**Here we meet up outside of the restaurant setting, in a beautiful room at the Tibetan Buddhist Centre in London. The quiet venue is helpful for perhaps a greater deep dive and attention to our topic.** Together we shall be exploring some of the themes that Krishnamurti is proposing but, more importantly, that we ourselves are facing in our everyday life. Krishnamurti is showing us what he sees about human conditioning and the lack or freedom and love that dominates existence. Lets do this fantastic varied 12 mile walk in which we first walk along the disused Chichester Ship Canal, then by Chichester Marina and finally arrive at West Wittering beach after enjoying the amazing views of the estuary. At West Wittering we shall need take the bus back to Chichester at around 5.10pm and then the train back to London at around 6pm. Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes or plus sunhat, suncream and sunglasses. As from 8.50am we shall buy group return train tickets for the train at 9.35am that arrives at 11.06am. Train ticket : Chichester return Or you may decide to drive. Walk shall commence at 11.15am. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth."* Herman Hesse Walking with trees is a soulful opportunity to begin to re-discover the sacredness of nature by learning about the biology, mythology, history and spirituality of classic native British trees on Ashtead Common. Please arrive at 9.45am on Saturday 9th May at Ashtead train station ticket hall for a prompt start at 10am. We will finish by 12pm. We will be taking a relaxed mindful walk across Ashtead Common as we connect with different trees on our way. Wear sturdy shoes, comfortable clothing and depending on the weather, a rain proof coat. Bring a sitting pad, portable seat, or rug to sit on as well as something to drink. Walking with trees is led by Mike Mullins, a leadership development facilitator, executive coach and retreat leader who has a passionate interest in how we can see and hold all nature as sacred in these times of ecological crisis.

It is a vivid reminder of the area's medieval heritage. \- With abundant wildlife and ever changing riverside views\, this trail offers a perfect balance of natural beauty and historical intrigue\. —— **🌟HIGHLIGHTS:** * **Bowers Lock and Historic Oak:** As you approach Bowers Lock, look out for a 300-year-old oak tree, a silent witness to centuries of river history. Informational boards nearby provide context about the area's significance * **Newark Priory Ruins:** Between Papercourt and Walsham Locks, catch glimpses of the evocative ruins of Newark Priory across the fields.
