We begin with a gentle journey out of Melbourne, easing into nature with a relaxed coffee stop before arriving in the heart of Warburton. From here, the day unfolds naturally — a beautiful 10 km walk through forest trails, open views, and quiet moments along the way. No rush, just rhythm. We pause, we breathe, we take it all in. Midday brings local flavours at the farmers market, followed by a relaxed picnic with a fresh fruit platter — simple, nourishing, shared together. In the afternoon, we step into the magical Redwoods Forest — a place to slow down even more. A short guided meditation invites you to ground, breathe deeply, and reconnect. We continue with a peaceful river walk, a scenic countryside drive, and a final stop to taste the region’s fresh local produce — a sweet finish to a full and balanced day. As the sun begins to soften, we return to Melbourne — lighter, calmer, and with a heart full of good moments. *** ### ✨ **All included. No stress. Find Your Personality Match - Make Friends (Age group: 25-45))
🌟 **A new one-on-one, personality-based connection experience** Many of you have been asking about structured events and if I’d ever bring them back. Well… here it is - a new version, more intentional, and built around something I care about : **matching people based on personality.** Over the years, I’ve seen how hard it can be to find people you truly click with as adults. Small talk goes nowhere, and most events don’t give you the space for real conversation. 💫 **What to Expect** This is not speed dating, and it’s not a big mixer. It’s a curated, one-on-one connection experience where you’ll meet a few people who’ve been matched to you based on personality and vibe. Expect: * A cosy, comfortable venue * A hosted structure so you’re never left awkwardly standing around * A series of guided one-on-one conversations * A relaxed atmosphere where you can genuinely be yourself * This is not dating focused event, there will be a seperate one for dating Each conversation is designed to feel natural — because the match is based on compatibility Get your tickets here - https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/1985176043987?aff=oddtdtcreator 🧭 **Before the Event** Once you get your Eventbrite ticket, you’ll receive a **short personality test (If you have already taken the test at a previous event you don't need to do it again)**. It takes only a few minutes but helps us understand your communication style, energy, and compatibility factors. This is how we curate meaningful one-on-one pairings for the event. 🌿 **Come Join Us** If you’re tired of small talk and ready to meet people who truly fit your personality, this is for you. A warm, intentional space created for deeper conversations and genuine chemistry - whether it becomes friendship, something romantic, or just a surprisingly great chat. RSVP now — spots are kept limited to ensure quality one-on-one time.
🌿🐣 Conscious Easter Walk: Chocolate & Impact
🌿🐣 Conscious Easter Walk: Chocolate & Impact
This Easter, we’re celebrating a little differently — with connection, conscious choices, and simple conversations around the things we often take for granted… like chocolate and coffee 🍫☕ Join Eco Impact Tribe for a relaxed Walk & Talk through the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. A chance to slow down, enjoy the sunshine, and explore how small everyday choices can create a wider impact. This is a casual and welcoming event for anyone who enjoys meaningful conversation, nature, and meeting like-minded people — without pressure or formality. We’ll gently explore ideas around fair trade, ethical consumption, and conscious living, keeping everything light, open, and conversational. If you like feel free to bring along an ethical or fair trade chocolate to share. **Meeting Point:** We’ll meet at the Kiosk of **The Observatory** **Café at 11:30 AM** inside the Royal Botanic Gardens, so you’re welcome to grab a coffee before we begin. If possible, bring your own takeaway cup. 📩 If you’re running late, please DM me! **Plan for the day:** • Meet and greet at the Observatory Cafe at 11:30AM ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/gskx6xgNiJF1f72g6](https://maps.app.goo.gl/gskx6xgNiJF1f72g6)) • Gentle group walk through the gardens • We stop at **Central Lawn** to connect and relax ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/EPbmiZzVk1wRoD989](https://maps.app.goo.gl/EPbmiZzVk1wRoD989)) **What to bring:** • Comfortable walking shoes • Water • Hat and sunscreen if it’s sunny • Have something to sit down • A reusable coffee cup (preferable) • Your good vibes Whether you’re new to sustainability or already passionate about it, this is a welcoming space to connect and reflect together. Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
**The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights. Condado has since been named to the Inc. 5000, recognized as Breakout Retailer by Chain Store Age, and consistently ranked among FastCasual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers. CBusData: The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
CBusData: The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI
The Fellowship of the Star Schema: Transforming OLTP Data for Power BI One does not simply build reports on OLTP data. Join us on an epic journey from the depths of raw, normalized tables to the shining halls of a well-modeled star schema fit for Power BI greatness. We will demystify the differences between OLTP and OLAP, walk through star schema vs snowflake (and why Power BI has a clear favorite), and show you the compression differences between normalized and columnar storage that will make you never look at an OLTP model the same way again. We will cover the different types of dimensions, when to use them, and how to handle Slowly Changing Dimensions without losing your mind. You will leave knowing exactly how to identify a bad model, how to convert OLTP data into a clean star schema, and how to forge relationships that rule them all. Whether you are a data wizard, a curious hobbit, or somewhere in between, your models will never be the same.

AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machine’s? This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation? We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. Sponsored by [Transform Labs](https://www.transformlabs.com/services)
