Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in **Humboldthain** park! We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 2v2 play with beach rules. This week, complete beginners are welcome on the chill court. Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing and perhaps bring a drink. **Location**: This week, we play in the big clearing of **Volkspark Humboldthain**. We are NOT playing in Hasenheide as usual. Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process. The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.

Younkin Branch Library (Ashville) meeting space is now reserved for any and all interested in or enthused by playing a game of chess. The second Thursday of each month, 6:00pm to 7:50pm. First gathering is Thursday, May 11th. No fees. Chess sets provided; however, you may bring your own if you wish.
