The pickleball courts are situated on the far side of the playground, past the swing sets and picnic area. These courts (are] strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do not offer reservation for public use. The courts are frequently unoccupied, but sometimes few people utilize the courts. We've created a WhatsApp group for our Meetup community to help everyone stay connected and get event updates more quickly. This game is located at the DC/Maryland Border in Silver Spring. We'll use the Tennis or Futsal Court at Takoma Community Center where there are Night Lights shining on an enclosed arena. This area is enjoyable because it allows for more touches on the ball, with more movement around the field. THIS IS ON A TENNIS COURT. WE DO NOT WEAR CLEATS. WE WEAR FUTSAL SHOES, TENNIS SHOES; ANYTHING WITH NO SPIKES. Pinnies and goals will be provided. Bring a ball if you have one. We usually get 10+ more players not on meetup — we'll add those to whatever we get here and see if we can have a game. More than competitive, we all want to play good futsal and make it fun and entertaining for all. No warm sided matches here — new and advanced players are welcomed. Here, we want to get active and have fun in the evenings after work

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, we want YOU to join us! New players are always welcome to come out and play touch rugby with us - all you need is a good attitude and a willingness to learn. Also, bring a water bottle, a mouth guard, and cleats (if you have them - they're not necessary right away). Our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know! Bring your energy, your enthusiasm, and most importantly, your love for the game. Let's make this practice a blast!

A level competitive sand volleyball, doubles triples or quads depending on how many RSVP Court has lights, we will be playing on court 2. Cost is $14 pp.

You see, the ideal number of players for a pickup soccer game is perhaps 6x6 - 8x8; some players won't attend if they think the turnout will be low, and others will just assume the game will be cancelled even though we always play. (As a practical matter, smaller games are less fun since the comics won't have the audience they need, but, they do have two hidden benefits: shorter, more intense games/workouts and fewer face kicks/yellow cards. So we play no matter how small or large.) So non-RSVPers are a little short sighted, since they don't seem to want to maximize their own enjoyment in the long run. THIS GAME IS BASED ON AN OLD GAME , SO MOST OFTEN YOU WILL NOTICE THAT PEOPLE ( THE FOUNDERS) ARE ADDED BEFORE THE RSVP EVEN OPENS. After that, few spots are available for first reserves and the Host has the right to choose the added people from the wait list (Based on dependability, punctuality and cooperation) ***No wait list show ups*** No-shows will be taken seriously and you lose your privilege to RSVP the next game. This is an early game, so you have to cancel the night before. If you cancel late, it will be considered no show. Please wear turf shoes (no cleats) in this field. Please use a clear profile picture so it is easier for us to know each other. if you don't have a clear picture, the host might cancel your rsvp.
