Authentic Games Berlin
Authentic Games Berlin
**We are starting into a new round of having some human magic happen :)** **What to expect at an Authentic Games Berlin event?** Authentic Relating is embodied communication practice. We search for authenticity – staying true to your needs, feelings and boundaries – while relating to other human beings with their needs, feelings and boundaries. **Theme of the evening: World beneath Words** So much of our daily life happens in words: explaining, planning, performing, thinking ahead. In this session, we are going to explore what becomes possible when we drop beneath all of that. When we let silence speak. When connection is felt before it is named. Through a series of Authentic Relating games, we will tune into the subtle layers of experience that usually stay unnoticed: the micro‑shifts in attention, the quiet impulses, the way connection changes when we move, pause, breathe, or simply stay. We will shift our attention from talking to sensing, from explaining to experiencing. What becomes visible when we stop rushing toward meaning? What do we feel when we let the room speak? If you are curious about the layer of connection that lives underneath language, come explore with us and meet us in the world beneath words. And as usual: Come Curious - Leave Connected. Join us on Tuesday, **19th May** 2026 at **Café Maggie**, [Frankfurter Allee 205, 10365 Berlin](http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Frankfurter%20Allee%20205%2C%2010365%20Berlin), **7–9 pm** (please come to land up to 15 minutes earlier, as we start at the full hour, doors close at 7 pm) **Price** The event is donation based. Cash or PayPal only, no registration needed. Suggested donation: 8-20 €. No one will be turned away due to the lack of funds. **What to bring?** Nothing but you. You have everything you need to take part in this experience of human connection. **Everyone is welcome to join. Even if you are on the waitlist here on Meet-Up, please come and join us - we will have a spot for you.** **No previous experience with Authentic Relating Practices needed.** **Spread the word. Bring a friend - all are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.** **Accessibility and diversity note** We aim to make our Authentic Games events accessible and diverse. We would like to explicitly welcome everybody, regardless of age, social background, identity, body shape, (dis)abilities etc. We put effort into dismantling biases and systems of oppressions we participate in as well as meeting various access needs. Feel free to contact us at [[authenticgamesberlin@gmail.com](http://authenticgamesberlin@gmail.com)]([mailto:authenticgamesberlin@gmail.com](http://mailto:authenticgamesberlin@gmail.com)) if you have any concerns or questions in this regard. Authentic Games events are based on talking and listening to other people in pairs, trios or bigger groups. Depending on the number of participants, this may generate a considerable level of noise in the space. The event is held in English with possible translation to German or Polish. While playing the game you can talk in a language you choose with your partner(s). Sometimes the games may also involve movement (for example walking). Consensual touch with other participants is allowed but never necessary. The upcoming event is happening in Café Maggie at Frankfurter Allee 205 – next to U-Bahn Magdalenenstraße. The space is on the ground floor, but there is one small doorstep at the entrance. There is a barrier free toilet inside. Despite the name, you cannot buy drinks in Café Maggie, but we provide water and tea for participants.
AI Talent Strategy - Upskilling vs. Hiring
AI Talent Strategy - Upskilling vs. Hiring
The Berlin CTO Roundtable is back, and this time we’re tackling a critical question: In the age of rapid AI evolution and shifting market dynamics, is it better to build talent from within or buy it from the outside? Between the rapid evolution of AI-driven roles and the rising costs of recruitment, the "buy vs. build" talent strategy has never been more consequential. We’ll explore the ROI of internal academies, the cultural impact of shifting skill requirements, and how automation is fundamentally redefining "Senior" and "Junior" roles in 2026. **We’ll be diving deep into:** * **The ROI of Internal Academies:** When does upskilling actually pay off compared to headhunter fees? * **Cultural Impact:** How do you maintain morale while shifting skill requirements? * **The AI Factor:** How is automation changing the very definitions of "Senior" and "Junior" roles? **Agenda:** * **18:30** – Arrival & Drinks * **19:30** – Panel Discussion * **20:30** – Networking: Connect with fellow tech leaders to share experiences and actionable strategies on talent growth. **The Panel consists of:** Alesia Braga - CTO @ Cint Paul Lunow - CTO @ Vention Raphael Eisenberg - CEO @ Recruitment Circle Join us for an evening of real talk and shared experience. Enjoy food and drinks courtesy of our host, **cognee**. **Location:** cognee, Paul-Lincke-Ufer 39-40, Hof 4, 10999 Berlin **Alesia** is serving as Cint’s Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), Alesia has over 20 years of experience working in innovative software companies and has held leadership roles for over 14 years. Before joining Cint, Alesia was the CPTO at SmartRecruiters – a global HR technology company that provides the only enterprise-grade platform connecting people to jobs at scale – where she managed both Technology and Product teams. Prior to that, she worked for Quandoo as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a leading marketplace for restaurants and diners. She also brings a wealth of experience working at Google, leading Google Cloud’s global SRE practice and SugarCRM, where she led its engineering and technology services. **Paul’s** career in technology spans over two decades, covering a broad spectrum of roles from founder and full-stack engineer to CTO. He launched his first literature platform while still in school, setting the tone for a path shaped by hands-on engineering and thoughtful leadership. In early 2025, he also published his first novel, reflecting his ability to bridge creativity with technology. **Raphael Eisenberg**, founder of Recruitment Circle, has been working in tech recruiting for over 11 years. With a background in economics and business psychology, he places engineers who stay long term. His current focus: AI-fluent talent that measurably improves existing development teams - and what they will cost in the DACH market in 2026.

But once you succeed and need to scale, your original frontend architecture might not be ready for what comes next. As our Sales Process Orchestration Platform expanded to support multiple products and sales channels, our original monolithic application became a bottleneck.* *In this talk, I'll share how we transitioned to a domain‑driven, multi‑app architecture while deliberately keeping a single React codebase. You'll see how we applied Domain‑Driven Design concepts on the frontend, structured clear boundaries between sales channels, and used Nx to orchestrate builds, enforce architecture rules, and keep teams moving independently without losing shared foundations.* **➡️ React Native in 2026: Not Your Daddy’s React Native - [Conor Lamb](https://www.linkedin.com/in/conorobrienlamb/)** *React Native has changed a bunch, and if you haven't looked at it lately you're in for some fun. We'll walk through building a real app with (my beloved 😍) Expo. Talk about project setup to app store submission with detours into AI-assisted development and ofc, talk about the casual masochism that is mobile dev.* **➡️ The Fourth Platform: How Vega Got Us Surprisingly Close to "Write Once, Run Everywhere" - [Bogdan Plieshka](http://linkedin.com/in/gotbahn/?skipRedirect=true)** *"Write once, run everywhere" is a promising goal in software development, but one that often breaks down under real-world problems. At Zattoo, building streaming applications across Android, Apple, and Web meant years of separate native stacks that were not aligned, and therefore did not scale. This talk explains how moving to a multiplatform architecture, enabled by Vega as a fourth (React Native first platform), brought us very close to achieving that goal.* — **👍 Code of Conduct** By registering for this event you agree to comply with our [CoC](https://portal.gitnation.org/coc) **📩 Contact** events@gitnation.org [https://twitter.com/ReactSummit](https://twitter.com/ReactSummit) [https://bsky.app/profile/reactsummit.gitnation.org](https://bsky.app/profile/reactsummit.gitnation.org) [http://youtube.com/ReactConferences](http://youtube.com/ReactConferences)

Berlin Tech Leads - The one where AI reshapes Customer Support Engineering
Berlin Tech Leads - The one where AI reshapes Customer Support Engineering
**We’re back!** After a break, the Berlin Tech Leads meetup is officially revived **\- and this time IRL at Berlin Vinted office\.** **We’ve missed the deep dives, the architectural debates, and the networking. To kick things off, we’re tackling one of the fastest-moving landscapes in the industry right now: the intersection of Engineering and Customer Support.** **About the Event** Customer Support is often the first place where AI moves from "experimental" to "mission-critical." For Tech Leads, this shift isn't just about plugging in a basic chatbot; it’s about re-engineering the entire lifecycle of a ticket and how our systems actually interact with our users. In this meetup, we’re looking under the hood of the support stack. We’ll discuss how the landscape is being reshaped by LLMs, the shift toward autonomous agents, and the real technical hurdles of building multi-modal support systems. **Talks:** * [Pau Agustín](https://www.linkedin.com/in/pau-agust%C3%ADn-granell-6420a5139/) & Team Help Experience (vinted.com): "Scaling Support: How Vinted Manages Tens of Thousands of Tickets Every Day" * [Yam Marcovitz](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAAbVVAwBOgouy-uT1QB1ixhqrafAv1kNxQk) (parlant.io) "Building consistently aligned agents with Parlant" * [Richard Lohwasser](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAABRCCmYBD9PS9O73AjQ244LC4Gc_NMUcnsY) (enneo.ai): "Applying AI across all channels in real-life customer service at scale: What works, what doesn't, and where we're heading to?" *Just a quick reminder: if you'd like to take the stage and speak at a future Berlin Tech Leads meetup, feel free to drop a message to one of the organisers.*

KREATIV UNTAPPED #1 · Storytelling Untapped w/ Ben Sauer
KREATIV UNTAPPED #1 · Storytelling Untapped w/ Ben Sauer
**\>\>\> Registration takes place on Luma: [https://luma.com/yp90isjd](https://luma.com/yp90isjd)** This event is presented by our friends from KREATIV UNTAPPED. For more info check out their Luma page! \-\-\-\- ## **Welcome to KREATIV UNTAPPED #1 Storytelling Untapped w/ Ben Sauer** ## **A hands-on session. No slides. Just your stories.** We couldn't be more excited to tap into this with you at **[Thoughtworks Berlin](https://www.thoughtworks.com/en-de/about-us/locations/berlin)**. \*\*\* **KREATIV UNTAPPED** is a creative playground born in Berlin – and we're kicking off with the discipline that sits at the heart of every other one: **storytelling.** Because here's what AI can't replace: the human desire to create. Creativity is what makes us uniquely human — it's a muscle, and like any muscle, it needs training. Most of us have stopped. **KREATIV UNTAPPED** is where we change that — through hands-on sessions with working practitioners across visual arts, tactile crafts, narrative & sound, and spatial & performative disciplines. **This evening** is about words, voice, and presence. In a world full of decks, dashboards and screens, we've forgotten how to just… tell a story. This evening is a practice in putting the slides away and using the oldest tools we have — your voice, your hands, your story. **Expect a short provocation from [Ben](https://bensauer.net/), a hands-on session with a sketching element to flex that creative muscle, a round of group sharing, and time to actually meet the people in the room.** **Who's this for?** Anyone with a story to tell — and the willingness to tell it without a slide deck. No job title. No prior experience. Just the willingness to tap in. Creativity untapped. Connection for real. \-\-\- **ABOUT [BEN SAUER](https://bensauer.net/)** Ben Sauer is a speaker, author, and coach who teaches the art of strategic storytelling — and the perfect person to launch this series. He's the author of "Death by Screens: How to Present High-Stakes Digital Design Work and Live to Tell the Tale" — a go-to resource for designers, product people and creatives who want to stop boring their audiences and actually be heard. Ben spent years as a UX designer at Clearleft, then as Director of Product for AI at Babylon Health, leading a team of 100 on products worth $100m+. He has trained teams at NASA, Amazon, and the BBC, and spoken at The Economist, NEXT Conference, UX London, VW + Audi and dozens more — frequently as the audience's top-rated speaker. More about Ben: [https://bensauer.net](https://bensauer.net/) \-\-\- **AGENDA** • 18:30 – 19:00 · Check-in • 19:00 – 19:15 · Intro – what KREATIV UNTAPPED is and why we're here • 19:15 – 20:15 · Hands-on storytelling session with Ben Sauer (incl. sketching element) • 20:15 – 20:45 · Group sharing round • 20:45 – 20:50 · Wrap-up & what's next • 20:50 – 21:30 · Networking \-\-\- **ADDITIONAL NOTES** **Donation-based event** This first edition is donation-based — give what feels right. Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Building Scalable Customer Identity Resolution Pipelines on AWS Using AI
Customer identity resolution becomes increasingly complex as organizations scale across multiple systems, regions, and data formats. Traditional rule-based approaches often fail to keep up with data variability, require constant manual tuning, and struggle with real-time processing needs. This session presents a practical approach to building a scalable identity resolution pipeline using AWS services and modern AI techniques. The architecture combines data ingestion through Amazon S3 and AWS Glue, transformation pipelines using Spark on EMR, and machine learning models deployed via SageMaker for entity matching and standardization. Graph-based relationship modeling is implemented using Amazon Neptune to improve resolution accuracy by incorporating household and shared attribute context. We will walk through how machine learning models can be used for name and address normalization, how intelligent blocking strategies improve matching efficiency, and how feedback loops can be introduced to continuously improve accuracy. The session also highlights how serverless components such as AWS Lambda can be used for orchestration and real-time processing. **SPEAKER BIO** Mosaic Syed is a Senior Data Engineering and Cloud Solutions Architect with over 20 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across global enterprise environments. https://www.linkedin.com/in/mosaic-basha-syed-92300856 **CALL FOR SPEAKERS** Learn more: [https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/](https://www.awscolumbus.com/get-involved/) **THANK YOU** *VEEAM* for hosting our meetup! In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them. Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance". Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
