This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to actively engage with and reflect upon the possibilities of tomorrow. **Organized in collaboration with [Futurium](https://futurium.de/en)**[,](https://futurium.de/en) the session is designed to be participatory, blending reflection, discussion, and creative hands-on activities. **Location:** **[Futurium](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uqRAq7npeFKubvbu5)**, see the workshop room on the map attached in this event. 📸 We will be documenting the event. However, we will fully anonymize all participants by covering faces with stickers in the final media. If you’d prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments. **What to expect:** * **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)** We begin with a journey into the past—examining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today. **Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000—offering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context. * **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)** Next, participants take part in a guided “opinion swap” exercise using prompt cards. This dynamic format encourages movement, discussion, and the exchange of diverse perspectives within the group—making space for a wide range of voices and viewpoints. * **Creative Activity (approx. 20 minutes)** To close, the group will collaborate on designing an “object from the future.” This hands-on exercise invites participants to imagine possible developments and express their ideas creatively—turning abstract speculation into tangible, shared visions. **About the Organizers:** This workshop is organized by[ Futurium](https://futurium.de/en) in collaboration with the Berlin Neurodivergent Community. Do you want to play football but don't want to pay? Are you a bit unfit, a bit old, or a bit Terrible? Want to have a relaxed kick about and a couple of beers after? Then Terrible Football is for you!
Anyone can play: any ability, any age, and any gender. Terrible Football is about miss kicked clearances, sweet half volleys and desperate diving saves. We play in the rain, sun or snow. It's completely free, and always will be. It's open, inclusive and Terrible. We usually play on Astro (artificial grass) and sometimes on grass, depending on numbers. Bibs, balls, and cones are taken care of! Just bring sporty clothes and a pair of rubber studded football shoes you'll be good to go! Join us for our second hike of the summer! We will start by meeting at (or at least boarding) the **10.40 RE2 (3112)** at **Ostkreuz** station, **Platform 1**. We will arrive at Lübben (Spreewald) at 11.25. *Note that if you miss this train, then the next one does not arrive until 11.56, so you will certainly miss us and won't be able to catch up!* The hike will go from Lübben to Schlepzig, along the canals and lakes of the beautiful Spreewald region. *(See photos for a rough route -- this is not necessarily accurate!)* The walk will be about 15 km and take about 4-5 hours. Bring lunch, snacks & water, comfortable walking shoes, and maybe even some sunglasses. We will stop a couple of places along the way, but will not stop long enough to order food, so bring your lunch! At the end of the walk, in Schlepzig, there is a Whisky brewery and a Biergarten. We will visit one or both. You can also get food at both. Then, we will take the 18:57 bus back to the starting point of Lübben Bahnhof. From there, we will catch the 19.34 RE2 (3129) back to Ostkreuz, arriving at 20.23. *(If you really want to, and if we get to Schlepzig in time, then you can also take the 16.52 bus to Lübben, then the 17.34 RE2 back to Berlin.)* **Note: We will reschedule this if the weather is too rainy. Monschau exudes with history, architecture & romance. * **Hiking in the Eifel Region:** This region was shaped by volcanic activity and although the last volcano erupted about 10,000 years ago, evidence of the Eifel’s turbulent past can be seen in the crater lakes, called maars, that pepper the Vulkaneifel landscape. The region also boasts some of the loveliest fairy tale towns and medieval castles in the country. * **Short Guided tour of Aachen:** Aachen is known for its history and culture, as well as its thermal springs and spa. The city was the preferred residence of Charlemagne, and was the place where **31 Holy Roman Emperors** were crowned Kings of the Germans. We take a walk in Berlin to meet new people or people we already know 😁 It's a way to spend a few hours together on a Sunday afternoon. **How it works?** The concept is very simple: * We meet at Alexanderplatz Station at 14,00 o'clock (we use the Whatsapp Chat to find each other: I will post there my exact location in the station) * I wait for people for 10 minutes, till 14,10, then we start to walk direction West, crossing Museum Island and Mitte 🏛️🏘️ * We reach Tiergarten and we will cross the entire park, seeing some of its interesting points🌲🌳☘️ * We finally reach Café am Neuen See: https://maps.app.goo.gl/kSui84icxyU6hQG56 to sit down together to take something to drink or eat 🥐☕🍪 * The total length of the walk is about 8kms I consider that the event will last in overall around 4 hours (2 hours of walk and 2 hours at Café am Neuen See), but people are free to stay together longer, if they want 🙂 What I provide is leading the walk and the people at Café am Neuen See, but I do not force anyone to stay shorter or longer. I do not provide a "personal support" for people who arrive after 14,10 (do not write to me expecting "private support"). You are responsible to check for the weather and decide if come or not. Meet at the parking lot closest to the playground at 2319 Quarry Trails Drive. We’ll hike 3-4 miles at a 17 minute pace. No one left behind. Optional lunch afterward.
