Task-Buddies ✅ & Brunch 🥐: Let's work and study together! 📖 💻 ✍️
Welcome to the **Task-Buddies** event of the **Zürich Productivity Circle**, where we bring together like-minded individuals to work on personal goals and share the experience of growth in a supportive community.
Maybe you are building a business or side hustle, studying for a course, learning a new (programming) language, figuring the tax system out, writing code, prose, or poetry, researching new stocks for your portfolio, tackling your German homework, or upskilling for your job. In all of these cases and more, this is the perfect space for you.
In fact, productivity does not end there. Even if you just want to read a psychology book to resolve a personal struggle, sketch a mountain, listen to podcasts, organize your week, respond to unanswered emails and messages, enjoy a novel, or just reflect and meditate, you are very welcome here.
For any task that adds positively to your life and can be done sitting down with others (exception: anything noisy/disruptive/disrespectful), you will fit into the events.
We will meet at a work-friendly café in Zürich and follow the agenda below.
**Agenda:**
* **Introductions and food (20-30 mins):** Start with a round of introductions to get to know each other and share what we'll be working on, buy our food and drinks.
* **Productive Work Session (1-2 hours)** Dive into your individual tasks in a focussed, distraction-free environment.
* **Collective Break and Socializing (\~15 mins):** Take a planned break to stretch, chat, get more coffee, and share insights about your projects.
* **Continued Work Session (1-2 hours):** Get back to your tasks with renewed focus and motivation.
* **Wrap-Up and Reflections (15+ mins):** Conclude with a reflection on what we accomplished, share productivity tips or questions, discuss plans for future meetups, stay back for more chit chat if you like.
**What to Bring:**
* Your project or task materials (laptop, charger, books, sketchpad, pen, etc.)
* Respectful and kind demeanour
* A positive attitude and a willingness to share and learn
**Note:** Please ensure that your tasks are suitable for a quiet, communal setting. We aim to maintain a respectful and conducive environment for everyone. **Venue Courtesy:** Out of courtesy for the venue, please order something drinks for yourself. This helps support the café and ensures we can continue to use their space for our meetups.

His mission: gather information about the *Army of the Twelve Monkeys*, the mysterious clandestine group believed to be responsible for the outbreak. However, the journey through time is imprecise, landing him in a mental institution years before the catastrophe, where his warnings of the future are dismissed as madness.

< \* \* \* English version below \* \* \* >
DE

EN
After several meetups in the city, it is time for another small trip outside Zurich. Our destination is the [Botanical Garden Grüningen](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CJaHZA7BzW2MNqDw9?g_st=ic), set on a hill above the historic little town and shaped like an arboretum. The award-winning greenhouse, trees and shrubs from around the world, and the varied outdoor spaces offer plenty of sketching subjects somewhere between plant study and architecture. Even in less-than-perfect weather, the visit is well worth it: there are several sheltered places to draw and take cover, not only inside the greenhouse itself. We are very pleased to be welcomed to the garden and would like to warmly thank our hosts for the invitation.
**Meeting point**
At the entrance to the Botanical Garden Grüningen.
**Getting there**
By public transport, you can reach the garden from Zurich, Winterthur or Rapperswil via S-Bahn to Wetzikon ZH, then bus 867 to Grüningen, Im Haufland. From Uster, take bus 845 to Grüningen, Im Haufland. From the bus stop, it is about a 20-minute walk to the garden.
If you are coming by car, free parking is available.
More information can be found here: [https://www.botanischer-garten.ch/den-garten-besuchen/](https://www.botanischer-garten.ch/den-garten-besuchen/)
**Entrance**
The entrance is free of charge.
Please bring your own drawing materials and, ideally, a small folding stool. No prior experience required. We sketch for about 2 hours, solo or in small groups, at an easy pace. Afterwards we regroup, share our sketches and take a group photo. As always, we follow the Urban Sketchers values: https://urbansketchers.org/who-we-are/#mission/

Mäng - transformational game
EXPERIENCE PHILOSOPHICAL SYNCRETISM, INNER ALCHEMY, AND GAME SPIRIT.
Try a live (private) session of **Mäng (offline in Zürich or online worldwide)**, a powerful self-exploration game that helps uncover hidden mental scripts and rewire the way you think, feel and act. It is a tool for a really **profound change** that follows the four stages of inner alchemy.
A modernized version of an ancient contemplative practice, reimagined as a transformational tool based on psychological insight, symbolic logic, and inner strategy, it is not therapy or coaching in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s an immersive deep-dive into the unconscious mind through metaphor and archetype with a game spirit.
💡 **How it works:**
Mäng is built on four stages of real, lasting change:
1. **Discovery** – Identify limiting beliefs and internal programs
2. **Uninstallation** – Let go of outdated patterns
3. **Design** – Create new mental strategies
4. **Integration** – Embed them into your deeper awareness
You’ll be guided through this process by the **Master of Mäng**, who offers structure, questions, and insight, while you remain the one making all decisions and discoveries.
🌿 **Who is this for?**
For everyone (regardless of beliefs, age, gender, etc.), but more than anyone - for those who didn't find answers or sufficient depth in pop coaching and psychology.
🕒 **Important:**
This is a deep game. A full session lasts **4 hours**. Time slots are defined individually. Contact me directly to get an appointment.
Price for newbies: 250 CHF

Batik Tulis Workshop – Wax & Dye Textile Art (Zurich)
**Step away from the pace of everyday life and spend a day immersed in the quiet rhythm of batik.**
Batik is a traditional wax-resist textile art where patterns emerge slowly through the interaction of hot wax and dye. The process invites patience, attention, and a different sense of time — one where the act of making becomes as important as the final piece.
In this studio workshop we will explore the traditional batik tulis process using canting (the wax drawing tool) and dye.
The day unfolds gradually: observing how wax flows, how colour layers develop, and how patterns begin to reveal themselves on cloth.
Working with batik often becomes a quiet conversation between intention and discovery — balancing moments of control with moments of letting go as the wax and dye take their course. Many participants find that the process creates a natural space for focus, reflection, and an inner dialogue that unfolds through making.
During the workshop you will:
• learn the fundamentals of traditional batik wax-resist techniques
• create two small batik textiles (one guided, one your own design)
• experience the slow, meditative rhythm of working with wax, colour, and pattern

Unlock Your Core Patterns – The Wisdom of Numbers, Cycles & Rhythms
**Unlock Your Core Patterns**
*The Wisdom of Numbers, Cycles & Rhythms*
Have you ever wondered why certain themes keep repeating in your life?
Maybe you keep attracting similar relationships.
Maybe you're feeling stuck or disconnected.
Maybe you're navigating a transition and don't know what this season is asking of you.
What if these experiences aren't random?
What if they are invitations to understand yourself more deeply?
***
This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, reflect and reconnect with yourself through the lens of patterns, cycles and rhythms.
We believe that life is seasonal.
Nature moves in cycles. So do we.
Sometimes we suffer because we try to force a season we are no longer in. Sometimes we judge ourselves for not being where we think we "should" be.
**You are not broken.**
**You may simply be out of harmony with your current season.**
✨ During this immersive experience, we will explore:
• Why certain patterns keep repeating in our lives
• How our lives move through different seasons and cycles
• Practical ways to understand where you are right now
• The Bus Metaphor: understanding the different parts of yourself and learning which qualities this season is inviting forward
• Breathwork, meditation and embodiment practices that transform insight into lived experience
• Reflection exercises and meaningful conversations
• How to move through life with greater awareness, trust and self-compassion
***
**This workshop is not about predicting your future.**
**Numerology is simply a symbolic language and reflective lens that helps us explore our patterns, strengths, challenges and opportunities.**
**The purpose is awareness, not prediction.**
🌱 You will leave with:
✓ Greater self-awareness
✓ A deeper understanding of your current season of life
✓ Practical tools for navigating change
✓ A renewed connection with yourself
✓ Greater trust in your own rhythm
✓ Meaningful connection with like-minded people
***
**This experience is intentionally intimate and limited in size to create a safe and supportive space for reflection, sharing and genuine human connection.**
✨ Ready to join us?
If this invitation resonates with you, we'd love to welcome you.
Because this is an intimate workshop with limited places, registration takes place via Eventbrite.
🎟️ Reserve your spot here:
Sometimes the patterns we keep encountering are simply invitations to pause, reconnect and discover what this season of life is asking of us.
☕ Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available throughout the workshop and there will be plenty of opportunities for meaningful conversations and connection.
