We reserve our right to adapt the setup according to the audience level, vibe, health, weather, shape etc SETUP ● 2 courts (2 vs 2), 1 team is rotating or taking a rest court 1: minim 6 players court 2: minim 4 players ● 2 courts - 10-12 people (more players, we make small teams and play shorts, all combination; the hosts have the last word. proposals are welcome) ● The event organisers or experienced player are entitled to send players on the second court ● We are respectfull and warm with each other, our cultural and professional background is diverse. ● New proposals are welcome :). Sometimes we adapt. ● The host toghether with the regular players, can ask new or misbehaved players to step out from the court, in order to maintain the good vibes Price to pay (in cash) (Aprox, for this season, could vary with 1-2 euros) ■ 12 euros for 1h ■ 20 euros for 2h ■ If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (if available). Day DJ is a weekly series at Villa Vida Café. Each Friday, local DJs take over the space and share their sound in a daytime setting. The focus is on new talent, experimentation, and community. This is a place to build sets, try ideas, and connect through music. The format is open and relaxed. You can come to listen, work, meet people, or stay for the full set. The aim is to create a consistent platform where DJs grow their practice and support each other. **Vinzenz** New to DJing but already building a very distinct sound, they work with a mix of flea market discoveries, archival records, and digital experimentation. Their collection ranges from 1920s–1980s vinyl, with a focus on South American music, Caribbean rhythms, jazz, swing, and vintage Schlager — especially releases from Vienna Phon and Donauland. DJs have played a central role in queer culture. In spaces where queer people were excluded, DJs created environments where identity and expression could exist. Through sound, they shaped rooms, built connections, and guided shared experiences. Many of the sounds and practices that define nightlife today grew out of queer spaces. House, disco, and club culture were shaped by queer communities, especially Black and Latinx scenes. Day DJ continues this history by creating space for new voices and keeping this culture active.

So you will play with/against different players during the event * Teams are put together based on their skill level * We focus on having balanced teams **Equipment** * I provide balls (usually Bullpadel Next) * If you need a racket, you can rent it from me for 2 € (limited number available). Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. **Welcome to Drunken Philosophy** a casual, curious social discussion **Optional topic for this meetup: What's up with all the AI hate?** A recent survey found that 74% of Americans have a negative view of AI, and I want to know why. Come out and debate whether AI is good or bad. My hot take: a labor-saving tool that could potentially help cure cancer gets called dangerous because it might raise unemployment or cause a speculative investment bubble, that tells you a lot more about capitalism and the economic system we live under than it does about the tool itself. As a computer programmer, I think AI is a wonderful tool that has increased my productivity by at least an order of magnitude. I'd go so far as to say Claude Code is the best tool I have ever used. Debate me and name a better one. Is AI potentially dangerous? Yes, but so are a lot of tools. Chainsaws. Steam engines (early ones would occasionally explode and kill everyone in the room). Do you think cavemen sat around debating whether fire could be used as a weapon or for self-harm, and decided not to discover it? I have two friends who hate AI for opposite reasons: one thinks it's a fad and not useful, and the other thinks it's going to take over everything and cause human extinction.
