Knowing Who You Can Trust
Knowing Who You Can Trust
Your survival depends on knowing who you can rely on. But how can you tell who your real friends are? How can you determine if a person will help make a joint venture successful? Is there a way to predict behavior? Yes. There are fundamental elements to human behavior. When you know them you have insight into your fellow man, and just by observing how people act, you will know *everything* about them. #### On this lecture you will learn: * The important role of trust in human relationships. * The Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation—the tool to know true character and predict what people will do. * How to evaluate others accurately and guarantee a more certain future for yourself and those you care about. With the knowledge you learn on this course, you will have tools to know who you can trust and who you can depend on. *“Trustworthiness is a highly esteemed commodity. When one has it, one is considered valuable. When one has lost it, one may be considered worthless.”* *—L. Ron Hubbard*

**Architecture of Intellect: How Real Organisations Build and Use AI** RSVP 🔗 https://luma.com/mg2wwmom **Igor Ageev** brings 25+ years of building technology inside banks and fintechs. He will walk through what it actually looks like to deploy AI in regulated environments, the architectural decisions, the constraints you cannot ignore, and the places where even well-designed systems quietly fall apart. **Sergey Ignatov**, one of the creators of GoLand and DataGrip at JetBrains, will talk about what happens when AI agents become a serious part of how developers work. He will cover ACP (Agent Client Protocol) and what building that kind of standard looks like from the inside, including how intelligent tooling scales across real teams and codebases. Vlad Breus, Principal Data Scientist at SoundCloud, will cover where ML projects fail in production, where analytics misleads, and what better decision-making actually looks like in practice. **Ezra Citron** from Revolut's experimentation platform will follow with a short lightning talk on how rigorous A/B testing keeps AI systems grounded in real impact rather than nice demos. As always, the talks will be followed by an open Q&A and informal networking with senior engineers, architects, data and ML practitioners, and technical founders from across London. 🤝 📅 Date: 2 June 2026 🕕 Time: 6:45 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM) 📍 Venue: Revolut, 30 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HX https://maps.app.goo.gl/HSo3GmyTQtLTwYaG7

INFJ Hangout (early-June)
INFJ Hangout (early-June)
Hey! Please join us for a chilled Saturday afternoon Meetup at Picturehouse at the slightly earlier time of 12pm! It was nice and quiet when we met last time in the afternoon. Come and hopefully have a little bit of quiet sanctuary with us. The topic for this meet is **"Success"**. What does success mean to you? What domains of life do you prioritise? Work, relationships, family, social status, lifestyle, personal goals (e.g. quitting addictions), psychological goals such as overcoming fears, breaking generational cycles, working through difficult childhood experiences, or other challenging life events. We can also explore our ideas of success as children vs. now, how they have evolved, the conception of success as a destination or maintained flow state, taking on responsibilities successfully or attaining a certain spiritual or mental state. More broadly speaking, how have commonly held ideas of success evolved over time? Do the traditional priorities of accruing (enough) wealth, attaining job security, getting married, raising children in a nuclear family or having a prestigious occupation/employer remain? Or are they losing their relevance in a more open-minded time of influencers, digital nomads, content creators, crypto traders and entrepreneurs? Have we shifted at all to a more holistic person-centred perspective where personal, spiritual and community driven journeys and occupations have provided a counterpoint to these ideas? We also thought for this Meetup we'd have a bit of a check-in, for anyone who would like to do that. Our conversations can often be quite focused on our functions but this will give an opportunity to talk more personally. We are primarily a peer led support group and are looking to build a community of like-minded people for fun, support and connection. We'll meet on the 1st Floor of Picturehouse Central (Piccadilly Circus). If you turn right at the top of the stairs and head towards the screens, there's an area on the right-hand side which is quieter than the main bar hopefully we'll get a space there, although we'll comment on the day. We'll have an INFJ sign on the table. Please note, the last few times, it wasn't possible to buy alcoholic drinks without a cinema ticket - only soft drinks, or tea/coffee at the bar. There's always some people who don't come on the day, so if you're top of the waitlist, or would just really like to come, please come anyway - we often take over the entire curtained area!

Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
**The Behavior Gap: Where Products Win or Lose** Teams today have more data than ever, and yet many still struggle to understand why customers adopt, engage with, or abandon their products. Teams sprint, ship faster, and chase more signals… all while metrics stall and confidence drops. The missing piece isn’t more data. It’s often the behavioral insight between the metrics, explaining why the numbers move in the first place. Dashboards can tell you what customers did, but understanding why they did it (and how to influence what they do next) requires a deeper blend of insights. This session is about closing that gap. Drawing from real-world experience designing and scaling products as [ZoCo Design](https://zocodesign.com/)’s CEO, [Lacey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) will share how to cut through the noise and identify the insights that actually change behavior—moving people, and moving metrics. You’ll learn: * Why understanding customer behavior is a quant and qual challenge * How to spot the signals that actually predict behavior change * Where AI accelerates insight, and where it creates distraction * How to get meaningfully closer to customers, without adding more tools This talk reframes how to evaluate performance and identify what levers actually improve it, helping your team to make smarter bets with greater confidence. Every meaningful outcome is driven by behavior change. And when you know how to design for behavior, you stop guessing, and start building things that work. **About Our Speaker** [Lacey Picazo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) is the Founder and CEO of ZoCo, a healthcare product studio that turns complex, high-stakes ideas into products that drive real-world adoption. She partners with healthcare organizations to uncover critical care delivery insights, focus product strategy through behavior design, and build solutions that patients and providers actually use. Drunken Philosophy: Are you really who you think you are? What is the "self"?
Drunken Philosophy: Are you really who you think you are? What is the "self"?
I have been studying the question of "self" online with Prof. Ellie Anderson and so I thought a prompt on the "self" might be interesting. Full confession: I had Claude create this prompt and I like it, so here goes: Imagine a thought experiment that merges two classic puzzles: > You undergo a procedure, performed neuron by neuron, in which every biological component of your brain is replaced with a functionally identical synthetic substitute. At each step, your behavior, memories, and personality remain unchanged. When the last neuron is swapped, is the consciousness experiencing the world still you? And — more pressingly — was there ever a continuous "you" to begin with? ### Questions to Wrestle With * If consciousness is purely physical, does the *gradual* nature of the replacement matter, or is it equivalent to being destroyed and rebuilt? * Could there be a "self" without continuity of experience — even moment to moment, while you sleep? On a more practical level, consider the simpler case first: **hemispherectomy** patients — people who have had an entire cerebral hemisphere surgically removed — often retain a strong sense of personal identity and continuity. This suggests "you" are not rigidly tied to specific physical material. But does that vindicate the synthetic neuron case, or merely show that identity is more *flexible* than we thought — not that it can survive *complete* substrate replacement? I used Claude so I could get this out today and let everyone have some time to consider it. Hope to see you at the Oracle. Sorry about the location change two weeks ago. That's what I get for trusting local weather predictions!
