In addition to our usual Saturday board games, this session only we will offering introductory sessions to Kill Team, the small scale version of Warhammer 40,000. Models, terrain and accessories will all be supplied, just turn up by 2:30 ready to learn and have fun. Places are very limited, so comment below if you want to take part! With lots to see along the way including wild deer and pigs. Starting from Epping station, we’ll follow a scenic trail near the disused rail line through fields, woods, and heritage stations, past the worlds oldest wooden church where we can enter and have a look (845AD) finishing in Ongar (where the central line used to go to) After lunch, the heritage steam/diesel train back to North Weald then herritage bus 339 on the last leg to Epping underground station. **🛎️ *There are rumours that this film is effing scary!!!*** **👋 Hello everyone!** When someone tells us a film is that scary, we tend to be cautiously skeptical of the marketing. However, this film premiered at several festivals to rave reviews, and audiences said it was truly frightening. Still, we’ll take a close look at these key details. This films starts to earn credibility as a folk horror film set in Ireland, and that alone really sets the tone. Eckankar welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds and we have a children's program for ages 5–13. The service is about 1 hour to 1.15 hours, and light refreshments are available. Let's meet to watch the 2019/2020, British documentary ***"Coup 53"***, a documentary about the 1953 Iranian coup d'etat to overthrow the democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh. This doc is timely and well reviewed. This documentary won several awards at film festivals, including the Audience Award for Most Popular International Documentary at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the MIFF Awards in Italy, and an audience award at the Cinéma Vérité Festival in Iran. It also received a nomination for Best Documentary in the BIFAs, alongside a nomination for a Grierson Award for Best Feature Documentary at the 2019 BFI London Film Festival. We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week.
