Buenas! (English below) Cada día aparecen formas nuevas de aprender español, (y otros idiomas) apps nuevas, métodos de gramática, IA, videos de profes explicando cosas, y están todas genial. Si te ayudan a entender más y a hablar mejor están genial. El plan de este grupo es mejorar tu español con juegos, actividades reales y ejercicios para hablar más. Con la excusa de los juegos y las actividades corregimos la mayoría de errores: Palabras difíciles, confundir pasados, preposiciones, verbos que significan muchas cosas, ser y estar en pasado, frases con dos verbos o mas, subjuntivo, expresiones coloquiales, y también los errores "culturales”: ¿De que forma usamos los españoles el idioma en diferentes situaciones? La gente que participa es (casi siempre) muy simpática, y normalmente deja reviews muy positivas de las clases. Si te cuadra el plan ven a practicar tu español y hablamos de comida, de viajes, de trabajo, de cultura, de Internet, de temas locales, de noticias y de muchas más cosas. Para participar hay una contribución de solo 10€ por persona/ clase de 2 horas (materiales incluidos, bebidas no incluidas) o de 30€ por 4 clases. Vente y hablamos. Rafa. \-\-\-\- Hi! If they help you to understand more and to speak better, they are great. The main plan in this group is to improve your Spanish with games, real activities and exercises to speak more. All the games and activities are a good excuse to correct the most difficult/ frequent mistakes: Difficult words, confusing past tenses, prepositions, verbs that mean many things, ser and estar in the past, sentences with two or more verbs, subjuntive, colloquial expressions, and also “cultural" mistakes: How we, Spanish people, use the language in different situations? People participating are (almost always) very nice, and usually leave very positive reviews of the classes. Nuestras reuniones son sobre nuestras propias filosofías de la vida y no necesariamente lo que los grandes filósofos y académicos han dicho o escrito. No es un club de debate o una plataforma para hacer proselitismo. En cambio, ponemos énfasis en cuestionar, tener una mentalidad abierta y desafiar nuestras propias suposiciones mientras escuchamos y respetamos las opiniones compartidas por otros. For our Q1 Women in Product Columbus event, we’re creating space to actually work through those moments. **Making Moves** is an evening of focused, facilitated coaching conversations with experienced mentors from our local product community. This isn’t a panel. It’s not passive networking. It’s small-group dialogue designed to be thoughtful, practical, and worth your time. Here’s how it will work: • You’ll choose a topic that reflects what you’re navigating right now • You’ll join a small coaching circle (5–7 participants) • Each circle is led by a mentor who has lived experience in that area • We’ll run two rounds so you can go deeper or explore a second conversation ### Coaching Topics: • Communicating the Value of Your Work (or Team) • Career Transitions & What’s Next • Growing Into Leadership • Staying Relevant as Technology (and AI) Changes • Getting Alignment and Decisions from Leadership Our goal is simple: you leave with clearer thinking, practical perspective, and at least one next step you feel confident about. It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went? Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence? Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.

Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration! This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
