Hi all! On top of regular monthly sessions, we are going back to the root of the book club, the big door stoppers. We aim to give 3 months of advanced notice, so no more excuse of not able to read it. Just do it!👌 Usual message: If you want to meet in a casual atmosphere over a drink or even a bite of food 🍔, join us for a discussion of the book and overall chatting about books. Whether you are an advanced bookish person or just starting out: Everybody is welcome! 📚 We usually meet near a pub by the London Bridge, a book will be placed on the table for you to find us. New members are always welcome. :)

Bring whatever you’re working on, whether you’re outlining a new idea or deep into your current WIP. This is a space for writers to connect, share ideas, and find inspiration. Whether you’re looking for feedback, want to brainstorm with others, or simply need a quiet place to write, our goal is to build a supportive and collaborative community for sci-fi and fantasy authors at all stages of their journey. Writing will start at 6:30, but feel free to arrive and leave at your own convenience! We will end at 8:30pm, but the pub is open till 11pm so after it ends people can mingle or go home as they please. **While we encourage collaboration and occasional chat, we ask everyone to be mindful of those focused on writing until 8pm.** **Also please support the venue by buying food or drink from the pub!**

We'll be meeting to play games. Invitation open to all members and drop ins. No need to bring your own games as there are always options from other members but please do so if there's something you're interested in playing. Some longer games we've played recently include Eclipse, Brass Birmingham, Hansa Teutonica, Hegemony and Inis. But we've also played medium/light games like Heat, Flamme Rouge, Fallout and Acquire. Plus some short card games like Lords of Scotland, Skull King and Seas of Strife. We generally get started playing games at 7:30. You can park at the pub for free if you validate at the bar and there may also be space on nearby streets.
