The House of Self is an experiential personal development programme designed to support adults in building self-worth, confidence, assertiveness, and healthy boundaries. This **free live taster session** offers a gentle introduction to the House of Self approach, the structure of the programme, and the kind of space I hold. It is: * grounded and practical * reflective but not overwhelming * supportive without being therapeutic This session is **not therapy** and does not involve analysing the past in depth. Instead, it focuses on strengthening your sense of self in the present and giving you tools you can begin using straight away. If you feel you’ve lost your sense of self, struggle to assert your needs, or want to rebuild your confidence and boundaries in a safe, respectful environment, you are very welcome to join us. Exploring the best Soul songs and the best arrangements - especially those featuring strings (violin, viola, cello), French horn, flute, brass, woodwinds, percussion, background vocals. Let's have fun learning and playing a bunch of great tunes from the Soul / R&B back catalogue. There will be well-known standards and lesser-known or even obscure gems chosen from anywhere in the entire history of R&B.
