Hi everyone, I’m putting together a small, free experimental group for artists in Berlin who feel creatively stuck, blocked, overthinking, disconnected, or burned out. It’s called Creative Block Lab. The idea is to create a thoughtful, hands-on space where we don’t just talk about creative block, but explore it together in real time. Across three sessions, we’ll share experiences, try simple exercises, spend some time working on our own creative projects, and reflect on what’s actually happening as it happens. The intention is to understand our patterns more clearly and experiment with small shifts, without pressure or productivity talk. This is part of a longer project I’m developing around creativity and artistic process, and I’m curious to see what might grow from it as a real artist community over time. For a bit of context: I’m Cuau, a filmmaker and artist based temporarily in Berlin, and I’m currently building a project called The Poetic Toolbox, which explores creativity, creative block, and inner patterns through a mix of reflection, experimentation, and real conversations with artists.
