This is a facilitated creative session — not a class. You'll receive a starting prompt, access to paint, collage materials, texture, and colour, then two and a half hours to follow whatever feels right. No instruction. No judgement. No wrong moves. I designed this for women who spend their days in logic, deadlines, or high performance — and who have quietly stopped making things just for the joy of it. This session is permission to start again. We work in a small, intentional group. Music plays. Tea is ready. At 10.30AM on Saturday 4th of April we'll start at our meeting point Houten Castellum train station, where we'll be waiting you in the tunnel under the train station. On our way we'll pass several sights, including the colorful houses at the Rietplas (yes, there will be time to make some photos there), the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal and Kasteel Schonauwen. Do you think about joining, but you're not sure what this is about? Well, Utrecht Hiking Community aims to organise one hike per month. If you're in for a hike with a bunch of friendly other people, you are very welcome to join, no matter whether you are an expat, professional, nomad, local or a student. This hike picks up the trail where we left it on March 8, in Culemborg. We then crossed the river Lek. We will now continue southwards to the river Linge, over mostly unpaved (and sometimes muddy) paths. With some luck, we will see apple, pear and cherry trees in full bloom, as they grow abundantly in this area. **Meeting time and place**: we will meet at **10.15am** at train station Culemborg. 🌸 **Free online gathering** **Next circle: April 5** After this, we will continue meeting on the **first Sunday of each month**. A space to begin the month by returning to yourself. This women’s circle is an invitation to give yourself one hour to pause, slow down, and reconnect with your body, your inner voice, and other women. A simple and caring commitment: beginning the month with meditation and journaling in community. You can think of it as a small personal ritual, creating the habit of listening to yourself, writing, and setting intentions for the month ahead. We meet online on Sunday afternoons to gently transition into a new week and a new month, creating a moment of presence, reflection, and intention. During this 1-hour session we will explore: ✨ a guided meditation to arrive in the body ✨ a journaling practice to connect with what is alive in you ✨ a space for sharing, where you are welcome to speak or simply listen No previous experience is needed. **Blue Landscape – Palette Knife Workshop (Round Canvas)** Join a four-hour painting session where we will create a blue landscape on a round canvas using a palette knife and expressive impasto techniques. Together we will explore gritty, grainy, and cracked textures, building layered depth in the painting. We will also incorporate **23-karat gold leaf** beneath the layers for a subtle luminous effect. Hi everyone! For those who want to enjoy a particularly unique adventure in (mostly) nature, you're welcome to join me in this special Easter hiking excursion! Pay attention, the route is 40km so it's not absolutely hike beginners. For first-timers (and as a helpful reminder 😉), I recommend that you wear a comfy outfit & shoes and bring (lots of) water & a snack or two. At some points during the excursion, we will do breaks to rest and eat/drink for a while. But expect a steady pace faster than the normal hikes but not powerhiking pace. I'd saythink on average 5km/h. It's a marathon not a race 😜 Lastly, after the hike we 100% go for food and drinks. More info about the route/location: It's simple. The Alliance is part of the Greater Central Ohio Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We are an all-voices chorus dedicated to providing an inclusive environment for all those who love to sing, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or musical background.
