We design spaces every day—our public spaces, digital platforms, social gatherings, and cultural events. But how often do we pause to ask: **who can truly access them?** What does real inclusion look like in practice? In this session of **Kudwa Kafe**, we will explore access and inclusion through a framework grounded in international research on (in)accessible spaces. Together, we’ll look at access from both a **micro lens**—the small details we often overlook—and a **macro lens**—the wider systems that shape participation and belonging. We are meeting at Centro Shiva, a space where Persian tradition and contemporary art merge. What makes this place special? * The Essence of Iran: The center is steeped in Persian hospitality and aesthetics, offering a direct cultural bridge between the East and Barcelona. * Monumental Art and Symbolism: You will see works inspired by Iran’s rich visual heritage, sparking fascinating topics for conversation. **Descubre la Vila de Gràcia y su fascinante historia con una ruta por sus principales plazas + cervecita** La Vila de Gràcia, **revolucionaria, popular y romántica**, ha sabido conservar su carácter. Desde **las encantadoras plazas del núcleo antiguo hasta mercados, bares y tiendas repletas de gente, antiguas fábricas y talleres, asociaciones centenarias, pequeñas torres modernistas y la poco conocida Casa Vicens**, uno de los primeros edificios diseñados por Gaudí. Si te ayudan a entender más y a hablar mejor están genial. El plan de este grupo es mejorar tu español con juegos, actividades reales y ejercicios para hablar más. Con la excusa de los juegos y las actividades corregimos la mayoría de errores: Palabras difíciles, confundir pasados, preposiciones, verbos que significan muchas cosas, ser y estar en pasado, frases con dos verbos o mas, subjuntivo, expresiones coloquiales, y también los errores "culturales”: ¿De que forma usamos los españoles el idioma en diferentes situaciones? La gente que participa es (casi siempre) muy simpática, y normalmente deja reviews muy positivas de las clases. Si te cuadra el plan ven a practicar tu español y hablamos de comida, de viajes, de trabajo, de cultura, de Internet, de temas locales, de noticias y de muchas más cosas. Para participar hay una contribución de solo 10€ por persona/ clase de 2 horas (materiales incluidos, bebidas no incluidas) o de 30€ por 4 clases. Vente y hablamos. Rafa. \-\-\-\- Hi! If they help you to understand more and to speak better, they are great. The main plan in this group is to improve your Spanish with games, real activities and exercises to speak more. All the games and activities are a good excuse to correct the most difficult/ frequent mistakes: Difficult words, confusing past tenses, prepositions, verbs that mean many things, ser and estar in the past, sentences with two or more verbs, subjuntive, colloquial expressions, and also “cultural" mistakes: How we, Spanish people, use the language in different situations? People participating are (almost always) very nice, and usually leave very positive reviews of the classes.
