Coming Out Group for Lesbian and Bisexual Women
We're hosting our regular peer support group for lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, queer and questioning women.
We look forward to welcoming you if you can make it. Our attendees are a diverse mix of women and are friendly, non-judgmental and inclusive of new people.
During the session we talk over topics by sharing our own experience. We cover any topics our attendees would like to raise (we write them down anonymously at the start of the session) they might be things like "how do I find queer friends?" , "managing the holiday season with an unsupportive family", "coming out at work", "bi invisibility" , "internalised homophobia" , "lgbt book recommendations?", "any dating app recommendations?".
The session is facilitated by volunteers from the charity London Friend.
Our group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 7pm to 9pm.
We're aware it can sometimes be intimidating to join a group like this for the first time, so please reach out to our friendly volunteers if you'd like more information. We can be contacted via Meetup or by emailing changes@londonfriend.org.uk. If you'd like to join and listen without participating further that's ok too.
MeetUp is one of the many platforms where people can find this event, and so the number of meetup RSVP's doesn't match the actual number of attendees. If you'd like to join without RSVPing on Meetup you can simply turn up 7pm at the London Friend location.

Pitch.London - Founder Matchmaking & Speed Problem Solving
Pitch.london is a curated speed-networking event for founders, operators and serious builders.
Short, structured conversations. Sharp prompts. Real chemistry, fast.
The hardest problem in early-stage entrepreneurship is finding the right people. Most events leave it to chance. We donât.
The room is curated, the prompts are clear, and the format is built for high-signal encounters between people who are actually building something.
In one evening, you can meet more relevant people than you might in months of random networking.
Two formats. One room. Zero fluff.
**01\. Founder matchmaking pitches**
Sixty seconds to share who you are, what youâre building, and what would actually help right now.
Whatever youâre looking for, the room is built to help you find it: people to build with, people to hire or be hired by, advisors and investors, or honest feedback on what youâre shipping.
**02\. Group brainstorms**
Small, time-boxed groups tackle a real challenge brought into the room.
Bring a live problem youâre stuck on. Get five minds on it for ten minutes. Leave with new angles and next steps.
**This room is for you if youâre:**
* A founder seeking a co-founder
* A founder seeking a first hire
* An operator looking for a serious team to join
* A technical builder open to commercial partners
* A commercial builder open to technical partners
* A second-time founder scoping the next thing
* An angel investor close to the early-stage scene
Itâs probably not for you if youâre hunting for clients, selling services, or still working out what youâre looking for.
**Run of show**
* 17:30 to 18:00 Doors, drinks, soft start
* 18:00 to 18:05 Welcome and the rules of the room
* 18:05 to 18:35 Speed pitches: Round 1
* 18:35 to 19:15 Group brainstorms
* 19:15 to 19:45 Speed pitches: Round 2
* 19:45 to 20:00 Open networking, then drinks at the citizenM Skybar
**Whatâs included**
Your ÂŁ25 covers your seat in the room and a drink at the citizenM Skybar after the programme.
**First 30 in get a seat**
London Bisexuals Monthly Social
Our regular social on the fourth Thursday every month, in a Soho bar. Great for new members; very friendly, relaxed atmosphere, definitely social, fun, and happy; not meat-market, just informal chat and optional drinks from the bar. Come say hi and hang out!
This is our main regular event. All bi+ people welcome (so including pansexual, m-spec queer etc.), plus supportive partners, anyone bi-curious/questioning, and practicing allies - no biphobia, racism, transphobia or other bigotry allowed! If you have extra needs or questions, please get in touch via Meetup messaging/social media.
⍠Who/what to expect...
Pre-pandemic pub meets were 30-40 people, we're back near those numbers again; there will be a good mix of regulars and first-timers (roughly half and half - always a lot of new faces every time), genders (not too far from an even split of men/women, a few of whom might be trans â of course non-binary people welcome too), a mix of ethnicities similar to or sometimes even more diverse than the London population, and some neurodiversity (not all neurotypical people). The odd couple/+1 too.
This keeps it fresh and friendly to all - regulars chat to new folk. New members won't be the only new person (by a long way) so you shouldn't feel left out. If you turn up after the start and it looks like everyone already knows everyone - it only seems like that; its just how friendly we are. We finish late so we're used to people coming and going all through the evening.
Most people arrive within the first hour, it's busiest at 9-9.30pm but a crowd is around til at least 10pm, often later (sometimes even a handful til closing).
⍠Social Media / Further details:
We also use Twitter/a little Instagram and a Facebook Page for news, issues, updates and activism from the community in London and further afield. The group accounts are happy to be tagged for bi content but respect individuals' privacy (eg. avoid identifying anyone without consent).
Official events always on Meetup, but links often shared on social media and LinkedIn/our Discord chat server.
Twitter @londonbi / Instagram @londonbisexualsmeetup / Facebook Page and LinkedIn: London Bisexuals Meetup Group (all use our logo).
Links via our campsite bio (bottom of list): https://campsite.bio/londonbi
After the meet finishes (between events), continue the chat via our Discord server (needs a separate account): https://discord.gg/PvZBDVu or official WhatsApp group (ask for invite/check comments here sometimes).
Underwater Rugby training
You can expect a friendly introduction to the sport, but in all honesty you will dive in at the deep end to learn UWR.
Please bring swimwear and an open mind and expectation to have fun. We can lend an UWR hat, snorkle, mask and fins. Although if you have them already it is better to bring your own.
Expect to swim, dive to 4m depth, hold your breath longer than you thought you could, be involved in drills and games. It is full contact and you will be wrestling other players to take the ball and pass to your team or score a goal.
Please get on touch with questions or intent to attend prior to session so that we can support with kit etc.

Neurodivergent Women Navigating Midlife Changes - Sleep, Rest, and Connection
Sleep, Rest & Connection:
Building Our Community Together
Join us for the next gathering of The Pause Collective â a supportive meetup for neurodivergent women navigating perimenopause, menopause, burnout, overwhelm, and life transitions.
Since many of us haven't yet had the opportunity to meet, we'll begin by getting to know one another and sharing what brought us to this community.
We'll also explore one of the most common challenges many women experience during this season of life: sleep.
Whether you're navigating insomnia, waking up in the middle of the night, racing thoughts, night sweats, exhaustion, burnout, or simply not feeling rested, you're not alone.
This will be a relaxed, low-pressure coffee shop meetup focused on connection and conversation.
No need to prepare anything.
No pressure to share.
Come as you are.
Together we'll:
⢠Introduce ourselves and get to know one another
⢠Share what brought us to The Pause Collective
⢠Discuss sleep, rest, and energy during perimenopause and menopause
⢠Exchange ideas, experiences, and support
⢠Explore what topics we'd like to discuss in future gatherings
⢠Continue building the kind of community we'd like to create together
This space is neurodivergent-affirming, self-diagnosis-friendly, and supportive of different communication styles and energy levels.
Quiet participation is welcome. Listening is participating.
Whether you're looking for support, learning, friendship, or simply a place where you don't have to explain yourself, you are welcome here.
I look forward to meeting you.
