\*\*NEW LOCATION UPDATE\*\* HELLO Everyone, We are happy to announce that our 6 year running group will be moving our weekly event back to our old location which is now under the Fionn MacCools banner. Game night will be at Fionn MacCools at 125 York Blvd #135 in Richmond Hill. Start time is at 7 PM sharp, so please do you absolute best to show up at least a few minutes before then. If you feel you are running late, let us know in the group chat or contact one of the organizers directly. If you are new to the group, we are made up of a friendly group of Dad's who like to play large variety of Euro style games both new and old. We encourage everyone to please try and support venue partner with food and/or drink orders, if at all possible. While the organizers usually bring a number of titles, it's fairly common for attendees to bring a game or two of their own to these events. You may want to keep in mind factors like game duration and table space required, set up time and repacking time. If you do not have anything to bring, don't feel like you have to, we've got you covered. Because the player count is usually not known precisely until everyone shows up, having extra games around with varying player counts helps when deciding what to play. Looking forward to seeing you at our next event!! PLEASE RSVP if you are coming, cheers!!

Potomac Paddle - Brunswick/Point-of-Rocks - Car shuttle (7 miles)
Potomac Paddle - Brunswick/Point-of-Rocks - Car shuttle (7 miles)
This is the absolute favorite trip for a few our members, and for good reason! Since I bet it will be a hot one, we'll do a car shuttle instead of biking the C&O this round. The trip is 7 miles downstream with some swirly bits and a few rocks, but not really anything that would count as rapids. Here's the itinerary (LOOK IN THE PHOTOS SECTION FOR A MAP): **Not later than 10:10am:** Arrive at Point-of-Rocks to load your boat onto the trailer. **10:30:** The shuttle caravan leaves promptly at 10:30 for Brunswick kayak launch or MARC Station. **11:15:** Launch our boats from the Brunswick Boat Ramp. **12:45:** We'll pull over to an island to have lunch. Bring lunch! **2:30:** We'll arrive at Point of Rocks. Everyone who drove the initial shuttle will jump back into a car to get back to Brunswick. **3:10ish:** The shuttle folks arrive back at Point-of-Rocks to load up their remaining boats. **3:30:** Ice cream at Rocky Point Creamery Point of Rocks Address: [3701 Canal Rd, Point of Rocks, MD 21777](https://maps.app.goo.gl/GLMTXLyaBZN8qyvB6) Brunswick Address: [100 S Maple Ave, Brunswick, MD 21716](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CrPtLZnjJCBm5tsR7) (UNDER the bridge) This is event is suitable for sit-on-top kayaks, canoes and touring/sea kayaks. Anyone using a recreational kayak should be experienced using their boat in mild currents. Paddle boards are welcome, but you need to be on the lookout for underwater obstructions (we've had members take a tumble previously when they hooked their skegs, they were both fine). Inflatable SUPs are allowed, but inflatable kayaks are not. Pedal kayaks are not at all recommended. This is a fairly complicated plan and requires all participants to arrive in the correct places at the correct times. Our shuttle caravan leaves at 10:30 , so please arrive with plenty of time to load your gear and get prepared. **We will not wait for latecomers and will not shuttle anyone who is not on the Attending list.**
