This is part 1 of a new walk, starting at Cannon Street and ending at St.Pauls. We will meet at Sir John Hawkshaw which is on Cannon Street Station at 10.45 am, for a hot drink, at 11.15 am we will leave for our walk to the Guildhall where time will be allowed to look around. Afterwards we will walk to the Barbican, where we will have our lunch in the groundsthere { please bring a packed lunch with you} We will then go to Charterhouse, where there will be time to look around. Our walk will take us to ST Bartholomew Hospital, and the 2 churches there, and we will visit 1 of them St Bartholomew the Less. Then we will pop into Postman's Park, and then finishing our walk at The Paternoster Pub near St. Pauls with St. Pauls underground station a few minutes away. The bonus, you will be able to ask questions to an authentic French native! **THE CLASS:** This is a face-to-face conversation class lasting 60 minutes run by a French native & professional tutor (in London since 2016). This is a Conversation Class dedicated to French learners who struggle to have a spontaneous conversation. If you think your French is rusty, if you feel not really comfortable to interact among a group of other French speakers, this class is for you (if not sure, send a message in French to the organiser). The class goes on an adapted pace with a first part dedicated to a chit-chat and then we'll focus on a short text to learn about French culture and the language. We approach the theme, read a short text (you get a copy for the session), speak, learn vocabulary and things about French culture. The theme is always linked to French, the French and France. At the end, we wrap up and keep a few minutes for some miscellaneous questions. After the class, you will get an email with a list of vocabulary (some words / expressions seen along the class). This is a very small group class: maximum of 4 attendees and a minimum of 2. So you will speak directly to the tutor. This session is about getting your writing and reading done and meeting other literacy enthusiasts in the area. Take a seat and settle in and spend some time to chat with your fellow writers before the start of the session if you like. START OF SESSION around 6:45pm I’ll set timers for our no-talking and focused writing sessions (write, break, write, end). We start with warm up exercises. These are gentle movements and stretching from Qi Gong. We then proceed through the Tai Chi Form (short-form Yang style), usually at an easy pace, but with continous repetition. You need to wear loose clothing that allows body movement. The sessions end with some more Qi Gong meditations. Tea and Coffee is available. Please RSVP if you are going to attend, so as we have some idea about numbers.

This beautiful gathering was created and will be hosted by Angie, one of our most consistent members of Offline Women. Join our warm community to read poetry out loud together. Please bring a favourite poem with you in a book or on a piece of paper. If your poem is only on your phone, we will give you paper and pens in the first five minutes to write it down so you can put your phone away. We will have the chance to gift these handwritten poems to each other at the end. We will spend most of our time taking turns reading our poems out loud to the group. It is a simple, peaceful way to listen to each other and enjoy the rhythm of the words. Leave feeling calm and refreshed, with the sound of shared poems still in your mind, and maybe a new favourite poem beautifully handwritten by a new friend as a keepsake.
