From the very beginning, I have immersed myself in a spiritual women’s group, which has been a profound source of support and growth. Yoga and Tantra Yoga have brought incredible balance, harmony, and a deeper understanding of myself, truly transforming my life. Throughout my journey with the traditional integral Yoga system, I’ve learned practical ways to bring calm and balance into daily life, even in challenging times. Completing my Tantra Yoga for Women Instructor Training was a turning point, as it allowed me to blossom in ways I hadn’t thought possible. Being surrounded by a nurturing sisterhood showed me the immense power of women uplifting one another, and I now feel called to share this path with other women who seek similar transformation. In this **Tantra Yoga for Women** group, I am excited to lead you through these teachings, helping you connect deeply with your feminine energy and support your blossoming into fullness and joy. Together, we’ll create a safe and sacred space where you can embrace your own potential, find balance, and build bonds with a supportive community of women. Letter To Your Future Self 21.05
Letter To Your Future Self 21.05
Letters to Your Future Self💌 Have you ever wanted to write to the woman you're becoming? A soft, intimate evening to pause, reflect, and write to the version of you that is still unfolding. On May 21, we gather at Bar Freundschaft in Berlin for a guided writing ritual — warm, beautiful moment to slow down and reconnect with our visions of whom we're becoming. Each lady receives a curated letter set made of premium Japanese paper I brought from Kyoto, where this idea first began as a dream. It feels very special to now share it with the Les Amis community. Through gentle guidance and a short grounding meditation, you’ll write a personal letter to your future self — capturing your thoughts, hopes, and everything in between that you are planting today to see blooming in the future. At the end, you’ll seal your letter yourself as part of a small ritual. It will be sent back to you in six months. **Les Amis** is a women-only community of friendly souls. We provide access to hundreds of experiences that explore your passions and connect you with other event participants. **Check our website to learn more, and apply to join our community and events**: [lesamis.cc/apply](https://www.lesamis.cc/apply)

Māya: Print & Object 21.05
PRINT / OBJECT by Atelier Māya This print exploration is a relaxed and social textile print session designed to help you slow down, explore, and create something uniquely yours. In this 2-hour workshop at Atelier Māya, you’ll be guided through a simple and enjoyable process: our unique flow test print session leading to a final textile piece. You’ll start by experimenting with our print tools, colour, and mark-making. In the Print Thinking process, you will get a feel for the materials without pressure. You will explore before creating your own composition. The session is intuitive and open. There’s no right or wrong way to work, and no expectation to be “creative” or experienced. Many participants are surprised by how quickly they settle into the process, letting go of perfection and simply enjoying the act of making. We’ll introduce you to Māya’s unique application tools and hand-mixed, eco-friendly studio inks, and support you throughout as you build your final piece. A variety of organic and cotton textile surfaces will be available, including the Māya Travel Pouch and Māya Maxi Tote. You’re also very welcome to bring your own light coloured, natural fibre textiles to experiment on. This is a calm, welcoming space to switch off, experience an analogue textile research atelier and try something new. You will spend a few hours creating in good company. No experience needed, come as you are. **Les Amis** is a women-only community of friendly souls. We provide access to hundreds of experiences that explore your passions and connect you with other event participants. **Check our website to learn more, and apply to join our community and events**: [lesamis.cc/apply](https://www.lesamis.cc/apply)
THE BEAR Berlin presents MOUNTAINS - true stories about the climb
THE BEAR Berlin presents MOUNTAINS - true stories about the climb
### **MOUNTAINS – Stories about the climb** ### **Live Storytelling Night (Berlin)** “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.” — Edmund Hillary Some mountains are made of rock. Some are made of doubt, distance, language, love, grief, ambition, or simply getting out of bed when things feel heavy. This May, THE BEAR invites you to an evening of true personal stories about going uphill — about effort, resistance, resilience, and the quiet (or loud) voice that says: keep going. Our host, Izzy Ahrbeck, returns to Berlin fresh from the landscapes of Patagonia — where the mountains are wild, the wind is real, and every step reminds you that climbing is never just physical. Come as you are. Bring your uphill story. Or simply sit back and listen. We climb together. *** ### 🎤 What this event is An evening of **true, personal storytelling—told live on stage.** No scripts. No acting. No fiction. Just real people sharing real moments when life felt steep: * choosing the harder path * starting again from zero * pushing through thin air * reaching a summit that wasn’t what they expected * almost turning back Some stories will be funny. Some raw. All of them human. Music for the evening comes from Rory, adding sound and atmosphere to our climb. *** ### 💭 Why come? Because storytelling isn’t just entertainment—it’s connection. You’ll leave feeling: * more connected to others * reminded of your own experiences * maybe even inspired to tell your own story *** ### 🐻 How the evening works * **Open Stage** \- We randomly selected storytellers' name from our legendary top hat 👉 Want to tell a story? Put your name in the hat during the evening. First time? Even better. We’re known for being a welcoming space for new storytellers. *** ### 🎤 Want to prepare a story? If you’d like feedback before the event, you can send your idea to: 📩 hello@thebear-storytelling.de When booking, choose a **Storyteller Ticket** so we know you’re interested. 📍 **Venue:** Theatre Pool 📅 **Date:** May 21st 🕖 **Time:** 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm 🗣 Language: English (welcoming to all levels and backgrounds) *** ### [🎟 Tickets](https://www.thebear-storytelling.de/events/2026/05/21/mountains-stories-of-the-climb) Entry is **by donation** (Recommended: €15–20) https://www.thebear-storytelling.de/events/2026/05/21/mountains-stories-of-the-climb Give more if you can, less if you can’t. Everyone is welcome. *** ### 💬 Audience question of the night **Tell us about a time in your life when the path felt steep. What kept you climbing?** *** ### ✨ Final note Whether you’ve climbed mountains, careers, identities, relationships, or invisible inner walls — this night is for you. ## **Our Mission** ## *THE BEAR* **has grown into one of Berlin’s most beloved live storytelling events: a place where strangers become a community through the simple act of listening.** Supported by: [THE BEAR e.V. ](https://deref-web.de/mail/client/3fe0d0dh9KM/dereferrer/?redirectUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fthebear-storytelling.us6.list-manage.com%2Ftrack%2Fclick%3Fu%3Db5d7f087b587f8f081c447437%26id%3Dfc0e2d8df3%26e%3D711d4db9af), [Moving-Speaker.com](https://www.moving-speaker.com/), [Female Speaking Berlin](https://www.femalespeakingberlin.com/), and [Experience Berlin Youtube Channel](https://www.youtube.com/@Berlin-Videos).
Evening Bike Tour 1: Industrial Heritage in Schöneweider + Sunset Beer
Evening Bike Tour 1: Industrial Heritage in Schöneweider + Sunset Beer
**Meet:** Treptow Sbahn. Outside Sesam Cafe (see pin) **Time:** 18:00 **Distance:** 35km **Theme:** Cycle Loop + History + Social Let’s make the most of the long evenings with some history-themed cycle tours this summer. The idea is to meet up after work, get a little cycle in, see some sights and end in a beer garden. **The Tour** The first destination will be Schöneweider: the home of Berlin’s Elektropolis – where modern electricity was pioneered. (see more on this below). To get there we will take a lovely piece of new cycle lane along the new ring road and loop out. Then its back up to Schoneweide and – more or less – follow the [route of industrial cultur](https://industriekultur.berlin/erleben/fahrradrouten/wasser-und-strom/)e. First we will head East along the South bank of the River, cruise around the industrial heritage of Schoneweider with a few stories form me, then head back up the North side to the Funk Haus (itself a monument of industrial culture) for a sundowner beer and perhaps a bite to eat at [café Zola](https://maps.app.goo.gl/QpGL6UiyQoZG6Bxv8). After that its lights on for a return journey to Treptow/Freidrichshain – estimated time of arrival 9pm. **The Cycling** 20km loop to start and then a little sightseeing and a gentler pace. As long as you have a reasonable bike and are used to cycling around town, you should be fine to join in. **What to Bring** Spare inner tube for your tyre size, cash, waterproofs, suncream, snacks, a smile. Hope to see you there Simon Schöneweider is the home of Berlin’s Elektropolis. It was here that modern electricity networks were developed by AEG, creating a pioneering electricity generation and transmission system that served as a model for all. Not only did they build the power station and grid running from it, they then went on to build the factories necessary to produce components for the electrification of the cities around the globe. Turbines, lamps, cables, valves and much more were manufactured in this kilometer long stretch of the riverside. Along with it came new residential areas as the population swelled to 26 thousand from virtually nothing in 30 years from the 1890s. Today many of the buildings are derelict, some are under development and others are art spaces or ateliers. All retain their beauty and fascination as monuments to Berlin’s industrial past. Come and explore this unique and lesser-known slice of Berlin’s History together.

Open Reflection Women's Circle
Open Reflection Women's Circle
**Open Reflection Circle** is a small and intimate women’s gathering in Berlin, where we come together in a cozy café to share, reflect, and connect with one another. In this circle, a small group of around **8–10 women** gathers to spend time in meaningful conversation and reflection. We begin by introducing ourselves and gently creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. Through guided reflection prompts, we explore our journeys, our emotions, and the experiences that shape our lives. These prompts are designed to help you open up and reflect more deeply on your thoughts, your dreams, and the challenges you may be navigating. We also include a few light and playful exercises to break the ice and help everyone feel relaxed and connected. The intention is not to create pressure to share, but to create an environment where sharing feels natural and safe. The heart behind the **Open Reflection Circle** is simple: to bring together women who can hold space for each other and remind one another that we are not alone in our journeys. This is a space where we can talk honestly about our lives — our visions, our goals, what we are building, and what sometimes holds us back from taking action. We reflect together on questions such as: Where do we want to go in life? What are we dreaming of creating? What challenges are we facing in our emotional wellbeing or personal growth? By listening to one another’s stories and perspectives, we often discover insights that we might not have seen on our own. You are encouraged to bring a **notebook and pen**, as many women like to take notes from reflections, ideas, and inspiration that arise during the conversation. Toward the end of the gathering, we close with a small and meaningful practice: exchanging short **love letters of gratitude** with each other. These simple messages help us acknowledge the presence of the women in the circle and leave the space with a feeling of appreciation, connection, and warmth. The intention of this circle is not advice or fixing each other’s problems. It is simply to **listen, reflect, learn from one another, and hold space for the beautiful complexity of each woman’s journey.**
