IN PERSON SEMINAR - YEATS, RUDOLF STEINER AND REINCARNATION
**IN PERSON SEMINAR - YEATS, RUDOLF STEINER AND REINCARNATION** **with Andrew Welburn** **The great lyric poet W.B. Yeats had a life-long fascination with reincarnation. But strange things started to happen when his young anthroposophist wife brought him Rudolf Steiner's indications for finding your previous life from 1912. A life-long Anthroposophist, he has written several books on Steiners’ philosophy, esotericism, and Christianity, and on the prophet Zarathustra.*** All Welcome, No Need to Book, No Charge. Ballad of Falling Dragons book club
Ballad of Falling Dragons book club
Hi there! Planning on hosting a book club-esque meet in central London where we grab a drink/wine/cocktail and discuss the new Ballad of Falling Dragons book by Sarah A Parker (when the moon hatched book #2). No one will know each other so don’t feel weird about coming on your own - just bring thoughts, opinions and bookish enthusiasm! Spaces are limited so RSVP asap! Date is 19th June. Exact time TBC (it’ll be after work around 18:30/19:00). Topics/questions to discuss will be provided during the book club session (more so to act as scaffolding to help break ice at the start rather than to be rigidly adhered to - if conversation flows then we’ll run with this, so feel free to propose your own topics IRL)

Friday Strategy Board Games at the Coat and Badge, Putney
Friday Strategy Board Games at the Coat and Badge, Putney
Strategy Board Games at the The Coat and Badge, Putney. **Is this event for you?** If you have been to a few WLGC events, or are used to playing modern board games with a significant amount of rules, then this event is for you. If not, please join us at our "Beginner Friendly" event every other week. This is an event to play Strategy games which range from medium to heavy in complexity and last 2-4 hours, depending on the game. It can take about 15-30min to teach, again depending on the complexity of the game. I usually advertise which game I am going to bring a few days in advance, as it can be helpful to at least be familiar with the rules. Other gamers may bring another selection of games, so be prepared to be surprised on the day. Here are more details specifically about the Putney events: We’re a friendly, social group that regularly play a range of board games and card games. This event has been running since June 2022 and we have a core group of regular gamers but welcome new members who are looking for a games group to play on a regular or fairly regular basis. Games we play range from, 30min - 1hour games, to the heavier 2-3hour games. We alternate the weeks we play shorter games versus the longer strategy games (check the event title for which type of games are being played). Quicker, fun, social games we play: • Just One https://youtu.be/0DDRxztfJP0?si=QPavmMFE3DFipM-x • Skull King https://youtu.be/xlFHfCqY-5Y?si=X-U1WLP5JOI0oTcB • Planted https://youtu.be/BB5mwXFPrUA?si=oLor8WTSpLUs7B12 • Project L https://youtu.be/EFV-qavWUlE?si=41_XhoZQvWs_9Zp2 • 7 Wonders https://youtu.be/z_Wfdn5Es8U?si=-L3cLo2Uppdip2ow Longer, Strategy games we play: • Lost Ruins of Arnak https://youtu.be/Kg2z4ApABY8?si=l46LNYRjQA_0QoZS • Terraforming Mars https://youtu.be/n3yVpsiVwL8?si=SW7VCdJpnqErKlIO We like to start on time but if you do arrive late, don’t worry, it may mean you have to wait a bit until the next game starts, but we always try to accommodate where we can. If it's Strategy games night, it is more important that we start on time as the games are longer and we want to finish on time. If you know you are going to be late please just let us know your eta. The event is free but please keep in mind that in order to have the space and run the event on a regular basis we need to purchase drinks/food from the venue. Also, please don’t sign up and not show up. Not only do you take up a spot for someone keen to play games but we have limited space that we need to reserve with the venue and no-shows jeopardise our relationship with the venue. Thanks for your understanding. Hope to see you at a games table!!

I have a table reserved on deck (usually this is the first table on your right as you walk down the ramp onto the boat , but if you can't find me please ask a member of staff .) . TRIBALHEART ECSTATIC DANCE
TRIBALHEART ECSTATIC DANCE
DANCING EVERY 1ST, 2nd and 3RD SATURDAY NIGHTS <3 Tribalheart Ecstatic dance creates space for free-form movement in a chat free zone where you can dive deeply into the heart, reconnecting, expressing, dancing in and out, up and down, learning to let go of anything and everything that holds you back from yourSelf and inner freedom. Let the energy move you, let the spirit of the heart guide you. There is space to dance alone and no pressure to connect with anyone else, just be yourself and honour what you need in the moment. This night is an inspiration and fusion of club culture, dancing yoga, active meditation, cardio fitness, Ecstatic trance dance (blindfolds available) and a sacred Nataraj. If you choose to connect, it is a chance to meet others without words from a place of movement, meditation, energy and soul; eyes and heart wide open. ### We will start the evening with a welcoming warmup to relax the body and mind. Together we will set an intention for the evening inviting the heart to open and awaken within us thus creating sacred space for all. For those that wish to partake, we will enjoy and deepen our intention with a short Cacao ceremony. (The cacao is used to take us deeper into our body, awakening our senses, connecting us to heart energy and aiding a spring in our step) We also embark on some dynamic breathwork to fire us up for the evening. \- Please leave at least 2 hours after eating a heavy meal if drinking cacao\. -Please do not drink alcohol before the event as it is contraindicated with some of the breathwork techniques we practice We inject passion into sourcing the music for our events and aim to deliver an eclectic mix of genres for your heart. From tribal to electronic and everything in between we aim to assist a natural flow peaking and resting to mirror the rhythm and energy of life. Prepare to shake, spin, whirl and twirl. The music becomes the facilitator during the wild ecstatic dance ending with moments of stillness into silence where we can rest and breathe together Each DJ has their own sound and energy to be shared, making each night unique and different... Greenwich Riverside Pub Crawl
Greenwich Riverside Pub Crawl
**7.00 - The Old Brewery, The Old Royal Naval College, SE10 9LW** **8.15/8.30 - The Cutty Sark, 4-6 Ballast Quay, SE10 9PD** **9.45 - Trafalgar Tavern, Park Row, SE10 9NW** We didn't get to Greenwich last year because Cutty Sark Docklands Light Railway station was closed, so I thought we'd head there for the first of our slightly more ambitious summer events. Strictly speaking, it's the last day of the astronomical spring with the summer solstice not until Sunday (9.24 in the morning, since you ask), but we should get a good view of the sunset from The Cutty Sark, which stands more or less on the Meridian. The Old Brewery - [https://www.oldbrewerygreenwich.com/](https://www.oldbrewerygreenwich.com/) \- is just a short walk from Cutty Sark station\. Turn left out of the station and when you emerge from the shopping arcade cross over the road into College Approach\. Walk down to the end of College Approach and cross over into The Old Royal Navy College \(College Way\)\. Walk down to the end of the building on the left and you'll find the pub just before you reach the patch of green space\. For Cutty Sark station, the most obvious connection to the underground network is at Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line). From the underground station, follow the signs to Heron Quays DLR station and from there it's five stops heading towards Lewisham from Platform 1. Alternatively, the DLR connects with the National Rail network at Greenwich and Lewisham. From Greenwich, Cutty Sark station is only one stop heading towards Bank from Platform 3. There are half-hourly services to Greenwich from Cannon Street via London Bridge. From Lewisham, it's four stops heading towards Bank. There are frequent services to Lewisham from Cannon Street and Charing Cross via London Bridge. As the travelling will be a bit more challenging than normal for some of us, I have put up slightly earlier starting and finishing times so there's a bit more leeway to get home at the end of the night. The plan is to move on to The Cutty Sark\, 4\-6 Ballast Quay\, SE10 9PD \- \[Cutty Sark \| Young's Pub near the River Thames\, Greenwich \([cuttysarkse10.co.uk](http://cuttysarkse10.co.uk/))](https://www.cuttysarkse10.co.uk/) - at around 8.15/8.30 and then the Trafalgar Tavern, Park Row, SE10 9NW - http://www.trafalgartavern.co.uk/ - at around 9.45. All of the pubs have outside areas, so that's where we'll be if the weather's fine. As ever, we may do things differently on the night. Please take a note of my number - 07761-816862 - so that you can phone me if you can't find us **(but no texts or messaging please)**.

Just be prepared to teach us how to play! * We don't charge a cover fee, so please help support the pub by ordering food and drink throughout the afternoon. * Please keep your RSVPs updated so we can manage numbers and ensure we can reserve enough tables.
