¿A dónde pertenezco?

🚀 Rebuild the Stack: Ways of Working in the AI Era
**What it takes to work as a Product Trio in an AI-first world?** Product Tank Barcelona is back — and this time we're bringing the full squad. This June, we're co-hosting ProductTank Barcelona at **G2's brand new Barcelona office** for a conversation that's long overdue: what does cross-functional collaboration actually look like when AI changes everything about how we build? **Three voices. One stage.** We'll hear from a PM, an Engineer, and a Designer — each sharing their perspective on what it takes to work as a product trio in an AI-first world. No silos. No hand-offs. Just honest lessons from teams doing it in practice. Together, they'll explore: * What the "Single Stack Builder" model means in practice * Why shipping a feature is no longer the goal — driving outcomes is the only measure of success * How PMs, designers, and engineers prototype together, teach each other, and actually move the needle on OKRs 🎤 **Meet the Speakers** **Karine K. Nascimento** — Managing VP of Product, G2 Karine leads buyer product across G2's Barcelona hub, overseeing G2.AI, G2, Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice following G2's acquisition of Gartner Digital Markets. Previously Product Growth at N26 and a Kellogg executive alumna, she foments an AI-first product culture, buyer-centric strategy, and scaling cross-functional teams. She's also a co-organizer of ProductTank. **Meydjer Luzzoli** — Senior Engineering Manager, G2. Leading buyer experience engineering across G2, Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice. With 15+ years in software, he knows how to modernize systems, align teams, and make execution move faster. His current focus is making AI part of how Product Trios actually build. **Gabriela Pérez Cuervo** — UX Director, Gabriela shapes the end-to-end experience for buyers and sellers across G2's marketplace. With 10+ years in UX — from agency work at Cognizant Netcentric to in-house product at XING to leading design at G2 — she knows how to set the vision, drive impact, and get things shipped. 📍 **Location:** G2 Barcelona — Cloudworks22@ Carrer de Pere IV, 64 - Planta 3 Sant Martí, 08005 Barcelona 🗓 **Date:** Tuesday, June 17th 🕒 Doors open at 6:30 PM \| Talks start at 7 PM sharp 🎟 **RSVPs fill fast** — please update yours at least 24h in advance if your plans change so someone on the waitlist can join. ![](https://a.slack-edge.com/production-standard-emoji-assets/16.0/apple-medium/1f44b.png)
21st BcnRust Meetup
21st BcnRust Meetup
We’re thrilled to announce the next edition of the BcnRust Meetup, this time hosted by **[Protofy](https://protofy.xyz/)**! Join us for an evening exploring two very different but equally ambitious Rust projects: an AI-native virtual machine that rethinks how code is executed, and a distributed task queue built as a hands-on journey into async Rust, concurrency, and fault-tolerant systems. Whether you're interested in language runtimes, AI agents, distributed systems, or simply seeing how Rust enables bold ideas, this meetup is for you. **Driver: An Agentic VM in Rust** by [Cristian Sánchez](https://www.linkedin.com/in/cr3at0r/) Most virtual machines are deterministic by design. LLMs break that. But what if AI wasn't an external API on top, but a native execution primitive inside the VM itself? Driver is a Rust VM where AI is a first-class execution primitive. The stdlib is aware of whether it's being invoked by deterministic bytecode or by an LLM-generated action and behaves accordingly. We'll cover the practical decisions behind the core VM, and the toolkit around it. **Aether: Learning Async Rust by building a Distributed Task Queue** by [Arnau Berenguer](https://www.linkedin.com/in/arnau-berenguer-jimenez/) Building a distributed system is a great way to learn async Rust because you run into all the hard parts for real. In this talk I'll walk through Aether, a personal project of a task queue that lets you submit and run Python scripts on a cluster from a CLI. We'll cover the system architecture, how to handle multiple concurrent tasks sharing state, how to handle loss of connection, and propagating cancellation signals on concurrent tasks over the network. Along the way we'll see the honest lessons learned and what makes async Rust hard but fun. **Why Attend?** * Explore advanced Rust applications, from AI-native runtimes to distributed infrastructure. * Learn practical lessons about virtual machine design, async programming, concurrency, and fault tolerance. * Discover how experienced Rust developers approach complex systems and architectural trade-offs. * Connect with Barcelona's Rust community and exchange ideas with fellow engineers, makers, and enthusiasts. * Get inspired by real-world projects that push Rust beyond the usual web services and CLI tools. Whether you're a Rust beginner curious about what's possible, or a seasoned developer looking to dive deeper into systems programming, you'll leave with new ideas, technical insights, and plenty to discuss. Let’s build, learn, and geek out over Rust together! 🦀 **Streaming**: We will stream it via YouTube so you can also subscribe to our [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@bcnrust) to get notified when we go live.

Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration! This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.

Stop Guessing: A Product Person's Guide to AI Adoption
## 🤝 Host Information A co-hosted event by ProductTank Columbus & Women in Product Columbus 💡 About the Workshop AI adoption is stalling across organizations — not because of a lack of motivation or tools, but because it's fundamentally a behavior design challenge. This hands-on workshop applies proven Behavior Design models and methods to help you move from a vague organizational wish to boost AI adoption to 3-5 concrete, testable interventions you can act on starting tomorrow. Whether you're a product manager, on a product team, or just someone trying to get AI to actually stick at work, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's worth focusing on, what to ignore, and how to drive real, sustained adoption — no guesswork required. 🛠️ What to Bring Laptop: Fully charged and ready to go. More benefits in the hands of our disabled Veterans. We created Smart Search, the world’s largest consumer of Amazon Textract, right when GenAI began reshaping what’s possible. Since then, we’ve built a suite of AI‑driven solutions that transform this data into real, measurable outcomes—accelerating benefits decisions for our Nation’s Veterans. Join us for a focused conversation on how an outcome‑driven approach to AI is helping us boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and deliver faster results for those who have served. This is a follow up to the AWS re:Invent 2023 "Intelligent Document Processing with Gen AI for Public Sector" presentation. About Speaker: Cameron Williams is a Senior Technical Project Manager and cross-functional technical leader at Booz Allen Hamilton with 15+ years of experience architecting and evolving scalable, cloud-native systems, from greenfield development to complex enterprise modernization. https://www.linkedin.com/in/cameronw711/ **THANK YOU** *Franklin University* for hosting our meetup!
