Bring an instrument, something to sit on, a tablet (or small laptop) if you have one, something to drink, sunscreen, etc ... and let's have a proper session playing our favorite songs in the sunshine. Practice selected ForestMind exercises and include optional moments of shared reflection in a safe, supportive space. These gentle exercises invite you to open your senses, cultivate a feeling of calm and refreshment, and practice being fully present in the moment. Some invitations focus on noticing and kindly accepting your own thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. The method, developed in Finland by Mrs. Sirpa Arvonen, combines researched nature-based health effects with simple mind-skill practices and is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or previous experience. Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a classic summer picnic location only 15 minute ferry ride away from downtown Helsinki. Join us for a tour of the island, and if feeling up for it, check out the various museums located around the island where both the Museum Card and the Helsinki Card grant free entry. Looking for a different kind of philosophical discussion? Volunteers are **randomly assigned one of many philosophical statements** and given **10 minutes** to prepare an argument. Possible statements include *Free will exists*, *Lying is sometimes morally justified*, *It is better to be happy than to know the truth*, and many more. Each volunteer then gives a **5-minute defence** of their assigned claim. This is followed by a **15-minute group discussion**, where participants are encouraged to ask probing questions, raise objections, and help refine the argument. The process then repeats with the next volunteer and a new statement. No prior experience in philosophy or debating is required—just curiosity and a willingness to think.
