KIT Berlin ([@kitstudioartspace](https://www.instagram.com/kitstudioartspace)) invites you to an exhibition of paintings by Wiola Stankiewicz [@wiola_stankiewicz](https://www.instagram.com/wiola_stankiewicz/) “Now it Makes Sense, Isn’t It?” and a musical performance by Antonio Bastos [@antonio__bastos](https://www.instagram.com/antonio__bastos/)
Now It Makes Sense, Isn’t It? continues the “Emotional Algorithm” project — a series of paintings built from intuitively selected screenshots, private photographs, and images found online.
The images are combined like an emotional bajaderka (a Polish layered dessert traditionally made from mixed leftovers, fragments, and combined remains) — sometimes through color, contrast, or an unexplainable feeling that they simply belong together. The works explore screen aesthetics and digital ways of perceiving images. Meaning often appears only later. And sometimes not at all.
Wiola Stankiewicz is a visual artist born in Elbląg, Poland, currently living and working in Coimbra, Portugal. Her practice focuses on painting, collage, and assemblage, using mixed media techniques and experimental material processes.
Working with icons of popular culture, landscapes, found images, and photographs from her personal archive, Stankiewicz builds a coherent and autonomous visual language based on intuition and process. Her works function as images of an open character, in which meaning emerges from the relationships between image, material, and gesture.
Antonio Bastos turns vulnerability into stage, community into sound and instinct into creation. From electronics to tradition, from improvised lyrics to shared movement, his music is born live and unfolds into a visual, emotional experience. With dozens of releases and festival shows, he was awarded People’s Choice at the IPMA (USA), blending performance with community creation — involving choirs, schools and local groups of all ages. Each concert is a seed sown in the territory, where the audience also becomes creator.
Jhana Meditation for Beginners
The course will start this Saturday at 10am. It will be in studio R at CCB studios. [https://maps.app.goo.gl/rFovxE7eG7HV6uB46](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rFovxE7eG7HV6uB46). We will take a short break in the middle as well. The plan is to go from 10-12 roughly but we may end a little closer to 11:30 depending.

Looking forward! Any questions please just message me.
INNER GUIDANCE - a transformative Movement workshop for women/sisters
ENGLISH:
**INNER GUIDANCE**
**A Transformative Movement Workshop**
**for all beautiful women / sisters**
**Grow · Unfold · Integrate**
The Inner GUIDANCE Workshop is an embodied journey into your inner knowing, wisdom, and clarity. Through free-form movement, dance, and gently guided impulses and intention-setting, you are invited to reconnect with your body as a source of guidance, truth, and trust.
In a supportive and non-judgmental space, we move to alchemize inner obstacles, awaken joy in the body, express a freer, new version of ourselves, and return to our inner center. Gratitude becomes a shared practice, raising our frequency, cultivating unity within ourselves and with others, and opening us to authentic human connection—expressed through the language of our moving bodies and hearts.
This workshop creates space to listen deeply to your inner knowing via the body in movement. You will be supported to just be you in the present moment, allowing and discovering change, strengthening self-trust. Besides dancing mostly for yourself there will be also some partner and group invitations in movement which you can join or not and some physical touch involved, of course all volunteerly. We will end with an relaxing integration time and little sound bath.
No prior dance experience is required. There is no right or wrong way to move—only the willingness to connect with your inner compass: your body.
Move towards your true self, guided from within.
Come just as you are and wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement.
**Energy exchange:** 20 Euro (normal), 15 Euro (reduced)

DEUTSCH:
**INNER GUIDANCE**
**Ein transformativer Bewegungs-Workshop**
**für Frauen / Schwestern**
**Grow - Unfold ·- Integrate**

Evening of Meditation - Access solutions more easily
*There are always more participants coming as regulars or from other platforms than shown here*
\-\-\-
We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection.
These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth.
**This week's topic: Access solutions more easily**
Sometimes, when we face a problem or feel hurt, we tend to analyze it until we become exhausted. There is so much knowledge available that can help, yet for some reason, trying to apply it while in a state of stress often leads to greater disconnection or unsatisfying results. For example, you may say all the psychologically "right" words, yet the wall between you and the other person remains. Let's explore what can help us dissolve conflicts and move into a deeper connection.
For more info see: [www.onenessberlin.com](http://www.onenessberlin.com/)
🎟️ **Entry**: € 10 for walk-ins (in cash or PayPal) just for us to pay for the space or **[get a ticket from € 5 >](https://momence.com/l/dah4nwad)**

Follow the Yoga Sky signs in the yard, and take the elevator to the top floor.
🗓 **When**: Sunday, 7th of June, 19:00 - 20:30
Please arrive 5-10 min earlier to settle down.
You’re welcome, no matter your background or experience. This is what has worked for us over many years and we love to share it with you.
Looking forward to see you,

Whether you’re a student finding your feet, a mother holding everyone else together, or simply someone who’s been quietly getting on with it — this morning is for you.

We’ll share gentle meditation, meaningful conversations, and *warm chai* by the riverside.

Stop Guessing: A Product Person's Guide to AI Adoption
## 🤝 Host Information

Whether you're a product manager, on a product team, or just someone trying to get AI to actually stick at work, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's worth focusing on, what to ignore, and how to drive real, sustained adoption — no guesswork required.

"Metal Slinger" by Rachel Schneider
Join us as we discuss our June pick: Metal Slinger by Rachel Schneider!
Book description:
Even though she's not one of them, Brynn has spent her life among the Alaha, training to be a guard and waiting for the chance to attend the annual market hosted by the Kenta–the very same people who exiled her adopted community to a life at sea. Going to the market is a rite of passage eagerly anticipated by all young guards, but Brynn does not anticipate breaking a century-long peace treaty while there. Nor does she plan for the intense encounter with an enemy soldier that now threatens to unwind the fragile coexistence between their people–and everything Brynn once believed about herself to be true.
Brynn's loyalty to the Alaha is tested when the truth of her identity is brought to light by this soldier who's taken an oath to bring her back to where she belongs. Narrowly escaping death on the violent high seas, Brynn's connection to the Alaha is further tested when she learns about the world of magic she's been denied. She was once certain of her fate and where she belonged, but the dark, knowing eyes of this stranger have her questioning everything, including her heart.
Packed with knife fights and seafaring adventure, METAL SLINGER is the smash-hit start to the romantic fantasy duology, the Fire & Metal series
Drunken Philosophy: Are you really who you think you are? What is the "self"?
I have been studying the question of "self" online with Prof. Ellie Anderson and so I thought a prompt on the "self" might be interesting. Full confession: I had Claude create this prompt and I like it, so here goes:
Imagine a thought experiment that merges two classic puzzles:
> You undergo a procedure, performed neuron by neuron, in which every biological component of your brain is replaced with a functionally identical synthetic substitute. At each step, your behavior, memories, and personality remain unchanged. When the last neuron is swapped, is the consciousness experiencing the world still you? And — more pressingly — was there ever a continuous "you" to begin with?
### Questions to Wrestle With
* If consciousness is purely physical, does the *gradual* nature of the replacement matter, or is it equivalent to being destroyed and rebuilt?
* Could there be a "self" without continuity of experience — even moment to moment, while you sleep?
On a more practical level, consider the simpler case first: **hemispherectomy** patients — people who have had an entire cerebral hemisphere surgically removed — often retain a strong sense of personal identity and continuity. This suggests "you" are not rigidly tied to specific physical material. But does that vindicate the synthetic neuron case, or merely show that identity is more *flexible* than we thought — not that it can survive *complete* substrate replacement?
I used Claude so I could get this out today and let everyone have some time to consider it. Hope to see you at the Oracle. Sorry about the location change two weeks ago. That's what I get for trusting local weather predictions!
