Berlin. Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences
Berlin. Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences
**Designing the Next Generation of AI Experiences** AI products are evolving faster than ever. But while interfaces become smarter, trust, clarity, and usability often lag behind. Join us for an evening exploring how designers shape AI experiences people can actually understand, trust, and use with confidence. Together with leading voices from the design industry, we’ll discuss the challenges of designing for AI-driven products, emerging UX patterns, and what it takes to build meaningful human-centered experiences in an increasingly automated world. The evening will feature several keynotes, followed by a panel discussion and networking with Berlin’s design community. **Speakers & Talks** ## Speakers & Talks **[Rafaela Stamboroski](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rstamboroski/?utm_source=luma)** Model Behavior Designer for Joule at SAP **Talk: Guarding the Guardrails: The Designer’s Role as Behavior Becomes the Product** Designers have always created shared context: aligning people, decisions, workflows, and business goals around user needs. In AI-native products, this skill becomes even more critical. Strategy and systems thinking turn into behavior alignment: shaping how AI acts, responds, and collaborates with humans. This talk explores why the designer’s role is not shrinking in the AI paradigm. Instead, designers are moving upstream: defining guardrails, influencing product strategy, and helping businesses deliver AI value safely and meaningfully. **[Abanoub Awny](https://www.linkedin.com/in/abanoubawny/?utm_source=luma)** Sr. UX Designer & AI Innovator @ SAP Signavio, Founder of [Unblind UX](https://www.linkedin.com/company/unblindux/?utm_source=luma) **Talk: Your Next User Isn’t Human** AI is no longer just a feature inside digital products. It is becoming an active participant in how products are used, interpreted, and operated. As agents begin to navigate workflows, consume system structures, interpret content, make recommendations, and collaborate with humans, design must evolve beyond screens and interactions. This talk challenges designers, product teams, and developers to rethink what “user experience” means when the next user of your system may not be human. **[Anna Herasymenko](https://www.linkedin.com/in/annaisdesigner/?utm_source=luma)** Staff Product Designer at Meta, working at the intersection of AI, systems thinking, and product craft. **Talk: Vibe Coding for Craft** AI products can't be designed in static tools. The behavior is the experience — and behavior only shows up when real APIs and real data are in the loop. Designing in Figma is like planning a meal with pre-chopped ingredients. Vibe coding is actually cooking it: discovering the oven runs slow, the recipe has a typo, a spice is missing. That gap between planning and cooking is where craft lives. This talk reframes AI-assisted coding as a repeatable workflow for designing AI experiences: stress-testing edge cases, surfacing the failure modes static design tools hide, and closing the gap between looks right and feels right. **[Kate Hofmann](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kate-hofmann-ux/?utm_source=luma)** UX design leader with an enterprise focus and experience building and managing large design teams and multimillion-dollar design portfolios. Worked closely with organisations like SAP, Boeing, Microsoft, UBS, DHL, Flexera. **Talk: The Last Dashboard. What enterprise software looks like when AI becomes the primary interface.** For decades we designed enterprise software around the same assumption that users must navigate dashboards, analyse data, interpret reports, and decide what to do next. For ±20 years we’ve been obsessed with reducing clicks, then reducing forms, reducing friction. But as software takes over more of the analysis and decision-support tasks - do users still need interface at all? What is left for UX to design, and what becomes the role of UX? **Agenda** **18:00 — Doors Open & Networking** **18:30 — Keynote Presentations** **20:00 — Panel Discussion** **20:45 — Community Networking** **Venue Host** Hosted by **[SAP Office](https://www.sap.com/germany/about/berlin.html)** in Berlin — a front-runner and thought leader in enterprise application software, focusing on innovating parts of the core business, exploring trends, and developing new technologies. **Hosts** This event is organized by [Projector Global Community](https://www.linkedin.com/company/projector-global-community/?utm_source=luma) ambassadors (by [Projector Institute](https://prjctr.com/en/about?utm_source=luma)): * [Emiliia Karpiuk](https://www.linkedin.com/in/emiliiakarpiuk/?utm_source=luma) * [Julia Savchuk](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yuliia-savchuk/?utm_source=luma) * [Yuliia Kovalova](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yuliiakovalovapm/?skipRedirect=true) **Photos & Video** Please note that we will be taking photos at this event. Offener Leseabend
Offener Leseabend
## Wo & Wann? *Unfortunately at the moment, it's only possible to present German texts. Unpublished texts that are already translated into German are highly welcome!* ## Was erwartet Sie? Also – nicht gleich verschwinden! Dranbleiben. Lyrik: Welche Art lyrischer Text?)

FLow - vocal soundbath and breathwork meditation + freestyle vocal session
🕢 Doors open at 18:30 and sessions start at 19:00. Freestyle vocal workout at and play session. €8-20 😌 Flow is a state of being… an experience when you allow yourself to be 100% fully engaged in the present moment in a feedback loop between clarity and satisfaction. It is an undeniable sensation where things seem to be more effortless, pleasurable, in sync, and you can easily sense a connection with something greater than yourself; this is what we will create…: • a connected and mindful meditation where it is possible to blissfully surf the cutting edge of the present moment together… • a game where it’s possible to feel excited and calm in the same moment, and everyone can win as much as they like… Scott Bolden, founder of Das Baumhaus Berlin will share some very easy, practical and effective methods developed during the last 12 years of facilitating the “Improvisational Groove Orchestra” (I.G.O.) improv vocal jam sessions. Within 20 minutes participants learn to use the common sound space to create resonance in the form of improvisational music where it is quite common to experience some real flow moments… It is very easy to participate, no musical talent or training is required so anyone is welcome to join. All of the session is done with eyes closed to avoid visual distractions and keep focus on the co-created sound space. During these sessions we will also have short breaks for feedback and refreshment. Important – Please be on time. It is very important to understand the methodology and warm up in the group before joining in! 🎤 @21:00 - Freestyle vocal workshop and practice session. €8-15 Have you ever wanted to learn how to do freestyle vocalizations? Walk of Change #1: Raus aus Unklarheit
Walk of Change #1: Raus aus Unklarheit

Mt Kilimanjaro Trek! One of the 7 Summits. Join us on this bucket list adventure
Mt Kilimanjaro Trek! One of the 7 Summits. Join us on this bucket list adventure
**Our Meetup is off to another hiking adventure! Mt Kilimanjaro, as the tallest mountain in Africa, is included in the 7 Summits of the world.** **It is a bucket-list item for all hard-core hikers and mountain lovers.** We did this trek with Meetup in the summer of 2024 and it was a true experience of a lifetime (see photos below) Let's get to some numbers. It is 5,895m/19,340ft BUT . . . our starting elevation for the trek is 3795m/12541ft As such elevation gain is 2100m/6799ft To compare Everest Base Camp trek, is about 2754m/9035ft elevation change. And Mt Whitney is about 1828m/6000ft elevation change. The key to being able to succeed in this endeavor lays in the route and the support system. We are taking the Lemosho Route via the Northern Circuit. The Northern Circuit route is the longest and newest of the seven established Kilimanjaro routes. It's one of the best routes because it has the best acclimatization profile. This results in one of the highest summit success rates. Add to that stunning views, and comparatively relaxed pace. It is also much less crowded than the other Kilimanjaro routes. As far as our support system: We will be accompanied by experienced guides, porters and cooks. They are certified, ensuring our safety and comfort. Porters will carry our gear. We will have a high ratio of guides to hikers. Our guides will go our pace and support each and everyone of us, regardless of fitness level and pace. In other words...you go your own speed and we all get there safe. More about our trek/trip. As with all our international trips, we picked the best season/time of year to go for weather and wildlife. Lemosho and Northern Circuit is a scenically spectacular and varied route. At the lower elevations it has an abundance of wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, eland and lion which come over to forage during dry season. **Each of our trips is personally crafted to offer the best places and best use of time.** *But I don't have the needed gear?!* You don't need much more than the standard trekker's equipment. We will provide you with a list of what is already included and what can be rented there. *Does this include food?* All meals on the trek potion are included and a cook travels with us! *What is lodging like?* We are sleeping in new and comfortable tents (carried during the day by porters) *I am new at this.* That's OK. We do plenty of prep Zooms before we depart. And in California we have a number of local outdoor day or weekend outings you can test out with us. *How dangerous is this? Mantra Drum Circle for Rain
Mantra Drum Circle for Rain
Join us to drum for rain! The drum circle will be at the Guru Rinpoche statue at the entrance to the Peace Park, across the street from the temple. We will be chanting sacred mantras as we drum, praying for abundant rain to ease the drought. All are welcome! Please bring any percussion instruments you have - the more the merrier! If you don't have any drums, there are typically extra available. Either way, you can chant along with everyone. In the event of inclement weather, we usually drum as long as we can before the storm starts, or wait it out and start a little late. We hold out until the last minute to cancel so if the weather seems iffy, keep an eye on our Facebook page for announcements. The DC region is currently experiencing moderate to severe drought. Many other regions of the world are also experiencing drought conditions. We will dedicate our prayers to bringing life-giving rain to all who need it!

🥘👉 Inner Coach Reset + Community Potluck Lunch (Ashburn)
🥘👉 Inner Coach Reset + Community Potluck Lunch (Ashburn)
⚡ Reset your direction. Meet someone unexpected. Walk away with fresh clarity. Join us for a relaxed **small-group afternoon event** that blends a light **Inner Coach conversation experience** with a **community potluck lunch**. In February we hosted our first **Inner Coach event**, and many attendees said it helped them notice something powerful — the voice inside that quietly guides better decisions when life gets complicated. This event builds on that idea. Instead of overthinking the past, we’ll explore how to **reset direction for what’s next** — through thoughtful conversation, new perspectives, and the kind of questions that spark real insight. We’ll start with a few short conversation rounds designed to spark reflection, humor, and perspective — and then continue the discussion over food and relaxed conversation. Think **good food, grounded people, and real conversations about what comes next in life.** Held in our **Startup Garage** — a bright, comfortable living-room style space inside a single-family home. (Couches, food, conversation — **not an actual garage** 😊) *** ## **🥘 Potluck Lunch** If you're able, bring something small to share. Homemade or store-bought — both welcome. A dish you enjoy making. A dish that always works Or simply something easy from the store If you're busy, come anyway — the goal is **community, not perfection**. We’ll share a relaxed **afternoon potluck lunch** while continuing meaningful conversations with people navigating their next chapter. *** ## **What You’ll Experience** • Light conversation rounds designed to spark insight • Fresh perspectives from people navigating similar life transitions • Humor, perspective, and grounded conversation • A relaxed environment where ideas and connections happen naturally *** ## **Who Typically Attends** • Professionals in their 30s–40s–50s • Entrepreneurs and builders • Divorced or separated individuals navigating what’s next • People who prefer thoughtful conversation over surface-level small talk Whether you're **resetting direction, building something new, or simply meeting grounded people**, this event is designed for honest connection and fresh perspective. *** Most attendees are navigating life and growth with **curiosity, clarity, and a sense of humor.** 📍 Hosted in a spacious living-room setting inside a single-family home (Ashburn – 20147). Full address and parking details are emailed **2–3 days before the event.** 🌐 Learn more about the community [https://midlifereinvention.co](https://midlifereinvention.co) *** If you're curious about the **Inner Coach vs Inner Critic concept**, here’s a short introduction: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtgoDgqppGI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtgoDgqppGI)
