Free Meditation & Yoga – just show up – we start at 19.00 on Thursdays
Hello there!
We'd like to welcome you to our FREE Sahaja Yoga meditation meetings hosted by Wolfgang, Hamid, Anil, Shantanu & friends which take place in Vienna – 7pm Thursdays.
With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we normally sit on chairs to achieve yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. So there is no need for mats and no special clothing required.
We are all volunteers of a Charity association and have many years of experience in offering free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes.
All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable. It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it — everyone!. It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically and cannot be paid for.
The classes are designed to help those attending get into a genuine meditative state, which can be felt tangibly. It is quite effortless and spontaneous.
The free classes feature introductory talks, video's, practical workshops and general question and answer opportunities, making them perfect for seekers trying to establish a state of yoga, and they are available across Vienna most evenings and throughout Austria.
The idea is that you don't do yoga - you Achieve Yoga!
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple, time-honored technique. It helps those who enjoy it, reduce stress and increase wellness and health holistically. It brings better focus and helps people become more centered and better balanced. Anyone can do it.
Founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a world wide movement for peace and self awakening.
All the meetings and classes are free of any charge. Each week we go through simple meditation techniques, often with guided meditations to help reduce stress and achieve the peace of true meditation.
We share tips on how to help stay in balance during the day and how to meditate at home. The meditation is based on connecting with the inner chakras (energy centres) and balancing the subtle body.
The tradition and aims of meditation are explained which in essence is to be in the present with no mental activity or thoughts about the past or the future.
Occasionally there are 1 day retreats to help those interested, deepen their individual experience and hear advice and tips from those who have been practicing for some time. It’s ultimately all about getting into ‘thoughtless awareness’, a natural state of being.
10 Reasons to try-out Sahaja Yoga Meditation in Vienna in 2015
It’s easy.
You don’t have to spend years living in the mountains to achieve enlightenment. You don’t have to give up anything or spend weeks in silence. You don’t have to learn mantras or wear special clothes or even try to clear my mind. The meditation simply happens spontaneously. The classes are easy and fun, and as long as you keep up your daily ten minutes of meditation you find you are able to achieve a deep and peaceful meditation on a regular basis.
It’s free.
You don’t pay for your meditation. There are no catches, and there are no hidden expenses. If you missed attending classes one week, it doesn’t matter. You just picked up the classes again when you could manage it. It is simply the generosity of spirit of other Sahaja Yoga meditation practitioners that allows Sahaja Yoga to be taught to whomever desires it, at no cost.
You can see results.
You feel relaxed and you feel a deep sense of calm. Now you can also feel your chakras (energy centres) and through the meditation techniques learnt along the way you can understand the vibrations of your own energy centres. If you feel unwell you meditate and use the techniques you’ve learnt to heal your chakras, and you can then feel the centres clearing, and as a consequence your health improves.
It’s all-inclusive.
All the major religions and their core teachings are acknowledged and respected in Sahaja Yoga. No one’s spiritual journey is right or wrong. And through meditation the wisdom of all the great gurus and saints is easily revealed and understood. In fact, you’ll find that since you’ve been meditating you’ll come to understand and appreciate the teachings of great teachers such as Lao Tse, Buddha and Mohammed.
You’re your own boss.
You meditate and introspect at your own pace. You don’t have to keep up with others, or feel pressured into doing things you’re not comfortable with. You are your own teacher, your own guru, your own master. This technique of meditation empowers you and enables you to help yourself. You don’t have to rely on anybody else. Of course, there are many people who practice Sahaja Yoga Meditation who can teach you a great deal about the yoga & meditation and its various techniques. However, all that you need is ultimately within you.
It’s everywhere.
Sahaja Yoga is practiced in almost every country in the world. So, no matter where you travel you can always locate a local Sahaja Yoga Meditation programme that you can attend. Whenever you get the chance, and no matter where you are, You try to link up with other Sahaja Yoga practitioners and enjoy a collective meditation. (Meditating with others is a much deeper and more powerful experience than meditating alone.)
It’s portable.
You don’t need to take anything with you to meditate: no mats, no potions, no special clothing or books. You can meditate anywhere – in a quiet room or on a noisy bus; at the beach or watching a movie. Thoughtless awareness (the state of meditation) is easy to achieve if you keep meditating daily, and it can be achieved in almost any situation.
It makes sense.
Everything you’ll learn will make sense. There is a lot of common sense in Sahaja Yogameditation, and even though not everything was known to you (for example, the chakras and their respective qualities), once you have a chance to learn more about the meditation, it feels very natural and comfortable.
Everybody does it.
When you begin a hobby or join a new group, you often find that there are particular types of people who are in the group with you. For example, some groups attract younger people, others older folk; some groups have a lot of people who are wealthy, or people who live in a certain part of town. In Sahaja Yoga you will find people from every walk of life, from every demographic – male and female, young and old, rich and poor, every shape, size and colour, with varying interests, languages and beliefs. You don’t have to be a certain type of person to do Sahaja Yoga meditation. It is one of those rarities: something for everybody.
You feel good.
Without fail, every time you sit down to meditate you feel better. Whether you manage to have a deep meditation or not makes no difference, and as a consequence your family and friends are reaping the benefits.
So there you have it......ten reasons......

Founder Reflection Night — The Human Side of Entrepreneurship
**Feeling Stuck, Overwhelmed or at a Crossroads?**
***The Inner Friction of Building Something***
Building a venture or project often means stepping into unfamiliar territory.
There is rarely a clear roadmap, and many decisions have to be made without having all the answers yet.
In those moments, the biggest challenges are not necessarily external. Quite often they appear internally — as quiet doubts, second-guessing, or the sense of standing in front of too many possibilities without knowing where to begin.
Entrepreneurs frequently experience moments where they question whether they are truly ready for the role they have stepped into. At other times, there can be pressure to already have answers that are still unfolding, or hesitation to act because the next step feels unclear. When many possibilities are present at once, it can also become difficult to decide where to start.
During this evening, we will explore how these internal pressures influence **the way we think, decide, and take action while building something new.**
We will reflect on questions such as:
**Where am I currently in my project or venture?**
At what moments in my work do I start questioning myself the most?
* When facing uncertainty, do I tend to move forward, hesitate, or wait for more clarity?
* When do doubt, overwhelm, or overthinking begin to slow down my progress?
* What helps me regain perspective and momentum when things feel unclear?
* *What kind of support, structure, or perspective could help me move forward?*
The goal is not to solve these experiences in one evening, but to recognize them and open an useful dialogue, exchanging perspectives with others who are navigating similar challenges.
**A Space for Different Ways of Thinking**
Entrepreneurs often think differently — sometimes very differently.
Many founders and creatives identify as neurodivergent, including people with ADHD or other attention styles. Experiences such as racing ideas, overwhelm, or difficulty prioritizing can be especially common when building something new.
This space welcomes both neurotypical and neurodivergent participants. Different ways of thinking and approaching challenges are not only accepted here — they are valued.
The format of the evening is designed to be flexible, reflective, and conversational, allowing everyone to participate in a way that feels comfortable.
**What to Expect**
The evening will be relaxed, thoughtful, and interactive.
A typical flow may include:
**Short introduction**
A brief overview of the group and the upcoming Founder Growth Lab.
**Entrepreneur check-in**
Participants share what they are currently building or exploring.
**Reflection exercise**
A short guided reflection to explore where you are in your entrepreneurial journey and the internal barriers and moments of hesitation that come along the way.
**Small group conversations**
Participants exchange perspectives and experiences.
**Open discussion**
Space for insights, questions, and shared observations.
**Closing & outlook**
A short introduction to the upcoming Founder Growth Lab series.
**Who This Event Is For**
This gathering may resonate with you if you are:
* *small business owner*
* *an entrepreneur, freelancer, founder, or creator*
* *developing a business idea – or more, a product , or a project*
* *interested in personal growth alongside professional growth*
* *curious about how mindset, habits, and energy influence your work*
* *open to thoughtful conversations with other builders*
You do not **need to have a fully developed business or startup.**
We value curiosity and openness just as much as experience.
**Practical Details**
Doors open around 18:30, and we aim to start around 18:45.
The structured part of the evening will finish around 21:00, with some informal time afterward for those who would like to stay and continue conversations.
**A Small Note**
The event will be held in German or English, depending on the language most participants prefer. If the group is mixed, we will adapt so everyone can comfortably take part in the conversation.
This is not a networking mixer or traditional business workshop.
It is a space for reflection, exchange, and meaningful conversation among people who are building something — and growing along the way.
Kindness, curiosity, and mutual respect are the foundation of the space we want to create together.

The Future of Leadership: Workflow-Embedded Skills Development
**About this event:**
Join us on 26 March in Vienna for an evening where we'll explore how leaders actually develop capability - not in classrooms, but inside work itself.
**Agenda:**
**16:00 – Arrive, connect over drinks and nibbles**
**16:30 – The Future of Leadership: Workflow-Embedded Skills Development**
* Why traditional leadership development isn't transferring to practice
* What leaders actually need in 2026 (and it's not just another model)
* What workflow embedded skills development actually looks like - real examples from teams we've worked with
**17:30 – Interactive Workshop: Building the Leadership Skills Your Organisation Needs**
* Learn about ways to build people skils hands-on
* Work through a real leadership challenge with peers
* Leave with practical next steps for your context
**19:30 – Networking**
* Wine, food (gluten-free and vegan options available)
* Connect with people facing similar challenges
**16:00 – Arrive, connect over drinks and nibbles**
**Why this matters**
Leadership development is broken. Organisations invest heavily, leaders attend programmes, certificates get handed out - and then nothing changes.
The problem isn't lack of frameworks. It's the gap between learning and doing.
In the coming years, leadership development must shift from event-based training to workflow-embedded practice.
At Kokoro, we've spent years answering one question: how do you empower leaders to create the conditions for sustained performance, genuine motivation, and teams that thrive?
At this event, we bring leaders, teams, L&D professionals, and organisations who are committed to making that shift. Together, we will develop steps to make it real.
**Who is this for**
You're leading a team, department, or organisation. You're in L&D and see that traditional programmes aren't transferring to practice. You run an SME and need practical ways to develop leaders without the corporate overhead.
You've sent people to leadership programmes and watched them return motivated, and then not being able to transfer the skills in to work. You know the theory-practice gap is real. You want skills development that builds into daily workflows, not outside them.

**About Kokoro**
Kokoro was founded in 2018 because we believed the way performance is measured and optimised is broken. We work with leaders and teams to build resilient, high-performing cultures where people can learn, grow, and thrive - even amid complexity and change.
We do this through our team and leadership development software and services like one-on-one coaching, team development, organisational consulting that help leaders turn intention into habit. Our approach draws on evidence from flow theory, motivation science, neurobiology, and real-world practice with teams across various industries and sizes.
Visit [bekokoro.com](https://www.bekokoro.com/) to learn more.
**Join the Kokoro community**
This is our first of 4 gatherings in 2026 - a chance to (re)connect with people making real change happen, and to introduce you to what we're building. If the culture and performance challenges you face resonate, we'd love to work with you.
Looking forward to seeing you on 26 March.

ADVANCED badminton players wanted!
Thank you for visiting this event page!
* Are you an advanced badminton player? If yes - WELCOME!
* The earlier you sign up, the bigger your chance to reserve a place - once 9 other players have signed up already, you move to the waiting list.
* Once the waiting list has 3 or more members, I will try to book an additional court, but no guarantees.
I need to close the registration 24h before the event as I will then have to decide whether to cancel any court due to a shortage of players. You can still contact me if you want to play though.
The fee per player will be €10.00 for 2 hours as the cost of both shuttles and court bookings have increased. But this should now cover also shuttles used during play.
Please be on time as a curtesy to the other players. In addition, if you are on the players' list and don't come (i.e. no show), you will be automatically excluded from this group.

Dear Austrians,
**AI: The End of Work?**
Join us for an engaging evening exploring the intersection of Austrian Economics, technological innovation, and the future of labor.

Format is a Socratic debate, the hosts provide complimentary drinks, you provide your thoughts and questions.
As usual, we will meet at Vienna's Hayek Institute.
I look forward to a lively debate.
Yours,
Hubertus

**ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:**
**Playfight is a laboratory for real-life situations.**
In this session, we explore how to stay connected while holding clear boundaries.

Through movement, games, and playful physical interactions, we’ll practice:
• feeling and expressing a clear yes and a clear no
• staying present when someone challenges our limits
• meeting tension without aggression
At a deeper level, we touch the human paradox:
We are all connected — and we are separate.
**Can I open to our shared humanity while protecting my own space?**
No prior experience needed. Come as you are.
