âDo We Really Understand What Weâre Building?â - Hands-on Example Mapping
Back in August, we explored how Design Thinking can help us uncover and validate the right problems. But even when we agree on what to build, things often go wrong, not because of bad solutions, but because we donât fully understand what the problem actually means in practice.
In this session, weâll build on that idea and focus on the next step: turning vague ideas into something concrete, shared, and testable.
Using Example Mapping - a lightweight technique from Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) - weâll work in small groups to:
* Break down a feature into rules, examples, and questions
* Surface hidden assumptions and edge cases
* Align on what the behaviour of a system should actually look like
If the previous session was about finding the right problem, this one is about understanding it well enough to build it right.
This is a hands-on workshop. Be prepared to participate fully and add to the energy of the room. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Oranienburger Str. 17, 10178 Berlin
https://maps.app.goo.gl/DL5ifV3XzDSkJeAq6
This Asian restaurant has a cozy atmosphere which gives the opportunity to have meaningful conversations.
They offer a good mix of Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. I would recommend this to vegetarians as well as vegans.
*Who is this meetup for:*
1\. Asians who want to practice German and/or English\.
2\. German speaking individuals who are studying \(preferably\) Japanese\, Korean\, Mandarin or Cantonese\.
3\. Anyone who is interested in cultural exchange and wants to socialize\.
*What you can expect:*
1\. A professionally organized meetup that can adapt to any changes given the current situation\.
2\. A Walk & Talk to break the ice\.
3\. A collaborating venue where you can further socialize with other members\.
***
Whenever you attend a meetup, the most common as well as first question you get is: "Where are you from?"
You probably heard this question a million times. Well, at least I did.
From my own experience of attending over 200 international meetups in various countries such as Germany, Japan, Australia and Thailand, I can tell you that asking for the name is a better approach.
âA personâs name is to that person, the sweetest, most important sound in any language.â - Dale Carnegie
If you really want to connect with like-minded people you should remember their name, but you don't have to remember every persons name you've talked you. Be picky about that, don't be me who can somehow remember everyones name easily.
Don't tell yourself sth. like "I'm bad at remembering names." It's all about developing the habit of asking for a name and keep the conversation going on.
Furthermore, you want to learn German or any other language. Learning the local language is crucial to connect with the locals and developing a true friendship.
This can be accomplished with immersion. My goal is to inspire you to go out of your comfort zone and improve yourself each time you join this meetup.
Berlin Sprachcafé. Learn and practise German easily (A1-A2)
The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome! Please try to be on time so we can all get started together :)
We mainly practise on a beginner/lower intermediate level and adapt to everyone's prior level of German.
The Language Café will focus on teaching you the most important words and phrases and basic grammar in German. The content of the course is adapted to real life. (everyday life in Germany, dealing with authorities, etc.) We will cover different topics every week and you can join us anytime, since the topics do not necessarily build on each other.
The Sprachcafé is for free.
\*If you cannot make it please cancel your participation so someone else from the waiting list can join, thank you!\*

Access Bars Class - English
Thereâs a peace and relaxation possible for everyone, that can occur with total ease, with a simple body process, called Access Bars Âź
Access Bar is like hitting the delete button on your computerâs hard drive. Negative thought patterns and mental chatter can be released and a space for peace, ease and new possibilities opens up. Best, everyone can learn this body process in a one day class. You can give the BarsÂź to your family and friends and to your clients. And of course you can let the Bars run also on yourself.
Access Bars Âź and Bodyprocess classes in English take place once a month, classes in German twice a month. Just ask for your desired date.
Would this class be a contribution to your body, to your life, your business? Then I would like to have you in a one-day Access Bars.
Consider this your invitation to a totally different paradigm for healing, change and transformation in all aspects of your life.
The Access Bars class fee is 380 Euro, Practitioner License, Manual, Charts, food and drinks included.
PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION IS ONLY POSSIBLE BY PHONE.

Java is Data!
Data is at the center of any organization. So it stands to reason that data should be at the center of how we design and write our Java applications. In this talk we are going to look at how recent changes to the Java language; Records, Pattern Matching, Seal Hierarchies, are enabling Java applications to be written in a Data-Oriented Programming (DOP) paradigm. We will look at the core concepts of DOP, and how it compares and contrasts with the OOP approach familiar to many Java developers.
What If Your AI Could Be a Team? - Chad Green
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
