berlin community of writers who gather together weekly to write, talk and recharge after a long week. Some of us journal, some write novels, some do academic writing, many people come without a project in mind and see where the inspiration flow takes them. This is a space to simply show up and write, a safe place to be yourself and to release all your layers onto the paper.
Thereâs no set topic, no feedback circle, and no pressure. Just warm people, a calm atmosphere, and time dedicated to yourself.
đïž **Agenda:**
* 14:30 - 15:00 **â** 30 min arriving, optional socialising (arrive early, meet other writers)
* 15:00 - 16:00 **â** 1 hour of silent writing (headphones welcome, focus encouraged)
* 16:00â16:30 **â** 30 mins break + optional chat or solo time (stay and chat or go celebrate the rest of your Saturday)
* 16:30â17:30 â 1 more hour of silent writing (for those staying)
* 17:30â18:00 â 30 mins of chat, and leaving
đ **Bring:**
* Something to write with (laptop, notebook, phone, typewriter⊠anything goes)
* Something to drink (there is no cafeteria, unfortunately)
* Your current project or a blank page
* Yourself, exactly as you are
**đ Responsibility:**
* Our location is limited; thus, I am kindly asking you to RSVP only if you are willing to attend.
**đLocation:**

* đ M45 Bus **U Richard-Wagner-Platz**
**About me:**
Hi, my name is Anastasia. I started this writing club back in May 2025. Since then, it has been hosted weekly at the Heinrich Schulz Library (who is kind enough to allow us to use this room for free). Over this time, Iâve been privileged to meet some of the most creative and kind minds in Berlin. And I would be happy if you joined us. Whether you're an experienced writer or just at the beginning of your journey, you're welcome. If you know how to hold a pen or how to type, there will always be a space for you.
Let's write together!

Pot Luck in the Park!
Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other.
Please bring a dish to share and anything you would like to drink.
We will provide plates, plastic silverware and napkins.
So, come hungry and ready to chat!
Note: Since the weather is unpredictable in April, we have a couple of places in mind for the Pot Luck. We have reserved a room in the Dublin Library from 1-2:30 PM for the meal, if necessary. \* But if the weather is nice on April 12th, we are planning to meet in Bridge Park, possibly in the covered shelter area at 12:00 Noon. We will update the details closer to the date of the Pot Luck but wanted to get this out to everyone so that you can make plans for that day.
American Sign Language Beginners Meetup Group
We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able!
Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
Conversacion en español (en persona)
While some are still meeting online, this is an in person event. Please note that we have attendees of all levels of speaking, including some native speakers. All are welcome!
Also, as we meet at the same time and place each week, many donât RSVP on the app, so we will likely have more attendees than noted here.
Note: if you are asked to pay and upgrade the Meetup app, this is not necessary. You can ignore this and still attend our meetings.
IxDA Chat ân Pancakes
Pay attention! Weâre delaying a week for those of you who may be on Spring break and/or celebrating the holiday. Ok, no pancakes, but waffles-a-plenty.
Join the local UX and Digital Design community for a casual monthly breakfast.
Look for us upstairs!
