For our Open Gardens event of June, our walk will visit the private gardens of the Bedford Park Garden Suburb as part of the Bedford Park Festival. Bedford Park is the finest example of the garden suburb movement. Extolled by Betjeman with many examples of works of Norman Shaw and Voysey. We collect our tickets and maps at the parish hall. Cream teas are served at the hall all afternoon. Refreshments Refreshments at start point, plus at several gardens Travel Turnham Green station (District line) is 3 minutes from start point. Free parking a short distance from start. Start 1:45pm prompt inside the Parish Hall, St Michael's and All Angels Parish Hall, Bath Road, Chiswick, W4 1LW. Turn left out of station and continue 100 meters to crossing and Church is ahead. Walk fee of £2 for event payable on the day. A good knowledge of English history is required for this event.

Let's spice up our Sunday with heart warming food and a fairly long, lazy walk. We are heading to East London for an authentic Malaysian brunch followed by a scenic 5+ mile stroll through two of London's best green spaces. A rich Malaysian brunch (think flaky roti canai, fragrant nasi lemak, and comforting laksa). A 5-to-6 mile "I Spy" walk through the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and vibrant Victoria Park. Relax, chill and have a good day out! Weather permitting! And near many Tfl public transport network, if you wish to leave anytime.

We've been here a few times before - how about a nice summer's lunch at Gordon Ramsay's Street Pizza, close to St Paul's Cathedral ... just £20 per person for a 90-minute bottomless pizza lunch? Basically the waiters bring round a selection of pizzas with different toppings one by one, you either have a slice from that, or wait for the next one. And they keep doing that for 90 minutes! I have secured a table for 10, so don't miss out on this fun lunch! Please do not take a firm place if you plan on withdrawing late or no-showing. Local members of Ohio Paper Folders are invited to our home Fourth of July cookout and fireworks show. This will be on Sat July 4th. This is a four grill (plus a big-ass smoker) cookout with burgers, brats, veggi burgers, salmon burgers, roasted corn and lots of sides (feel free to bring a side). The fireworks show is...huge. 760 mortars plus four tables of multi-shot cakes. (anything worth doing is worth over-doing). We start cooking around 5:00 PM, end when everyone is stuffed. Fireworks just after sundown, so around 9:30 PM. We have an air conditioned building where people hang out and eat.
