Troll evening run with BBQ
Come join us for a run/jog/walk.
A troll run as Thomas Dambo has an exhibit at Arken.
This will be an A-B run with A beginning at Arken museum ending at B residential house for BBQ.
Arrows will be drawn on the trail for return to A for those wishing to retrieve their bicycle or vehicle.
Bring your own main dishes to self barbecue. Salads will be provided. And any drinks you wish to consume after the circle. There is a Lidl very close to B where you can purchase these if you forget or can't store it during out on trail.
We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in âabout usâ.
How it works: we donât know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10km trail for runners with shortcuts down to approximately 5 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize.
Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 18:30
Donât worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed since 1980, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 10 to 30 people) just show up.
Four-legged friends are welcome!
We never cancel.
See you there!
