BOOK YOUR TICKET 👉🏼 [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/christian-speed-dating-8/). Single, Christian, and 30–45? Perfect! Join us for 15 fun, fast-paced dates with like-minded Christians looking for genuine connections. In the heart of The City, just moments from Liverpool Street Station, The Otherist provides a relaxed and welcoming setting for meeting new people who share your Christian faith. Our spacious and private sunken lounge creates the perfect backdrop for an intimate evening designed to help single Christian guests meet, mingle, and connect during fifteen fun, fast-paced dates. With a friendly atmosphere, gentle background music, and 15 potential matches, it’s an evening that’s as easygoing as it is exciting. Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met. Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order. During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only. Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening. At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches. If you have any questions on the event or how things will work, please get in contact with Ollie on 07517 065 492 or ollie@itsadate.club.

Sunday Assembly London Article Club #77
Sunday Assembly London Article Club #77
Here is a recap of how the Club works: 1\. We meet every six weeks or so in or near the National Theatre\. 2\. We vote in advance and pick two articles from a short list to read before we meet\. Usually one relates to politics/current affairs and the other to history\, culture or science\. 3\. We talk about each one for around half an hour and the beauty of Article Club is that we can think more deeply about the broader themes of a topic\, and how well the article gets to grips with them\. 4\. We each give a score out of 10 for the articles that have been discussed\. 5\. We set the date for the next Article Club and sometimes adjourn to the pub\. I will post in the comments a Google form that you can use to vote for the articles you would like to read and discuss at this event. The point of Article Club is to challenge ourselves to read a diverse range of articles, share them with like-minded people and deal with our anxiety that we aren't reading books. Article Club was set up by Ross Bailey in 2015 who did a fantastic job at running it. Ross was followed by the equally fantastic Claire Ferraro and I (Alistair Baker) have been in the chair for the past eight years. OUR NEXT MEETUP: ARTICLE CLUB #77 Thursday 2nd July 2026 - 7:30pm to around 9:15pm. We sit on the soft round seats in the Lyttelton Theatre bar on the first floor.
Day trip by coach - a church, a battlefield & two towns in Northants! (only £33)
Day trip by coach - a church, a battlefield & two towns in Northants! (only £33)
Come along on Saturday 4th July to visit a 9th century church, a 17th century battlefield and two pretty towns in the county of Northamptonshire! **About the day** Northamptonshire is a landlocked county in the east Midlands. Its quite rural, with lots of farmland and market towns. It also has lots of pretty little villages with stone cottages and thatched roofs. The county has enough local stone buildings to rival the Cotswolds. **All Saints' Church, Brixworth** Brixworth is a historic village, primarily famous for housing All Saints' Church, one of the oldest and largest surviving Anglo-Saxon buildings in the UK. The church dates from the 9th century and is built of local stone and Roman stone, taken from nearby abandoned Roman buildings. **Naseby Battlefield** On the 14th June 1645, one of the pivotal battles of the English Civil War took place here. The Battle of Naseby was where a relatively unknown cavalry commander in the Parliamentary Army, a man named Oliver Cromwell, changed the course of history and routed the Royalist armies under Prince Rupert. **Oundle** Oundle is a quintessential English market town that sits at a bridging point on the River Nene and amidst the rolling countryside. The town has a medieval street layout lined with 17th-century Jacobean and Georgian stone buildings. Today it has many cafes, pubs and independent shops. **Uppingham** Uppingham is a market town with lots of honey coloured buildings and with its art galleries it has become a popular destination for art lovers. It also has lots of independent shops, including lots of antique shops. A little over 1 mile from the town are the earthwork remains of a medieval motte and bailey castle. **Coach seating** * If you wish to reserve a seat on the coach in advance, after you pay please look at the seating plan in the photos [here](https://www.meetup.com/coach-day-trips-out-of-london/photos/36017628/534585627/) and then email me - [general@cultureseekers.org](http://general@cultureseekers.org), with the seat number/s you wish to reserve. Christ The Healer, Columbus, Ohio
Christ The Healer, Columbus, Ohio
From the moment sin entered the world, death began. Adam and Eve were not stricken dead immediately, but the process by which none of us lives forever in health and wholeness in these earthly bodies started its inexorable march to the inevitable end—death. The Bible makes it clear that by one man’s sin, death came to all mankind, but that by the obedience of One Perfect Man, Jesus, many are made righteous (Romans 5:19). F.F. Bosworth recognized this truth; he also would have people consider that the God Who provided for our greatest need—salvation from eternal death—would also provide healing for the lesser, but still great needs, of health and healing from sickness, disease, and the consequences of sin that we encounter before we die. Join us as we examine the case for biblical healing in the book first published in 1924, ***Christ The Healer*. We meet at True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 6:30 pm.** Get your tickets on [EventBrite](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/christ-the-healer-columbus-ohio-tickets-1989133215995)!
