Wie auf dem Bild bereits ersichtlich "streckt" sich das Café, was uns eine besonders geeignete Basis für intensiven Austausch zwischen den Teilnehmern ermöglicht. In our January meetup [Alexander Shabalin](https://github.com/projedi) will talk about the LLVM-based backend in Kotlin and its tracing garbage collector. Alexander is a software engineer at JetBrains who works on Kotlin/Native. Kotlin/Native is one of the backends of the Kotlin compiler. It uses LLVM for code generation and it features a tracing garbage collector. The GC integration is custom and currently doesn't rely on LLVM GC extensions. In this talk we'll take a look at some Kotlin code, the LLVM code generated for it and the reasons behind it. Small snacks and drinks will be available. We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot.
