Where music meets the sketch pad. Step into a world where classical melodies inspire live drawing. At Pencils and Chords, you’ll sketch in real time to evocative melodies, pin your finished pieces to the Art Wall, and compete for a special award. Wanderlust is an international string quartet formed by four musicians whose artistic paths cross borders and cultures. Bringing together performers from Venezuela, South Korea, Italy, and Germany, the ensemble is united by a shared curiosity for sound, form, and expressive freedom. For this special evening, Wanderlust presents a program dedicated to French chamber music, exploring contrast, color, and transformation through three distinctive voices: * Jean Françaix – String Quartet (1938), playful, transparent, and full of wit. * Darius Milhaud – String Quartet No. 12, driven by rhythm, clarity, and modern energy. * César Franck – String Quartet in D major, expansive and luminous, built on cyclical form and deep lyricism.
