Little Venice Canalway Cavalcade 2026.
The Little Venice canal boat festival 2026. This is the annual IWA Canalway Cavalcade, held every May Bank Holiday weekend in London's beautiful Little Venice area, featuring hundreds of decorated narrowboats, live music and food stalls celebrating London's waterway life and community. This is a great opportunity for some colour photography. We will meet in Rembrandt Gardens at 12:00 midday and just mooch around the area taking photos of all the colourful boats and people. Toward the end of the day we will convene in a local pub for some refreshement and socialising. The nearest tube station to the start is Warwick Avenue.

Kings Cross to Little Venice & Waterways Festival
Kings Cross to Little Venice & Waterways Festival
Join us for an approximately 5 mile walk from Kings Cross Station along Regents Canal to Little Venice where we will enjoy this year's [canalways cavalcade](https://waterways.org.uk/support/ways-to-get-involved/events/iwa-canalway-cavalcade-2026), the celebration of London's boating community. There will be music, food and drink and potentially even Morris Dancing. The scenic walk along the Regent's Canal should take us under 2 hours and you will have to be fit to attend this walk. The festival is always very busy and we will therefore split up into smaller groups once there to be able to move around. We are going to meet at the [birdcage](https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/birdcage-kings-cross.html?sortBy=relevant) at Kings Cross station. That is close to the Germany Gymnasium, outside Kings Cross underground station. As always, please only sign up if you are intending to attend. The event is free but the usual £1.50 are a none refundable maintenance fee and meetup will also charge you £0.60. We would appreciated it if you cancelled no later than 2 days before the event and to please avoid cancelling on the day as that may get you removed from the group. The walk will start at 11am and we will leave at that time. Once we are on the move you may not find us. Therefore, please be on time.
Lesbian Bike Club – Olympic Park (Women Only)
Lesbian Bike Club – Olympic Park (Women Only)
**What this is** A relaxed group ride around the Olympic Park, followed by a stop for a coffee or pint. The paths are wide, there’s no traffic, and it’s set up so everyone can ride at an easy pace and actually talk to each other. It’s more about meeting women and riding together than doing anything intense. Most women come on their own. That’s completely normal here and we make sure you don’t feel it. Women usually range from their 20s through to their 60s. It’s normally a mix of new and returning women, so you won’t be the only new person there. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s very common. You can message beforehand or on the day and we can help you settle in. *** **Where to find us** Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford Meeting point: Stratford Gate (near Westfield) 📍 51.5433, -0.0122 *** **What to bring** Bring whatever you want. Most people bring water and something small, and we’ll stop somewhere after. If you don’t have a bike, there are Santander docking stations around the park and bike hire inside the park. If you’re using a day pass, bikes need to be docked every hour, but we’ll be stopping anyway so it won’t be an issue. *** **Important** This is a female only lesbian space. That boundary is clear and upheld at events. *** **How to attend** You must register in advance to attend [www.thelcommunity.com/events](http://www.thelcommunity.com/events) *** One quick note on how the community works L Community is member funded. The standard contribution is £13 per month and covers the platform, events, moderation, and safeguarding. If £13 isn’t workable right now, you can opt out. Most people just come to a few things first and decide later. Support can be changed or cancelled at any time [www.thelcommunity.com/back-us-now](http://www.thelcommunity.com/back-us-now) *** **Arriving and support** If you’re nervous or can’t find us, message and we can come and meet you WhatsApp Jenny +44 7591 386019 *** **Staying connected** To access WhatsApp groups and stay part of the network: [www.thelcommunity.com/go](www.thelcommunity.com/go)

AnimanJapan Anime & Manga Club!
AnimanJapan Anime & Manga Club!
If you love anime & manga then please join us for our weekly meetups, where we basically just sit, chat and read anime & manga! We usually sit in the back of the pub. If the weather is nice we may sit outside at the back of the pub, or even outside on the downstairs floor. In this meetup, you can BYOM (bring your own manga) or read one from the selection we will bring. See this as an opportunity to discover, recommend or simply enjoy Japanese comics & anime with like-minded people! Note: This is not a book club. Also, the TCR bar is kind enough to allow us to use their space to host this meetup, and has asked if possible for attendees to support the venue by purchasing a drink or food while you're there. Please don't bring your own food or drink to consume at the venue, as the venue does not allow this!

Y is for You Are Here @ Southbank Centre LATE
**Join us at *'You Are Here' at the Southbank Centre*,** **an epic, one-off, pop-culture spectacular that invites you on an electrifying journey through 75 years of British music, dance, theatre, fashion and film.** Follow the performance as it unfolds around you in an on-the-move theatrical journey where every corner holds a new story. Astonishing performers bring the energy of resistance, freedom and creation to every moment.
