Come join us for a taste of Korean, Japanese & Chinese cuisine at Tilly's Kitchen in Chantilly, where we get together for some dinner and play some board games until closing time. I’ll be providing with some games that we can play, but you can also BYOBG (Bring Your Own Board Games). This will be a smaller event, due to the small capacity. Come out to a evening filled with fun board games at Aslin Beer Company in Herndon! We play a variety of games, including strategy, co-op, and party games! Always welcoming to people who are brand new to the hobby to those who have been playing for years! We will be meeting in the Izzi building (not the main taproom), as there is more table space there and is right next to where you can get food and drinks! There isn't a hard cap on attendees per say, but we would prefer that you sign up in advance so we have a rough head count as to whom to expect! Can't wait to see you all there!

New players are always welcome to come try it out! What you need: A bathing suit. Preferably something light and tight. We have extra gear for new players. But if you have your own pair of flippers, a snorkeling mask, and a snorkel then bring them along. You can ask them for help finding the pool. If no one is at the front desk just walk past it and there will be a set of stairs on the left. Take the stairs and take a right at the bottom of the stairs. The men's and women's locker rooms are straight ahead, and you will need to go through them to access the pool deck. Once you are out on the pool deck you will be exactly where we practice. Agenda: First 15 minutes: Arrival at the pool, getting gear from the shared gear bin, dividing into two teams, getting gear on. Minutes 15-30: Getting in the water, teaching any new players the basics Minutes 20-70: Scrimmage/practice. Minutes 70-75: Putting away club gear, putting the lane lines back in place, clearing the pool deck. (optional) afterwards: Go to a local restaurant for food, drinks, and socializing.

You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own coloring supplies but, if you don't have any, I will have plenty and am happy to share! (coloring books, colored pencils, and markers). Part of the mission of this group is to provide us an opportunity to check out AND SUPPORT local businesses. Bruce in the USA is playing at Reston Station Plaza to celebrate the 250th anniversary if the USA! There will be Epic Fireworks after the show! Because this group is so popular, let's grab some space at 5:30! Bring chairs so you don't have to stand the whole time. The group starts at 7:00.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to their music, this tribute promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of dancing. Don't miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary celebration of ABBA from some of New York’s finest!! Lets get there at 6:30 to grab space on the plaza. The band plays from 7:30 - 9:00. Bring a chair to take a break from all the dancing we will do! Park in the ParkX lot. You will have to take a ticket but the event event organizers will hand out chaser tickets to make the parking free.

Our inaugural event was small but successful, so we'll be doing it again--this time with more notice. Once again, the event will be held in my apartment building, The Edmund, which is located directly above the Wegmans in Reston. Wegmans offers free parking, so park there and walk around the building to the lobby of the apartment complex, where I'll greet everyone and bring us all up to the fourth floor. (The elevator is access controlled, so we'll go up together.) Just bring a bottle of wine and however many cups you want to use to sample everyone else's wines. (There's a sink to wash out the cups.) Also, Meetup charges organizers (meaning me) $180 every six months, so please bring $1 to help defray this cost. Hope this massive sum doesn't break the bank. :-) Depending on the weather and what everyone is in favor of, we'll either meet in a big room or in a courtyard. (They're both on the same floor.) We'll decide once we're upstairs. Can't wait to meet you all!
