**National Cherry Blossom Kite Festival** Meet at North Bethesda Metro Station entrance at 9:30am and ride the metro downtown. Or meet at the Mall between 10:30:11:00am. Text me, David 502-348-1614 once you get to the Mall to get exact location. Last year kites were a great show once the wind picked up. Bring a kite, snacks, and water. ***Tip***: Consider a pic-nic blanket and/or some portable chairs, if desired.

Students will learn the basics of pole, proper technique and queuing, and safety practices for spins and transitions on the pole. Artistic Artifacts hosts **Open Stitch sessions EVERY Thursday evenings** from 5:30 - 7:30 pm — join us! Come join us at the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival on March 28th! We will meet at 2PM outside the Smithsonian Castle on the National Mall in the heart of DC, near the Professor Joseph Henry statue before walking together to the Sylvan Theater to watch the Taiko performances. Folks can feel free to wander around, look at all the kites, and get involved with any other events they care to. We look forward to seeing you!
