Meet people from many countries and make new friends. 👉We always have between 150 - 250 people attending our Tuesday event since this event is listed in 3 different meetup groups. Some people come early some come late, best time is between 6pm to 9pm. 👉This is a great opportunity to learn to speak English with native and non-native speakers. Many English speakers, Europeans, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, and other Asians attend our fun and friendly party. 👉It is suitable for international students, working holiday people, professional ex-pats, and local Australians. 👉**Fee** of **$3.50** to be paid at the entrance or you can buy something from the bar. Do you run your own business or work for yourself and wish that you had a community of like-minded women who share the same experiences as you? If so, join us for a freelancers/entrepreneurs/self-employed networking night where we can share our stories over $2 dumplings. Entrepreneurship and self-employment can be a lonely journey. We go through unique things and experiences, and our ups and downs can feel a lot more intense. But there's no reason why we need to go through this experience alone, when we have a community of women who have experienced what you have, and might even be able to point you in the right direction. It doesn't matter if you're a startup founder, a self-employed designer, or a part-time freelance consultant; anyone and everyone who runs a business is welcome.

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. First-timers welcome! **7:00 - 8:00PM Sensual Bachata (Intermediate level)**: This class builds on your existing understanding of turns, wraps, connection and **(most importantly) frame**; to introduce Bachata sensual whole-body movements. Mastering the techniques in this class will get you ready for any social dance floor anywhere in the world. We recommend at least 8-12 months of regular dancing before attempting this class. Check with an instructor for tips on how to improve your frame so that you will get the most out of this class. **8:00 - 9:00PM Intermediate Social Moves:** This class is perfect for dancers of all levels who have at least 8-12 weeks of experience dancing Bachata. In this class, we focus on teaching you fun social moves that you can use immediately on the dance floor. The moves and combinations taught in this class are perfect for Australia’s social dance scene and will keep you dancing for hours. **8:00 - 9:00PM Advanced Bachata**: In this class we introduce advanced techniques, complex timing, and musicality. This class requires an assessment (or invitation from an instructor). Students in this class should be able to lead and follow controlled whole-body movements learned in the Intermediate Sensual class. It is our expectation that advanced dancers are practicing their dance 3-4 times per week. Improv is just "making things up" - unscripted theatre. Tell a story, play a character, express an emotion in a fun and supportive space! Scenes can be set anywhere; everyday life, space, the wild west, and everything in between. Skills you can practise through improv: -self-confidence and self-acceptance - Listening to others -Helping others succeed -Being supportive -Respecting others - Acceptance - Play - Teamwork All levels of experience accommodated, and first-timers welcomed! Key elements involve choosing a theme/location, mixing physical/mental tasks, using diverse clues (puzzles, photos), and setting a clear start/finish for a memorable adventure. Let's have an indoor mall scavenger hunt! This is for adults over 50 only. This is a free event. You will not en spending sny money unless you wsnt too. Bring a team no more of 4 or find a team at the event. We will pair people up! We will use Montgomery all as the base for the hunt There will be no running in the mall for safety reasons. If your team is caught running in the mall you will be disqualified. Wear good walking shoes. I will give out my number at the event so that people can text me during the game and also send photos We will wait 10 minutes for people to arrive before the game starts. Good event for those who like to be active and having fun. Even if you are a slow walker this is an event you can do with your team. We will meet in the food court. I will have a sign and post where to find us. Teams will be made at the time start and then you will be given a list of things to find or take photos of etc. A prize will be given out for the first group to return to base and finish their hunt. After the game, we can go to Lucky Strike for drinks, etc. FREE Parking We need at least 10 people to be able to keep this event going.
