Speed Dating in The City | Ages 25 to 38
Speed Dating in The City | Ages 25 to 38
BOOK YOUR TICKET 👉🏼 [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/speed-dating-in-the-city-152/). All the ingredients for an energising Friday night speed dating event are in place—a top venue, a first-class host, and 36 outgoing single guests. Are you in? Nestled in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral and just a 2-minute walk from St Paul’s tube station, The Happenstance is a stunning bar and lounge that sets the scene for your fun, fast-paced Friday night of meeting new faces. Our popular event takes place in a private area of the venue, creating a relaxed, comfortable, and civilised atmosphere—perfect for an evening filled with great company and a host of interesting introductions. Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met. Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order. During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only. Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening. At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches. If you have any questions about the event or how it works, feel free to contact Ollie at 07517 065 492 or ollie@itsadate.club.

Learn to Meditate - Fridays in Mayfair @ 5.45pm - Free Sahaja Yoga Class
Learn to Meditate - Fridays in Mayfair @ 5.45pm - Free Sahaja Yoga Class
Learn to Meditate - Fridays in Mayfair @ 5.45pm - 6.45pm Join our Free Sahaja Yoga Class Venue: Mayfair Library 25 South Audley St, London, W1K 2PB Achieve Yoga & enter into a state of ‘thoughtless awareness’. In the heart of London @ Mayfair Library, there is a weekly class in free meditation. **Achieve Yoga & Learn to Meditate in 2026 - 5:45- 6:45pm Fridays** The first experience of Sahaja Yoga meditation is called Self Realisation. With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we generally sit on chairs to achieve Yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. As such no Asanas (exercises) are required, no mat or special clothing ## What is Meditation? Meditation is a state of mental silence or rest, where our attention is aware, but not engrossed in thinking. It is known as ‘thoughtless awareness’. It is achieved when the indwelling Kundalini energy awakens and carries the individual attention beyond the level of the 6th chakra, into the seventh chakra, known as Sahasrara. ## Yoga! It is here we achieve Yoga! As the mind finds rest and silence, we become able to feel our inner Self (Spirit). This can be tangibly felt, it actually manifests, as a cool wind, breath or breeze, often experienced on the palms of the hands or at the top (crown) of the head. It is a spontaneous, effortless natural happening. Each week many people experience this actualisation at one of the many free meditation classes on offer ## How to get into balance? The secret of the Sahaja Yoga method resides within us, at the base of the spinal chord, in a triangular bone called the “sacrum bone”. Since our birth in our sacrum bone dwells an inner energy called in Sanskrit Kundalini; it is characterised as a feminine energy and once activated, this energy rises along our spine until it reaches the top of the head and finally connects with the universal energy. This union is called “yoga” in Sanskrit. ## Kundalini As our indwelling Kundalini rises through the central channel, this benevolent feminine energy activates the chakras, removing all the impurities from them and nourishing the entire inner system. It is through this happening that we are elevated into ‘thoughtless awareness’, the mental silence of true meditation www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk Free Meditation & Yoga Classes in London Want to experience it now – Experience Self Realisation now – Guided Meditation ([https://www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk/articles/experience-your-self-realisation-online-now/](https://www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk/articles/experience-your-self-realisation-online-now/ "https://www.sahajayogalondon.co.uk/articles/experience-your-self-realisation-online-now/")) ###

A short walk from London Bridge Station, you’ll find The Refinery Bankside — a chilled, open-plan coffee bar and a brilliant spot for a brew and meeting someone new. And if the date’s going well, take a stroll along the nearby South Bank beside the River Thames. Whether you’re an espresso enthusiast, a matcha man, or the queen of chamomile, your first cup’s on us at this event full of warm introductions and laid-back laughs. And if you’re feeling a little *chai*, don’t worry — our host will be on hand to help everyone feel at ease and enjoy a great afternoon. Your host will guide each changeover to ensure everyone meets all attendees over the course of the afternoon. About halfway through, there will be a 15-minute break — perfect for stretching your legs, topping up your drink, or chatting with fellow guests you haven’t yet met. After that, we’ll jump right back into the second round of dates. Once the final date wraps up, the bar stays open for more networking — or why not take a stroll along the South Bank with your newfound connections? After the event, you can log in to your dashboard to leave feedback and find out if any mutual matches were made. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ollie on 07517 065 492 or Ollie@itsadate.club. A street photography journey to Brick Lane
A street photography journey to Brick Lane
**Level up your street portraits** Our street photography skills development series continues, this time journeying to the vibrant backdrop of **Brick Lane**. In our previous sessions, we worked on our timing, framing, managing multiple subjects and layering, creating a project, and graphical street shots. Now, it’s time to turn our focus toward **Street Portraiture.** In this session, we are shifting from capturing the scene to capturing the main character. Brick Lane provides the perfect location, with its mix of locals and visitors offering many opportunities to find a subject to photography. We will explore how to balance of environment and subject, learning how to use the area’s textures and street art to complement, rather than distract from, the person in your frame. We will concentrate on the posed portrait, the interaction, and taking the best shot you can of your subject to make the most of the time they are gifting you. This workshop will help you build the confidence and technical skill to create compelling portraits on the fly. **What to expect** * **Human Connection:** Learn techniques for approaching subjects or capturing authentic, unposed moments. * **Environmental Context:** Use Brick Lane’s unique urban landscape to complement your subject. * **Lighting:** Utilise the available light in the street to master lighting in a portrait context. * **Community:** Share the afternoon with fellow enthusiasts and take another step forward in your journey towards mastering street photography. **The gear** * **Gear:** A camera or a smartphone (and plenty of memory card space!). * **Comfort:** A pair of reliable walking shoes. * **Mindset:** A determination to have a great time and a curiosity for the people you meet. **The extras** After the workshop, the learning doesn't stop. You’ll be invited to join the **Tap on the Shoulder** WhatsApp group to share your best shots and receive constructive feedback from the group. Afterwards, we will head to a local pub for refreshments and banter, where we can get to know each other a bit better. **Join us** **Bring the family!** Children are welcome to participate, and attendance is **free for those under 15** (use discount code **UNDER15**). > **Note: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. To respect everyone’s time, I will wait only 5 minutes for late arrivals before we begin our journey through the streets.** **What are you waiting for?
