Seitai free group session
Seitai free group session
Come join us for a gentle yet powerful Seitai group practice — a space where silence, breath, and spontaneous movement meet. This is a donation-based event, so you’re free to contribute what feels right (from 0€ to (your choice)€). ✨ What is Seitai? Seitai (整体) is a Japanese practice that helps you reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence. Through subtle awareness and guided techniques, you’ll be invited to: Listen deeply to your body through Yuki (a meditative, hands-on practice of sensing and following the breath). Release hidden tension with Katsugen — allowing involuntary, spontaneous movements to arise naturally. Find balance in stillness and movement, letting your body recalibrate itself in surprising ways. Seitai is not about control or forcing; it’s about giving voice to the movements your body has been waiting to express. Sometimes this brings ease, clarity, and lightness. Sometimes it stirs up dizziness, discomfort, or emotions. Every experience is valid — and you are always free to pause or leave at any time. 🌌 Why join? Discover a practice that many find deeply transformative. Create space for release, renewal, and vitality. Explore in community, whether you’re a curious first-timer or already familiar with Seitai. 👕 Practical details Wear comfortable clothes and bring a towel and water to stay hydrated. Bring openness and curiosity. Watchers are welcome — you can simply observe, or dive into active practice. The session is guided, but the real teacher is your own body. ✨ Learn more: 🎥 Watch a short video: https://youtu.be/KF7agFE1zss?si=6UhmjwaIAfBo-_Op 📖 Read more about Seitai: https://seitaibarcelona.com/what-is-seitai/ Everyone is welcome, whether you are completely new or already familiar with Seitai. Bring comfortable clothes and an open mind. 💰 This event is donation-based, supporting the space and allowing us to keep offering it. Private one-to-one sessions are also available at an affordable price. 🌿 Step into silence, breath, and spontaneous movement — your body knows the way. PangeaHaus, Trautenaustraße 5, 10717 Berlin, Berlin, 2nd Floor, first room. https://maps.app.goo.gl/DUA4DqR7DEP5XhEy7 https://www.eventbrite.de/e/seitai-free-group-session-tickets-1982614595626? ✨ Was ist Seitai? GUARDIANS Masks Workshop (2-Days session)
GUARDIANS Masks Workshop (2-Days session)
📍 Berlin (Kreuzberg) 🗓 2 sessions (3.5h each with a pause for snacks) This is a two-day event. By booking this session, you are automatically reserving your spot for both days of the workshop! *It will be a small group: limited spots available!* **See a video of previous workshops [here](https://www.instagram.com/p/DXrmpYbjBvc/)!** Dates: **July 3 & 10 (Fridays) 6:00–9:30 PM** €115 (all materials included) 👫 *Bring a friend, and both receive 10€ off.* ***Small Group only!*** *After reserve, I will send you an email to confirm your place.* **A two-session sustainable experience inspired by folk characters and traditional mask-making. You will design and create your own character mask in a hands-on and creative way.** **Guardians are masks with presence—imagined characters that accompany and bring personality to a space**. You can create a small or large mask, designed either to wear or to hang. **Day 1:** Inspiration & Mask Building *"In Japan, masks often embody transformation, character, and symbolic presence.* *In the Andes, masks connect animals, imagination, and collective storytelling (...)"* We begin with a visual introduction to mask-making across cultures, exploring how artists draw inspiration from celebrations, nature, animals, and imaginary characters to create expressive forms. You’ll bring your own idea (or choose from a selection of references) to design your Guardian character. You can choose between different formats — wearable masks or small sculptural faces for the wall — working with accessible materials such as recycled cardboard, papier-mâché, fabric, and mixed textures. **Day 2:** Painting & Finishing In the second session, we bring the characters to life through colour, texture, materials and detail. You will choose a colour palette and combine acrylic paints with acrylic markers to create different finishing effects. The workshop closes with a relaxed sharing moment, where participants can present their character and creative process. **All basic materials are included:** *cardboard, paper, paste, papier-mâché, acrylic paints, fabrics, threads, and decorative textures.* You are welcome to bring \*personal materials \* if you wish — colours, fabrics, small objects, or symbolic elements you would like to incorporate into your piece. * Where: At my studio in **10963 Kreuzberg, Berlin**. It’s a bright, sunny space ☀️ I’ll send you the exact address by email after you fill out the form. It will be fun! **A bit about me** Hi! I’m Rosi Diaz Roigt a Berlin-based mask artist and graphic designer for films. My work explores nature, imagination, and sustainable materials through illustration, sculpture, and mixed media. I guide participants and motivate them to develop their own personal forms of expression! Please RSVP here and also complete the **registration form**, so I can confirm your spot and send you all workshop details.
Asian Languages & Culture Exchange 🍜
This is a 3 phase meetup. You can come at any time. 1.) 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.: Gathering at the meeting spot (see link and photo!). 2.) 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.: Walk & Talk through Tiergarten. 3.) 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.: Immerse conversations in the Zollpackhof beer garden (reserved tables for the meetup). **1.) Meeting spot is Henriette Herz Park.** Copy the coordinates into your maps app: **52°30'38.9"N 13°22'24.1"E** The exact meeting spot can also be seen in the photo depicted below (see red arrow). Look for a meetup sign or organizer wearing a black or red lanyard with "staff" written on it. **Best ways to get there:** 1\. S\-Bahn: Get off at Potsdamer Platz by S1, S2 or S25 and walk to the designated meeting spot. 2\. U\-Bahn \(subway\): Alternatively you can get off at Potsdamer Platz by U2 and just walk 5 min straight to the park. 3\. Bus: If you change at mainstation you can take the M41 or M85 to S Potsdamer Platz /Voßstr. and walk to the park. **2.) Walk & Talk through Tiergarten** (the best part imho). During these weird times it essential to connect with nature and like minded people. You will feel instantly energized and an inner calmness afterwards. **3.) How to the find the Zollpackhof beer garden:** https://goo.gl/maps/vDYYaJcFvTmd7hei7 Elisabeth-Abegg-Straße 1, 10557 Berlin We will be sitting outside. Click the gmaps link with the exact meeting spot if you can can't find us! If you enter from the Magnus-Hirschfeld-Ufer, just go to the left part of the beer garden where the self-service is. If you enter from Elisabeth-Abegg-Str, enter the beer garden from the right. *Who is this meetup for:* 1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\. 2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\. 3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\. *What you can expect:* 1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\. 2\. A Walk & Talk to break the ice\. 3\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\. *important: This event is at the same time and meeting location like the "Networking & Language Exchange - international" one. So I'm basically organizing 2 events at the same time which means that you can expect way more people than on the list.* *** Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?" You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did. From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach. “A person’s name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.” - Dale Carnegie If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily. Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on. Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship. This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.

**1.) Meeting spot is Henriette Herz Park.** Copy the coordinates into your maps app: **52°30'38.9"N 13°22'24.1"E** The exact meeting spot can also be seen in the photo. Internationals who want to practice German or any other language\. 2\. Germans who want to improve their language skills\. *important:* This event is at the same time and meeting location like the "Asian Languages & Culture Exchange 日本語, 한국어, 汉语" one. So I'm basically organizing 2 events at the same time which means that you can expect way more people than on the list. *** Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?" You probably heard this question a million times.

3D Origami Meetup (Introduction)
3D Origami Meetup (Introduction)
**🐈‍⬛️ Why 3D Origami? Isn't all origami kinda 3D?** While regular origami is made by folding one piece of paper into a complex shape, 3D origami uses identical modules stacked on top of each other to create larger objects. In this meetup you will learn how to fold basic 3D Origami pieces to create either a flower🌺 or a chick 🐣 model. If you want to look beyond traditional origami techniques, this meetup is for you! No prior experience required. What you can expect in our events: ***Mandatory donation (amount of your choice) **– this supports essential costs like the Meetup subscription and keeps our community thriving. 🌱 You can either submit a physical donation to the event host in person or make a digital donation [here](https://paypal.me/origamiberlin?locale.x=de_DE&country.x=DE) (and inform the host afterwards). ** *Please order at least one drink/snack **to support Hermann Eicke for hosting us!** *** In-person folding practice for all levels *– beginners and experienced folders are equally welcome.* *** Origami paper + model instructions will be provided. Feel free to bring your own favorite sheets or tools! *** Photos may be taken for memories & our archive (Meetup, Instagram, Telegram) – let the host know if you prefer not to appear. ⚠️** RSVP Policy – Please Read **⚠️ Our community has grown a lot since its birth in August 2024, which is amazing — but it also means we need to handle RSVPs more carefully: *Please cancel your spot or contact the host directly (via Meetup message function or our [Telegram channel](https://t.me/+T4URs80l2ig3NWNi)) if you can't make it last minute. - Members with **2 no-shows** (without notice) will be removed from the group unless a valid reason is provided. Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations. If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!). **HOW IT WORKS** **Step 1: Bring a topic** Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event. **Step 2: Circle up & share** We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds. **Step 3: Walk, talk & float** We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!" **Step 4: Feel more alive** Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times. *For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)* **HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC** A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about. Recent topics include: * "What are you passionate about right now?" * "What makes a good friend?" * "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?" * "How do you want to be remembered?" * "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?" Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter. **WHAT TO EXPECT** This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.* But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here. **FAQ** * Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk! * We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space. * We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space. * Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know. * Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic! **LOGISTICS** * If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event. * This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs. * Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details. * If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋 **IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...** [The Board](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renaissance people devoted to creating, connecting, and building lives that light us up. * This is a global HQ for people who crave big talk, deep connection, and dream collaborations with people across industries. If the walks feel like a spark... The Board is the fire. Apply [here](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board).
