Hello piano players: Our next meeting will be at Bret Empie's apartment on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 5 pm. Thank you for hosting, Bret! Bret lives in Westlake Towers: 7420 Westlake Ter Apt 204 Bethesda MD. It's a 16-floor tan brick building. It is not the dark red brick building across the street. Visitors don't need a parking pass. Be careful not to go to a smaller 4-story building called West Spring, whose address is, confusingly, 7420 Lakeview Drive. At both building entrances, there is a call box. Use the A-Z buttons to scroll to "Empie, Malcolm" and press the CALL button. Bret will buzz you in. Malcolm Empie is Bret’s official name. Ride-On Bus 47 comes close to Westlake Towers. Other buses stop at the Montgomery Mall Transit Center, 0.6 mile away. Bret's piano is a beautiful 1913 Steinway A, fully renovated inside and out. It is a treat to play.
