Hi all! My name is Cara, and I am a native English speaker from America living in Prague. This a meet up for t**hose learning English as a second language** and want the **opportunity to practice**. It will be a fun and relaxed setting where we will play games to **promote English conversations** or have some kind of activity. This club will meet \*\*every other (two Mondays each month) Monday evening.\*\*The goal is for each person to walk away having learned new English words and have more confidence when speaking in English. Gentle Vinyasa is a slow, mindful yoga practice that connects breath and movement in a steady rhythm. The class focuses on soft flow sequences designed to release tension, improve mobility, and support nervous system balance. The pace allows participants to move with awareness rather than intensity. The session concludes with sound healing using crystal bowls. The sound supports integration and relaxation, allowing the body to settle after movement. This practice is suitable for all levels and does not require previous yoga experience. The class includes guided movement and a closing relaxation with sound. Ahoj holky, máte chuť na večer, který nebude jen o "povinném seznamování", ale i o společném zážitku? Pojďme společně prozkoumat výstavu DEVADE v CAMPu. Je to o Praze v 90. letech - době svobody, podnikatelských barok i ikonických staveb, které dnes milujeme nebo nenávidíme. Je to vizuálně nabité a hravé, takže nuda nehrozí. Jak to bude probíhat? Sraz: sejdeme se před obchodem Lokálně (abychom se před CAMPem nehledaly) Výstava: projdeme ji společně (ca 45min). Žádné ticho - budeme komentovat, co nás zaujalo nebo co si z té doby pamatujeme. Káva: pak se přesuneme do místní kavárny (je tam krásný prostor s výhledem do zahrady). kde probereme dojmy a taky všechno ostatní :) ‍Proč jít? U stolu se s cizími lidmi mluví někdy trošku těžko. Na výstavě ale začneme tím, co vidíme. Let´s get together and explore the DEVADE exhibition at CAMP (Center for Architecture and Metropolitan Planning). The exhibition maps Prague in the 1990s - an era of newfound freedom, entrepreneurial baroque and iconic buildings we either love or hate today. It´s visually stunning and very nostalgic! Whats the plan? The Meetup: We´ll meet in front of Lokálně shop (so that we dont search one for each other in front of CAMP) The exhibition: We´ll walk thru together (approx 45mins). No awkward silence - we´ll chat about what catches our eye or what we remember from those times. Coffee& Chat: afterwards we´ll move to the local café (a beautiful space with a garden view) to share our impressions and get to know each other even better). ‍Why join? This time we are going to experience the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, a spa town situated in western Bohemia. We will admire the grand 19th-century spa architecture, stroll along the impressive colonnades, and sip the presumably health-restoring sulphurous waters from 12 different springs in spouted ceramic drinking cups. One of the most famous attractions is the hot spring that spews out hot thermal waters to a height of 12 meters. We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. We will run about 9 km along the river and have a drink afterwards. Paces vary! We will meet in the square near Kavarna Liberal (Hermanova 6), near the Vltavska metro/tram stop at 6:30 on Wednesday.
