We will get-together at the KereKere cafe - at the community table just inside the cafe entrance. *This is a group for people with intermediate and advanced level French who are able to engage in a conversation en français. It is not suitable for beginners.* The cafe is close to the corner of Wellington Parade and Lansdowne St, East Melbourne in the Fitzroy Gardens. It takes about 5 minutes on Tram 75 from Flinders St Station, or 15 minute walk. Car parking around Fitzroy Gardens on Sundays now is $2 per hour with a 4 hour limit, Some parking is limited to 1 hour even on Sunday. And occasionally, if there is a game at the MCG for example there might not be much parking at all. **Join Us for a Special Clean-Up Event This March!** This month, we're switching things up and hosting our event on a Sunday - for a great reason! Our clean-up will coincide with **Clean Up Australia Day** on **Sunday, 1st March**, making it an extra special occasion. But that’s not all - we’re also celebrating the **8th birthday** of the **Maribyrnong River Rubbish Club!** To mark the occasion, we’ll be providing a **light vegetarian lunch** after our usual clean-up, and we’d love for you to join us. **\*\*\* EVENT DETAILS \*\*\*** **What to Expect** Enjoy fresh air, good conversation and light exercise, all while making a positive impact on our local environment. We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
