Planning a regular 10K around the park each monday evening at 7PM.
Pace will be at about 5:20 -5:40 per km and we will stick to paths or easy trails.
Ideally bring a head or body torch and maybe hi-viz clothing.

We have swing dance classes for complete beginners, improvers and intermediate level dancers. We also have solo jazz classes which are suitable for all levels.

7:00 - 8:00pm Solo Jazz or Intermediate Swing Dance Courses
8:00 - 9:45pm Beginner/Improver Swing Dance Courses

Our experienced teachers will give individual student feedback and they will email you recap videos of each week's class content.
**PARTNER:**
For swing dance classes you don't need to sign up with a partner but if you can find someone to sign up with it might help you skip the waiting list. 3-4km Run and Beers
A month into spring already, summer may be just around the corner, and for those that have the Dublin Marathon on their dance card later this year, thoughts must be switching to the Training Plans. For the rest of us, not that we don't welcome marathon buds, we still want to enjoy a leisurely run with friends on a wednesday evening, followed by a few beers and chat with fellow travellers.
This week, whether you are a future marathoner, or simply want a little bit of exercise, (we only run around 4kM,) and to meet new friends, we will be running to **Murphy's Pub in Rathmines.** so come along and enjoy the craic
For newcomers, our Group Runs are great fun, safe for all, and once the run is complete, we can share a beer, have a good chat, make new friends, and look forward to the following week.

Meet up, Warm up, and Get Moving to Get Fit :)
We will start the session with some light stretching exercises to warm us up, and help to prepare us for the run. The pace of the run will be steady, depending on who is running with us on the day.
Days when we have a large group we may break into multiple groups, each operating independently at their own pace.
Saturdays are good for intermediate runners, and is usually a 10km run, again at a steady pace.
If you're looking to get into running, come along on Tuesday or Thursday mornings and I will coach you, at your pace, to get you up to running (jogging) to 5km without stops. The only thing I will ask, if you're a beginner, is that you're able to walk for approx 30 minutes at a relaxed pace.
PLEASE NOTE: That, if you RSVP a particular event, then please ensure that you attend, as there may be other members relying on you for company on the run.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any run or activity that you participate in with the group will be at your own risk.
Usually we have a post run (after our cool down) coffee in the Dash container at the Hole in the Wall pub.

25's - 45's Pool Scuba Try đŹđDive (PADI) For First Timers.
Do you like to try an indoor pool scuba dive with scuba dive equipmentđł? If you are interested in going for this Pool scuba try diveđŹclass, please RSVP early as there will be other people going beside this meetup. If anyone cannot make it on this day and wants a different date, RSVP and you can change your date to another date. This event is (PADI) scuba dive for First Timers who are interested in trying Scuba Diving. This will be a scuba dive in a large swimming pool 5m deep at one end. Cost is about 55 euros. Scuba dive equipment will be included and supplied. You will be shown how to use scuba diving equipment by a dive instructor. If you do well in the pool, you can go to the next step and take up an open water PADI dive course qualification. With this qualification it will allow you to do open water scuba diving world wide. Dublin open water boat dives and weekend Atlantic sea boat dives trips and or Fjord boat scuba dives trips will be also avaliable to you around Ireland and World Wide once you are a PADI Open Water qualified scuba diver.
People use Sea swimming for its healing properties,it washes viruses, bacteria and cleanse your skin amongst other things due to the sea salt content. Since the pandemic there has been a large increase in people going swimming. Scuba diving also refreshes your mind like hiking to start a new fresh day and a new work week. Anyone interested, please RSVP and I will send you the booking information.
As usual this is a sporting event, so when you RSVP and attend this meetup, every person is responsible for their on health and saftey and accept full responsibilty.
Phoenix Park Wednesday Evening Run
Join for the group for a 10km run in the Phoenix Park on Wednesday evenings.
We start running at 6:15pm SHARP. The pace will be approximately 5:30/5:40 mins/km, ideally you will need to be able to run at this pace to stay with the group.
We meet opposite the entrance to the Papal Cross car park, on the small side road just off the Acres Road.

WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like youâve seen in period films such as âPride and Prejudiceâ, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. Thatâs English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like âswing your partnerâ and âdo-si-do,â like youâve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alĂĄ âRiverdance.â Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THATâs Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot.

Hoover Dam Hike
Join us for one of our favorite hikes this Tuesday (4/21/26) at 6:30 pm as we hike the Hoover Dam Scenic Trail, starting at the west end of the dam. This hike includes some paved paths/roads along with some dirt trails, with a few beautiful views of the reservoir. Join us for this 2 mile hike, finding us in the parking lot at the corner of Sunbury and Smoke Burr.

Hike Pickerington Ponds
We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can!
As always optional lunch after.
