Unfortunately, repeated no-shows may need to be marked as such on Meetup. * As this is a free gathering, there may occasionally be last-minute cancellations or no-shows. As a result, the final group size may be smaller than expected. We'll still be there and look forward to meeting everyone who attends. * We'd appreciate it if you could arrive on time and purchase a drink and/or food from the cafe, as they are kindly reserving space for our group. * Strictly no pitching of products and services during or after the meetup please. We're happy for any of the connections you make to continue naturally, without any hard selling. * Event photos may be taken during the gathering for social media sharing. We’ll always be happy to tag you if you’d like **About The Rewilding** The Rewilding is a small, informal community for women to come together and connect over the shared experience of modern womanhood — through conversation, books, films, learning, culture and the many things we're all quietly trying to navigate in life. Warm, welcoming and low-pressure, our gatherings are designed for women who enjoy thoughtful conversation, meaningful connection and curiosity about the world around them. The Rewilding is rooted in a simple idea: that women need more opportunities to gather, reflect, learn and connect with one another in ways that feel warm, thoughtful and real.

It is superior to steady walking for lowering blood pressure, improving aerobic capacity, reducing visceral fat, and enhancing insulin sensitivity. **Key Health Benefits of Interval Walk Training (IWT):** * **Improved Cardiovascular Health:** IWT strengthens the heart and enhances blood circulation by raising and lowering the heart rate, similar to a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session. * **Superior Metabolic Control:** It is particularly effective for managing blood sugar and increasing insulin sensitivity, making it ideal for managing or preventing type 2 diabetes. * **Weight Management & Metabolism:** The "afterburn effect" from high-intensity intervals continues to burn calories after the workout ends, aiding in fat loss. * **Increased Aerobic Capacity & Physical Fitness:** Studies indicate that switching paces consistently improves overall stamina and endurance better than continuous walking. * **Muscle & Bone Strengthening:** It strengthens the legs and core, while improving bone density, which is crucial for preventing osteoporosis in older adults. * **Improved Mental Health:** It aids in stress reduction, improves sleep quality, boosts energy, and elevates mood through the release of endorphins. * **Accessible and Sustainable:** The training is low-risk and highly adaptable to various fitness levels, making it popular for improving longevity and mobility in adults over 60. https://www.brownhealth.org/be-well/interval-walking-health-benefits-japanese-walking-method Date: 4 July 2026 (Sat) Registration Time: 4.00 p.m. Start Time: 4.15 p.m. Start point: Changi Airport MRT Station (Green Line) T2 Arrival Hall waiting area near Swensen restaurant End Time: 9.00 p.m. End point: Stadium MRT Station Dinner: No stop for dinner.
